I am so sorry! I hope you have gotten to the point that you can think of your son and smile. I am so happy you had better neighbors than this guy has! May you be blessed.
So sorry for your loss. It’s so hard to get motivated to breath in and out, let alone give a crap about tall grass when you lose the love of your life or anyone who means the absolute world to you. All it takes is one person to care. It can change your perspective and help you carry on. ❤
It’s amazing that the neighbor(s) know he lost his wife and they have time to complain about his yard but don’t seem to have enough time or kindness to help him with it. Sad.
a lot of the time, you know someone lost their spouse and everyone says they want to help out, and a month later, nobody checks back. or they don't want o pester them, so they wait to be asked. it's not always comfortable to keep asking if someone needs and assist, so great that he got one from a stranger!
Good thing I don't live in Florida I think that the neighbors would be kind to help him out that is very selfish not to help him they should be a shame for them salf s
Before you knock the neighbors yo don't know how this guy is,I had a neighbor that refused to let people on his property no matter how much we wanted to help.
This one choked me up. 42 years of marriage, 4 years of her being sick then passing; he's handling everything on his own. This is definitely going to give him some relief during his grief and maybe even some encouragment to healing into new life. It just takes one person to do something like this to see the dawning of a new day. Great job Al.
Al you're A Miracle Angel. I'm sure you brought him relief & joy. Such a huge burden off his shoulders. May the Almighty Bless You Always. Hugs from India
When our neighbors are going through something we always try to help. My husband and I are probably the youngest couple in our area so we try to help out as much as we can. It's crazy the neighbor knows what he's going through and haven't offered to help.
It makes me crazy that neighbors don't help each other out anymore. This poor man must feel lost without his wife. Thank you for having such a kind heart.
Guy was overwhelmed and that huge act of kindness might be all he needs to get his life back on a positive track. You can hear how thankful he was. And shame on the neighbors for not stepping up alone or together to help someone in a time of need. Glad theres that 1% of people like Al that still have compassion for strangers.
This is so sad. The neighbor knew he lost his wife and all she could do was complain, shameful and heartbreaking. Thank you Al for your love and compassion for people. Kindness is always a good thing.
I agree as well. Hopefully she tunes into some of these videos and reads comments and realizes she can actually do something helpful for a neighbor in need rather than just complaining.
EXACTLY. I agree 100%! Then, the neighbor had the audacity to pull out her lawn chair and sit there and watch Al cut the grass. Some neighbors are just downright despicable and would rather cuss & complain than lift a finger to help another neighbor. Especially a neighbor who's probably still mourning the loss of their spouse! Bless you, Al!!!
I don’t understand how the neighbors know how he was struggling and didn’t help him. Life is a struggle sometimes and we all need to be helpful when we see others struggle. Way to go Al! That was one weight lifted off of that man’s shoulders when he came home to a fresh cut yard!! What a blessing you are!❤
I would love to have that lady as a neighbor ! Also, this really did just happen and its tough to tell when to lend a hand out. I think these folks probally mean well....
@@stevejette2329 unfortunately down here in Florida after Irma alot of people were dropped from home insurance and finding an affordable insurer as well as the rental crisis we have down here making rent prices higher than NYC plus we don't have the wages as we don't have alot of union jobs and often very greedy small business owners. It's pretty cut throat down here these days unfortunately
Totally agree........but they are good in bitching about it......instead of getting 4-5 neighbors together while it was still halfway manageable.......Nevertheless.....great job....cant wait to see the back !!!!!!!!!!!
Bless you, AL. He needed you more than he ever realized. So sad the neighbours couldn't have stepped up for him. You are his angel. Bless you a million times over.
Wow, her words about him/his yard. Knowing his circumstances. Just wow! Step up, if no one in the neighborhood can or wont, take a collection and hire someone to help the poor man out. Give the gift of caring for a neighbor.
Yes I agree 💯!!! I normally don't watch video's like this but I love the transformation of the before and after!! Plus Al uses his free time to help people out he uses his equipment and money. I'm not sure how I started watching his videos and something told me to keep watching I think it's amazing what Al does!! You can come mow our lawn!!! Lol sending ❤❤ your way!!!
This man extended the hand of kindness to a stranger. Too bad his neighbors couldn't have done the same. What a transformation! What a wonderful man you are Al , may God richly bless you.
