That's actually impressive for an absurdly low-budget exploitation movie, especially for one starring the too-handsome-for-reality Belial.
I watched this movie for the first time online and the intro mentioned it being in the MOMA. I seriously doubted it at first but after watching it I definitely consider it modern day art.
To quote James Rolfe of Cinemassacre, "Finding this movie is like finding a dead frog stuck to the tire of a car, it's putrid and disgusting, but it's such an amazingly spectacular mess that you can't look away."
Watching this is a lot like watching 'The Blues Brothers' if you're from Chicago. Such a time capsule of a version of the city long gone. Great Kill Count, James!

I just love how these lowbudget movies seem to, quite often, be full of people who just has a lot of fun, doing movie stuff. Sometimes acting, sometimes doing effects, all sorts of different shit.

For over 30 years I remembered watching a movie about a goblin hanging a dude from either a street lamp or sign, I had no idea what it’s name was until I watched your kill count. Thank you so much for bringing back part of my childhood.

Actually... This whole premice is hella cool. I love the cast and the generic acting. I wish that the writing was more sponsored and had more money but just keep the same actors it's very cool.
I think perhaps Belial is one of the most creative, original, and unique horror movie monsters. I can't think of really any other monster in horror like him.
One month late and apologies for the reply. But not only is Belial unique, I think he actually inspired a monster/killer. That backstory and screech and way of murdering people reminds me of Victor Deshayes, ie one of the Twins from DBD

I think perhaps Belial is one of the most creative, original, and unique horror movie monsters. I can't think of really any other monster in horror like him.
One month late and apologies for the reply. But not only is Belial unique, I think he actually inspired a monster/killer. That backstory and screech and way of murdering people reminds me of Victor Deshayes, ie one of the Twins from DBD
@@FinestFantasyVI Belial probably did, he is so utterly unique that despite the movie having the major movie hampering flaw of not having anywhere near a big enough budget, he is deeply influential.
