Guinea-Bissau didn’t get independence from Portugal. Guinea-Bissau is free. Portuguese colonial power was kicked out of Guinea-Bissau.
I was meaning, Embassy, buildings, influence, etc. But if you say kicked out ok.
Portugal granted full independence to Guinea-Bissau on September 10, 1974, after 111⁄2 years of armed conflict.