Must be an unfriendly neighborhood!! I'm 70 and I had 2 older men living a few doors down. We live in small condos. I would see them on their riders cutting peoples grass. I was new to the area and ask what was going on. They told me that some where widow ladies, some where single mom's. They cut their grass for free. They both died last year within a couple months! Now, myself and another 70 yr old man have taken up the mantel!! God Bless you Al!!
God bless you both for helping the ladies. My daddy did the same thing in their small community until his health prevented him from doing so. He did everything for “his ladies” from lawn to handyman jobs from the goodness of his heart. My momma was always cooking meals for those that were ill or going thru unfortunate times. They were not rich financially but what they gave others was truly priceless.
Grief can be debilitating. After four years of taking care of a wife of 42 years probably left him with a lot to deal with. He really needed help. God bless you both.
This makes me so thankful for my parents neighbors. When my mother was on life support, a neighbor came and took care of the yard. After she passed they constantly came to check on him and invite him to dinner. Good neighbors are a blessing!
@@ShogunHull I have been doing my part. Hopefully we can bring back the better society. I remember years ago all the neighbors got together and closed off my street.i cooked meat and veggies on 8 different grills all lines up in the street. Tether ball poles in stretch, volleyball in one yard, badminton in another, horse shoes in another yard. We hauled in tables and chairs from the church. Other memories was laying sod. Every house on my block I helped lay sod. Sadly only one lawn still looks ok. Neighbors moved and investors rented and still do. One yard is a junk yard another is tall dried out grass. Culture change as all but 2 out of 9 homes are Hispanics. Some legal some illegal but there is no pride in a clean yard.
I mean they probably figure he has 4 vehicles in his driveway but he can’t afford to landscape his yard? Losing someone is never good but he obviously has the means.
Totally agree!!😊 I was wondering who was gonna comment on that.👏🏾 Thank you so much for taking notice of such. Wow! You think that they would also be kind enough to move their cars... So that he could have access with ease to do a job that he's doing as a blessing.🤷🏾
Would be nice since he's doing such a wonderful job as a blessing. It would be nice if they would have moved their cars, so he would have easy access to complete his work...ijs🤷🏾
This man sounds just like my dad. He's having health issues where he can't mow the lawn anymore and my mom just passed away from brain cancer (married 41 years). Their yard had been so neglected for too long and when their neighbors found out what was going on, they all came over and took care of their yard. The world needs more kindness like this. Thank you!
My neighbor is a Lieutenant for my local police and his wife is a dispatcher, their only son recently graduated from officer academy and is now a Sheriff's Deputy. My boyfriend mows his front yard for him all the time because he works so hard for our community, is an amazing neighbor and we just find it our way of saying thanks for all you do and showing support for the blue.
Especially when they know he's going through a hard time. We had a gentleman who lost his wife on our block and for most of that summer we each took turns doing his yard for him so he didn't have to think about it
I feel this mans pain. My wife is stroke survivor and the hospital told us to put her in a nursing home. She is at home and gets better care than any facility would give. I get up at 5 am, go to bed around midnight, and in that time I care for all her needs, cook the meals, take care of the property, yard, animals, and work as much as I can. Our neighbor that has been a friend for 30 years just passed away from cancer and I am also taking care of their yard also. Its a tough road he has traveled the past 4 years with his wife. If you live near him, reach out to him and offer a little help, even if its just a home cooked meal or a plate of fresh cookies. He needs to emotional support more than most will ever know.
💜 I’m also a widow. Life can be very overwhelming after a loss. Everything changes and I mean everything. It becomes a new and totally different chapter in your life that takes time to adjust to. It’s sad that the neighbors know but don’t offer to help.
I’m widowed also and I know how my landscape suffered from neglect for a while, especially my backyard. Now I’m doing better, keeping my yard cut, and I even cut a neighbor’s yard because I can. I don’t understand how neighbors allow each other’s yards to become a codes enforcement issue.
Well, I joined the lost my spouse club in April 2023. I miss him so. I had 48 yrs. My sister gave up 10 weeks to live with me. Yes, it was difficult for her. She did get homesick; she lives with her son and daughter in law. She is a widow of 8 yrs. She led me through the process. This is hard, but it was made a tad easier because of her generosity. Al, you have added to this man's life because of your generosity. I hope YT is paying well enough to keep this charity going. They certainly have enough ads.
