When you treat this game like a simulator, it's an awesome game. If you play it like it's GTA you will hate it. People complain about physics it's because they're abusing the simulator. At first I had a hard time loading pallets into my semi trailer, but once you realize that the best is to go gently (like in real situation) its way more fun....
So it's ok that my harvester fell through the map? Because that happens in your world?

@@PhuVet While thats not okay as bug. Yes that does happen in real world sort of? Sink holes, ground above aquafers collapse earthquakes etc.
Seriously though sorry that happened to you it is frustrating. Did you use debug mode to fix it
Super realistic that My truck and trailer flips while going 15kph right
I did this in FS19, and when I started this same map, there was a wood chipper on the property, which is how I sold my wood. I also did a vintage type start, so I had an early 1900's Massey Ferguson tractor with about 10HP or so. It could pull small tools to turn a crop and even had a limited front loader. I had a very small trailer as well and that was it. Chopping down trees and lugging them back to the chipper, which was right next to the silo was a chore. Hauling crops and such to the sell point at the shop took forever, since the top speed of the tractor with no load was about 13mph.
I agree with you though, there's pretty much no way to earn any money unless there is a place to sell your lumber.
I've been waiting for something like this. So excited to see more. You should put in an old mom and pops restaurant. My parents run a ranch and I've always waited to open a restaurant and have them as my meat supplier and local farms for my produce. I'm really big on supporting local businesses. Maybe in the future when you get animals the local restaurant can give you deals on produce.

The biomass owner told me someone decided to brave no mans land and started chopping down all the trees around the old farm stead. Ive been looking to expand my funiture company and with a supply of wood i think i oughta head your way. Great job as always farmer cop cant wait to see how this all turns out

Hi Farmer Cop, That was fun, and a novel approach to a survival let's play.
I would like to own a small sawmill. My Father and Grandfather used to own a family sawmill, which I was set to inherit in Western Tasmania. I still remember sitting on Grandpa's knee and hearing stories about the early days, when his Father worked him really hard and kept him out of school. I used to love helping out around the mill after school and on holidays, the sounds and smells of a working Sawmill are still very evocative for me.
Dad arranged his work so that the heavy stuff was mostly done before I got home from school. I was allowed to come down there after school, with Mum to watch me, until they were sure I would do what I was told. By the age of ten I was able to actually help and be useful. I saw a few workers get injured, so I knew that the work is dangerous.
When I was 16, Dad got badly injured. I wanted to leave school and get to work but he insisted that I stay. So I did Ag College/Forestry. However the 'friends and relatives' Dad hired to work the mill, ripped him off. We lost the business before I was old enough to take over.
If you use my story, and if it suits you, please put up a sign naming the Sawmill "Weffrey's". That was my skydiving nickname.

The first time I played FS22 was right after the Platinum expansion and my first map was Silvercreek. I came to the game after watching a bunch of play through like yours and wanted it to be as close to reality as possible. I bought a plot of forested land and bought the basics to cut trees and sell them. Oh my gosh! I got so annoyed by the tedious work of getting the trees out of the forest using a tractor and a log puller, then cut them, load them in a log trailer using a front loader attachment, then deliever it. It took forever to load just one trailer! It took me days in real life to have a plot of land large enough to start cultivating. I swapped to an auto loader, but eventually, I just started to abuse the Super Strenght mode.
Don't use super strength just use the lumberjack mod and you double click left Alt to turn it on
For whatever reason it would not toggle, I know it should when you click left ALT but it would not for me
@@FarmerCop super strenght works for me but not the stump removal with chainsaw 😂
@@FarmerCop So the super strength option in Lumberjack is a toggle - double tap left ALT to turn on, double tap left ALT to turn off. Stump removal with the chainsaw only works with SS is turned on, though. I should add, the SS setting resets to off when reloading the game as well.

