This year the election reminds me of when I was a boy waiting for Christmas. I had ask for BB gun, as Christmas grew closier so did my anticipation. I knew the reality about Santa, my widowed mother worked hard as a waitress and normally things were lean. She used tip money to put the gifts under the tree. I wonder was she able to afford that BB gun. Christmas morning at 4 AM I snuck down to look under the tree like polling shape of packages would tell the story. There it was that long package, back to bed till Mum got up. When I heard her going down stairs my younger brother's and I flew down the steps. They each got the Tonka truck they wanted, great my turn I opened that package and to my sad surprise a plastic gun that shot rubber style bbs. I tried not to look disappointed and Mum knew and said maybe next Christmas Santa could afford that Daisy BB gun I wanted. This is our only year there is no next year. BTW the next year Santa and Mum came through I got that Daisy BB gun. Fight, Fight, Fight we can't wait, it's now or hand it over to the Communist.