So sad that the neighbors would not get together and help this neighbor. Al you are a angel. If everyone in the world was like you, it would be such a better place. God bless you and your family.
What a blessing you are! I have 2 nurses that live next door. I became disabled and they have taken over my yard for 4yrs. Even when they moved they still came over. Such a great blessing to me and my wife...
I lost my husband of 44-years six months ago, before he passed from dementia, I was his full-time caretaker. I'm old as dirt but I still managed to keep up the yard and house. I hear women take the loss of a spouse better than men do, so my condolences to the gentleman in this video, all I can say is it will get better with time.
True ...my sister lost her husband when he was 54...She never remarried , now, she's 90yrs old, mows her 1/2 acre property and grows her own veges.. 😊 women are amazing
Everyone operates differently. I worked in hospice and home care for a bit and I was great at my job but all I would think about 24/7 is the families I seen and how much help they needed and that I should be helping them. I worked on call, the longest shift I had was with that job; 18 hours with many many 14 and a few 16s. Ive seen people beg me to not die and Ive seen people who couldnt be any happier, Ive seen families who lived in literal shacks in the woods and trailers with holes throughout them and dog/cat piss n shit throughout the house so bad you could skate on it in the kitchen laminate. Ive also seen multi millionaires with butlers and a team of grounds keepers. Everyones head is a little different, best not to judge.
My heart goes out to Ron and anyone who has lost a loved one. Grief is a process and after 42 years, I can't even imagine his pain. You help so much Al. He needed your help. God bless you for all you do
I knew when I saw the yard, especially the back that she had been ill for some time and he was overwhelmed. So glad you went ahead and did this for him. Now he can have a great vacation and deal with other things in his life while enjoying some well deserved rest in his beautiful yard. You've done it again Al, good on you!
To the homeowner, May you find some peace and solace in knowing that we care about you. Grief hangs on and it is hard to get past. Please take your vacation time to rest your mind and body. God bless you. Dear Al, You are such a good man. God bless you, keep you safe and happy. Your community is a better place with you in it.
Al, you are an angel . . . I lost my husband a little over a year ago, and I had several months when I could barely do the things that needed to be done, never mind anything extra, like mowing the yard. I'm coming out of that phase, but I understand that homeowner's place: if it isn't vital for living right now in this moment, it can't be done. Thank you, Al, for helping a wounded and grieving person with the weight of their very heavy burden. (I'm at 20 minutes in, so haven't seen the ending yet.)
I am not trying to sound too mean but what happened to neighbors helping neighbors? Seem like they could have taken the time and effort to mow his yard as a way of letting him know that they were sorry about his loss.
I lost my husband years ago and my body, my spirit was heavy. I couldn't do anything for a long time. Didn't eat for 3 weeks. Eventually working in the yards became my therapy, spent all my time away from work in my yards. It was truly my sanctuary. Then I got sick and lost everything. I am thankful for this young man because I think the love & compassion of his deed will raise this man's spirits a bit.
The neighbors didn't have to help him, but they didn't need to be so heartless. Thank you for helping him, I'm sure it means the world to have some peace of mind while he's going through such hardship ❤
Wife was cheering you on with all that Thunder ❤ the backyard isn’t a nightmare, it’s an Al gonna killed it backyard !!!!! Thank you for being so kind. Praying for Ron! 42 years is a long time 😢
Our neighbor lost his wife 4yrs ago after a 60yr marriage, he still misses her terribly, he says “My Ada” loved a well manicured lawn but I no longer am able. My husband keeps it immaculate for him now and I often fix his favorite meals/desserts.
@@scarter8137 Thank you for being a loving, caring, person, this is what we are supposed to do, be their for each other, it very seldom happens in today world. I always appreciate hearing of acts of kindness shown to our fellow men, woman. We are all in this together. The dear soul must miss his darling wife after all those years. It seems that in today's world seniors are being forgotten, which is terribly sad as they are a special breed of exceptional people. Thanks for sharing, being there for your neighbour, special thanks to your husband as well for doing his lawn. You two are blessed with a beautiful caring heart, thanks for caring, sharing !!!.
