I had a suit made in Sukhumvit Road about 8 years ago. It was less than £150 UK.
How has it held up? Was it high quality?
I like how these guys weren’t pushy and they were on a side street. Some of those Indian suit tailor’s are relentless, they won’t leave you alone! I realize it’s a good deal for these suits, but trying on a suit in that warm humidity is the last thing I wanna do! 🔥
Yeah thats why i choose these guys after reading the google reviews, BKK is full of suit cowboys you just have to do the homework. It's way to hot man i 100% agree, unless you work in aircon all day and don't leave lol
You look great, suit looks fantastic. I also love the professionalism and efficiency of Jay and Dave's business. I had a couple suits made in Pattaya a few years ago, and they're the best suits I've ever owned.

Just an FYI, that pattern for the lining is called Herringbone. I prefer herringbone for shits and pure silk for my linings.

A black woollen suit is just what you need in Thailand.
I usually get mine from a place in Nana where staff, VIPs included, from the various embassies go. price is similar. And they throw in a beer.
Good tailor you paid that kinda of money because of the fabric for sure. Looks like a good fit from here. That was my job in America for 14 years fitting suits and making custom suites for Nordstrom. ❤🙏🙏🙏🙏 once again good fabric

Jonny - I'm a little confused. I know that there are not as many suit shops in Hua Hin as there previously was, but why are you getting a suit made in BKK rather than HH - where they could take more time to make the suit?
Hope you don’t mind an off topic question? I wasn’t sure how else to contact you. How is the water play there for Songkran? It’s too much here in Pattaya and probably added days this year. I was thinking of heading to Hua Hin to getaway if it’s more mellow there.

A bag of fruit and beer.. how good is Thai.. fkn gold ❤.. i went to a wedding in khon Kaen and it was a cowboy themed wedding.. so go to Phuket central and try shopping lol I’m 6.2 and 110 😂i managed to find a pair of stretch pants and a flano shirt but couldn’t button it up and a hat.. get to the wedding my friend is marrying a famous surgeon.. 2nd wedding event? .. I’ve rocked up like a cowboy and everyone else is in suits 😂.. the cowboy thing was just a selfie thing hahaha but the husband barred everyone else to take the first pics with me… haha ❤
i will look them up next time. Problem is that Thailand is so hot. Cant even think of a suit in that heat. But its about time i got a new one.

Maybe it was the camera angle or lighting, but the arms on the suit just looked a bit too baggy. If I'm wrong, then yeah, mighty fine suit.

Thanks Mick, It's best to go for a cashmere wool mate than say a cheaper polyester blend, wool is a much more breathable fabric. Hope you are well buddy :-)
