They also began writing their worst album ever during the end of that era. So for that reason, in terms of overall best AA in general, I'ma have to go with 2017 s/t era, hands down. Danny was at his most vulnerable lyrically, there was so much hype for his return to the band, it's their best record, etc etc etc. And their live show on 2018, while not being 2011 anymore, was definitely a MASSIVELY significant improvement over 2012 or 2013 live.
They played a new style of Metalcore then it was starting to be generic. Now they play generic Rock which was done before by many bands and AA can't/don't/won't bring a new style of Rock.

His voice changed a lot, and not that a vocalist cannot do that, but I mean, he left screams (and not he cannot do it) long time ago.