@@mildredmorine745 - Awww, Mildred such nice comment! Thank you I truly give credit to my elderly neighbors whom have passed, they lead by example, always helping others my husband and I included! Have a great day 🤗
I don't think a lot of ppl realize how strong you are, cause you make pulling those big branches etc look easy. I'm 70 and trying to take care of my mom's place after she passed and I eventually get it done. However, it takes me a week to do what you do in one video 😮 Some ppl judge the yard owners you do but I can see how easy it is to get behind and never catch up. Ty for those great jobs you do.
That was a good time to help someone. The death of a wife and overworking is not good. I like that you figured out backlogged items, like old branches, the plant blocking walking, a vining plant in the roof gutter, trees needing raising... and worked to fix them. That looks so much better and I hope the return of order and some peace relieved the man of some of the overwhelm he is going through. Glad you are going to be able to do the back as well. Also a memorial for his wife. She is now remembered by many.
My heart goes out to him, I know first hand what its like to care for a loved one and see them decline day/year... You try to keep a positive attitude but it gets so overwhelming. Thank you Al for showing this man some kindness. Even if it might not always seems so? These moments mean A LOT to those who receive them.
This was so heartbreaking. I am so happy that you helped him. No one knows what it takes in taking care of someone who sick, plus him working all those hours. He is no spring chicken. Thank you for taking some stress off of him.
It’s a shame the neighbors complained but didn’t even offer to help him in his time of need. The yard looks AMAZING! Keep up the great work and God bless you and your business 🙏🏾🙏🏾. I know that relieves some of his stress, now he can enjoy his vacation
How long would it have taken a handful of neighbors one day to knock that front yard out? Maybe that neighbor couldn't do it , who knows but I found her attitude really bad.
@@HannadayFLO i didn't think that ya'll be making something out of nothing just cause someone puts fuck in their sentences doesn't make them stuck up or anything
That was a nice thing you did for this man who just lost his wife, I bet he was super grateful for your kindness….. great job AL, you truly are an Angel
Al, you sir are a damn good man. This episode made me cry. This country needs more people like you. Thank you and your family that raised you to be suck a good person.
All I can say is Go Bless You AL! May everyone care as much as you do for our Brothers & Sisters. You make such a positive difference in folk's lives. We must continue to support, uplift, inspire, love, and encourage each other. 🏆💚🎉😁🔥🔥🔥🙌 Giving thanks.
You honestly never know what people are going through. I believe that simple grass cutting might have changed his whole world. Terrible feeling when you feel the whole world on your shoulders. Thank you Al for being that bright light
God bless you, Al. What impresses the most is the fact that the neighbors know he's going through some stuff, but no one steps up to help. There's a special place in heaven for you, Al.
Can you imagine the relief this man felt when he came home. One less thing to tackle while on time off. Al.. you just freed up 3 days for this man to do other stuff. Bless you!
It makes me so sad that this neighborhood would not come to help him out. It tells us how much others just don't seem to care. If they can't help out they should not complain. God bless you Al. Great job. God bless
Al, your work is commendable. This man is obviously overwhelmed and grieving over his deceased wife. Your acts of kindness and compassion will definitely earn you gold stars in heaven. Keep up the great work and kudos to you.
A beautiful job for a man that is grieving for his wife. Nothing like the neighbors stepping forward to help him out. I'm glad he's giving you permission to do the backyard, that way when he has time off he can try to unwind and relax. I've been in those shoes, lost my husband who was a disabled veteran. You never get over the loss, you just learn to live with it, so my heart goes out to this wonderful man, just trying to go on with his life, and my love goes out to you Al, for helping people like him out. There's a special place for people like you !!!
Our love goes out to you. I am also a veteran's widow. People like us and all of Al's fans appreciate love and kindness. We are blessed to know this young man. My best to you ❤️
I'm 50, I've been trying to keep up with my moms yard by myself for the last three years since my dad passed. Its hard and I fear I'm losing the battle.. Wished there were ppl like you where I live
Every single time I'm ready to give up on humanity, someone like Al does something really cool! I believe that the help that Ron received that day was just the push he needed to get on to that road to recovery and healing! God Bless you Al! I sometimes wonder if you ever really realize how much of a blessing you are to those on need! 🙏🏾
I don't understand neighbors especially when they know the circumstances. People used to help each other. Great job Al. You show God's love in a real way.😊😊
What gets me is your integrity and 100% commitment to detail and also the fact you help the community in a very mentally therapeutic way. Stay Blessed Mr Bladez ❤️🙏
Looks like one of the neighbors is sitting across the street in a lawn chair watching AL do the work. What a shame. They knew he'd just lost his wife but didn't go over and cut the grass to help him out. Thank God for people like AL. You are a special person Mr. B. Thanks for your huge heart!!