Not going to lie. Very pleased to be able to join this from Day 1 and not have to spend so long trying to catch up!!
A gas station, train station, or both could make sense, especially if you built a back road or rail line running by the edge of the map. That way you could RP that this is just an unused area along a route that was abandoned in the 60s or something like that. Maybe the gas station guy is even making biodiesel or some other fuel. Or something illegal, which is why he lives out here.
I updated my game yesterday for the ps4 and in the mod hub low and behold no man's land. I was so happy I farmed for two hours lol. Keep up the great work buddy and enjoy your farming fc.
Great start FarmerCop. I use lumberjack mod alot, i do not have super strength on. If you cut a tree with lumberjack mod off it will still recognize the stump to cut. Just turn it on when you need to move the tree.
Size and/or weight of trees matter, you can literally just make 2ft long rounds and load up the truck with huge pile if your placement is good, and make thousands per load with just the pickup...

Hmmmm, perhaps a title loan company would be a good business idea for that area, lots of valuable farm vehicles to collect if a loan isn't repaid ;P
You can sell wood by the container next to the shop. Pull over the dump site and there is an exclamation point there to use to sell mood so you don't have to use any placeables or take out a loan

Farmer Cop, I had to get rid of Lumberjack also. It was somehow interacting with the Easy Development Controls Super Strength feature. By getting rid of it, the Super Strength in Easy Dev Controls worked fine. Your not the only one.
Looks like you need the update map however not sure if wood sells anyway at the farmshop but wood chips do so you may need a wood chipper

Cut down bigger trees and then cut those into manageable chunks. Big fat rounds will sell for more than those toothpicks 🤣! Love the video man

Hey I haven't played this game for long so you are helping me with figuring out how to do this kind of stuff and how to make money so keep it up
Ok so Lumberjack mod, when you have the issue of the left click not working, it for some reason changes the "use tool" key to X on your keyboard, as for the wood, should of gotten a saw mill (which makes sense for the NML map tbh) and convert the wood to planks, you just need a way to load the pallets in the truck, a good way to RP that if u want is to either buy or lease a fork lift but only use it at the saw mill and pretend that its actually the saw mills forklift as they would have their own equipment for loading and unloading trucks. Sorry for the long post here's a smiley face :)

I live out in the country in southern Georgia. I’d love to have a cotton gin in your gameplay. It’s a place you take your harvested cotton to have it cleaned and the seeds separated from the fluff.

I had this marked on my phone calendar i was anticipating this so much. This is exactly what i was expecting/hoping for out of a fc nml episode! 😂 also ive turned 30yrs this year and have been a diesel repair technician for 12 years now and my wife and i were thinking about opening up our own repair shop/used equipment sales shop in copper springs so be sure to let me know if you come across any shops for lease around there!
Business idea- Theres a guy named todd coming into town to to try to start a small equipment dealership... his family owned one in North Carolina but they went bankrupt and now its just todd out on his own. Todd has a variety of different brands of equipment, he has 30,000 in the bank and needs money. So he now has a dealership in a small town/area known as no mans land. He needs a variety of small trees and big trees as building supplies and heard your the man to talk to. I hope you make something good out of my creative mind and i will continue to give you ides if you like mine, as always good job have a good day and ill see ya next time keep up the good work.

Lease the yellow conveyor belt, place it so you can climb on top of the shop and get the collectables. Easy money, you can repay the loan and start your farming adventure 🙂

Base game tree chopping is glitchy - may not be a problem with the lumberjack mod. LJ mod has 2 settings for superstrength - on with left alt, or always on - you might have hit the always on button.
It still glitches… unfortunately

I added a small chicken coop. Next step is a carpentry shop. Fits the story line of a guy in the woods making things to sell off the land.

I hope everyone knows on No mans land to climb on top of the shop and collect the 20 game cartridges... easy million dollar's. Lease a telehandler long enough to walk up the boom to get on the roof . Your welcome
The lumberjack mod is great, loved it in 19 but its not as good now. The only thing is you need to toggle it off to use a saw
Go to plot 33 bc there is an old barn there and another field with grape vines or something there and the barn on plot 33 will help too

But it would be fun if I could have a vintage machine dealership and repair store.
The reason is I love repairing old machines and see other people using these old machines instead of new ones and I moved out too no man lands to start a business and hope other folks move out there too and enjoy the fresh free lands.