He's right. wWorking 6 days a week leaves you exhausted, no energy to take care of anything but meals and clothes. And sleep. To begin the exhausting cycle again Monday morning. Think what a load off his heart to walk out and see his yard looking so nice! You did well today ❤️
I don't feel like doing my yard work is exhausting but I'm not in the middle of mourning the loss of my wife like he probably still is. I feel like doing yard work is cathartic & satisfying & basking in the end product is like the icing on top of the cake. I'd hate to be one of those people that finds doing their yard work as hard work, especially since I own & maintain 3 properties the size of his.
My husband does our yard,I am not able, When he was seriously injured at work and couldn't mow for a few weeks neighbors took over, we were so touched. I love what you do
What a blessing!! Neighbor was aware of this man's situation, but didn't offer any kind of aid, only criticism. How sad! Thanks for helping him. Yard looks really great and I can't wait to see it all complete😊
This was another awesome transformation of this yard. Ron is so appreciative of you cutting this for him. The neighbors and community are happy as well. Thanks all for your generosity and continued help in the community. Blessings to you. P.S. That backyard is a beast!! Please wear your gloves when picking up anything when you cut the backyard😊
This is your best, because that man needed kindness and love. I was in tears listening to him talk about his long hours of work and caring for his wife of 42 years. You made his life easier, and on his vacation he can focus on other things. You’re a kind soul.
Thanks so much for helping this man Al. He’s definitely going through a lot at this time. You’re definitely a blessing to so many people. Looking forward to seeing the results of the back yard.💯💜✝️🙏🏾🇺🇸
He was so very appreciative. Never know if or when help will arrive. So glad for him, you chose this yard, Al. Even when a spouse is ill, one is not ever ready if/when something will happen. Ones entire life changes. Dealing with the loss and not knowing really, how to handle it. Almost like being on automatic, trying to keep moving forward. Even guilt, why not myself, instead of my spouse? Looking forward to seeing this backyard done. Just knowing what a relief it will provide to him. Your kindness is very much appreciated by all who view your videos. ♥️👍👍👍👍♥️
Oh Al, that was awesome! That sweet man was so grateful for what you did. He is trying to start living again, and it’s gonna be hard. He lost part of himself, and now he has to learn to live all over again. Grief steals your energy. You have given him a wonderful gift. I’m sure he’s gonna keep it up now. You did such a great job. Those edges hadn’t been done in a while, and they made such a huge difference. I cannot wait for the backyard video! Bless you, Al, and your sweet family. Stay safe out there! ❤️
Thank you, Al, for extending your hand to this darling man. He was married to his wife 42 years and took care of her through illness her last four on Earth. Works 60 hours a week. THANK YOU. YOUR BLESSINGS LANDED RIGHT.

Youre a hard worker with a big heart. Older folks know the humility and frustration of not being able to do this work. That in itself is hard to take...then to have some like this guy....Someone said it....HEAVEN SENT! BLESS YOU YOUNG MAN!
Bless him, Ron has been through a really rough 4 years, now has to cope with life without his wife. Once again you found someone who really needed your help, Al 👍🏻🙏🏻
Dude you are THE MAN! More of us need to be like you . God loves you and we do to dont ever change your one of the few good men left in this broken selfish disgusting world. You rock!
This guy is the real deal. He could have called it "good enough" as soon as it started to thunder but stayed committed to finishing the job. AWESOME JOB, AL. Can't wait to see the back yard transformation.
Aren't you a blessing in this man's life!!! I must say I have been having physical issues and my new neighbors (only been here two months) have kept up my yard, trimmed trees, etc. I am sorry that this home owner doesn't have wonderful neighbors as I have. Here comes All to the rescue!! You are Wonderful Al!!!
Another success! I cannot wait to see the backyard tamed, and a look of the entire property. All power to you, Al. I really feel for that gentleman. In a positive sense, he is continuing living his life. However working those kind of hours makes it difficult to find the energy to keep up the yard maintenance.
You are a beautiful blessing Sir. He is probably swallowed in grief, i know my Daddy is after my momma passed away. It took a long time for him to come out for air. Still today ten years later he is struggling.
I hope your TH-cam channel breaks the million subs soon. You deserve it, it is a great business model. Helping people without judging. The world needs this instead of the spectator political hate show. This guy just might of recieved the catch up he needed to feel hopeful again because of you and all your subscribers. Thank you, kindness is contagious.
That was amazing, I can just imagine you may have saved more than a backyard. Ron sounded like he had the world on his shoulders and your kindness was probably the best medicine for a broken heart! Awesome, I can't wait for the backyard 🌻💕
I would have loved to have seen this guys face when he drove in and wondered if he'd turned into the right house. He'll love his backyard when you're finished. We will too!
Watching you work is so relaxing, sounds weird but true, and watching it sped up is even better. Thank You for what you do, I am disabled and it is hard to do my yard, we need more people in the World like you, keep going!
I love watching him! He has a big heart and he’s fun to listen to. A fun guy! Four years of being a caregiver, then the trauma of this huge loss, can stop anyone! Hope this jump starts this guy and can take care of himself and his home.
Holy crap...😂 The weather was crazy. Beautiful job! So happy you were able to Bless Ron. Very sad to lose a spouse after so many years together...but after four years of her suffering, it was probably a blessing to know she's not suffering anymore.❤
I'm disgusted with his neighbours for not helping this guy out, but this guy bless his heart he did a great job for this man, well done young man , I wish we had someone like you in the UK.❤👍👍
Kindness especially unexpected when your just trying to keep going after a loss is a lovely thing Al 🙏 You took a huge weight off his shoulders. Now he can try to grieve his wife's passing. May she rest in peace.
Sometimes a person just needs a little "boost/push" to go on, to move forward, in this life. And sometimes a person looks to animals to help get them through a rough patch. And Al, even a kind stranger just might be that one who makes a difference. Thank you, Al.
Someone I didn't even know mowed my lawn for free when my son died. It meant so much to me. Thank you for what you do.

Hello Brenda how are you doing today 😊
Wow, her words about him/his yard. Knowing his circumstances. Just wow! Step up, if no one in the neighborhood can or wont, take a collection and hire someone to help the poor man out. Give the gift of caring for a neighbor.
Right that neighbor was all like " his wife just died ugh when is he going to mow his lawn"?😢
I'm not a religious person, but there's a special place in heaven for you Al.

It amazes me how people always question stuff... but never want to help! 😊
Awesome
God Bless you both!
My parents neighbors brought good, mowed the lawn, brought mom new pj'. They were a blessing.
Sadly the days of good neighbors has passed to a generation of selfishness and disdain for others.

We're gonna Bring It Back!!
Whatever is done in love is never wasted !
We all need to be a good neighbor wherever and whenever we can .:)
The neighbors should be ashamed of themselves for not helping him out in his time of need shame on you. Terrific job as always Al. ❤
You are so right
I mean they probably figure he has 4 vehicles in his driveway but he can’t afford to landscape his yard? Losing someone is never good but he obviously has the means.
Totally agree!!😊
I was wondering who was gonna comment on that.👏🏾 Thank you so much for taking notice of such.

I’m also a widow.
Oh man... I know exactly how that guy felt rolling up and seeing it done... one less stress removed off his shoulders. Al you are a great person!
You know, every day he would say, "I need to do this and being so mentally and physically tired". The neighbors are heartless.
You did the right thing, man. I lost my wife in 2003 and it is SO HARD to just put one foot in front of the other and keep going. All good wishes.
Sorry for your loss! Lost my hubby in 2010. It's hard to get over for sure.

Different for everyone dealing with loss. I am sorry for your loss.

God bless you. I'm so sorry for your loss.

You do. Check out Flawless Cleaning. They are amazing and help people for free. One of my favorite channels.
You're a good dude Al! Poor guy, needed that chat as much of the cut!
Kindness especially unexpected when your just trying to keep going after a loss is a lovely thing Al 🙏
You took a huge weight off his shoulders.