FC I am so happy you gonna start again on no man's land.. the sawmill is back now maybe better than the biomes plant? I think also you need to do more with your wood than only selling it and think you need some animal s for your food. Maybe some greenhouse for your vegetable. There is no grocery's store there yet😉😉

For roleplay you should call the animal dealer Chris P. Bacon.
you could do missions to start and burrow equipment problem is your on no mans land so missions i dont think are present on that. start from zero with a maximum limit preset of your choosing maybe 50k or so like a loan in real life.
You can also cut grass to make hay and/or silage bales as a supplement to harvesting the trees.
8:27 you had the first log tied down and the tie was holding the second log up thats why it wouldn't sit flat

Great video - looking forward to the next one. A bit of constructive criticism - the parts where you're running through the woods cutting trees are a bit hard to watch due to the pixilation going on. Not sure if it's your video rendering software or maybe your GPU falling behind but a bit annoying. Other than that, another awesome video and SUPER engaging, well done!

Farmer Cup if you use the oil seed radish it will help your crops grow faster after you planted and cultivated the field do not plow it place your seed on top of it and you'll have a better crop
Hayyy I'm not the only one who drastically over loads the starting truck and flips it like a craby patty.
You go to the shop its the first sell point park your trailer and walk to the right, youll see the small building with icon sell your logs or trees.

Usually you hit the "L" key at least on PC and it activates your straps when you are in the cab of your vehicle, you can go up to each strap individually outside of the cab for whatever vehicle it is an activate them each one at a time

I’m really enjoying this series. Got a question for ya. How did you get the lady behind the counter at the store? I don’t remember seeing her before. Btw, the longer and straighter the log is, the more money you make. Size as far as width goes, of course plays a huge part as well.

How do hold the logs so level while loading them. Any tips? The loading is rough for me
Recently moved in from Finland and noticed a lack of husbandry in the area. I was a 5th generation smoked sausage store owner, but I went bankrupt once chain grocery stores moved into my home town. I am looking forward to opening my own shop here, would you be able to bring me ten pigs, around 30 months old?
NML has an update that fixes the lack of selling points for things like the wood.
just a tip when selling wood/trees the best length is 6 meter logs.
I find that lumberjack isn't great right now. With stumps cut a little higher than you would normally would.
I really wanna see some skid steer usage I’ve been using them and they are so handy and honestly pretty cheap, they have stump grinders and tree cutters and all sorts of attachments for them and they turn on a dime.
Yeah they come in handy, i like them. Plus as you mention, they can be cheap too especially if you find a used one.
@@GulfCoastTim even brand new they’re cheap, they were the cheapest vanilla loader in fs19, in this game that very small loader is cheaper now but not nearly as good.
How did you load all the assets that were initially missing i.e. shed, house, fencing? Every time I load up the map they're never there

Did you place the buildings yourself or did you load something diffrent?? mine do not have any.

Money lost?: You lost money cause your chainsaw uses fuel.
Best log size: To get the best Price at the heating-plant, you should deliver logs between 8-10 meters , everyting less or more will give you less money per kilo.
Collectibles: All collectibles are on the roof of the trader. 15 of them, for 50.000 each.
What to do in this lets play: If you want to use the Sales-side .... i would recommend to let this side decide what to do ( Cheap seeder or harvester -> farming , cheap mower or balewraper -> silage, cheap potatoe planter -> potatoes ... )
I would recommend making wood chips as soon as you can because they are way more profitable. Maybe someone can make a business idea out of this

Buisness idea a small fruit stand. But they also need a perminant grape supppier. They’ll pay an extra 1000 per 3000 liters on top of the profit but will only buy 40000 liters a year

Yo fc maybe a great idea to own at a moment 2 farms not in multiplayer but 2 yards 1 the thing you are playing on right know and expand that and maybe expand the grape farm with grape and olive cus it is between Spain and France there is a lot of grapes especially

I like that channel called farmer cop
for the chainsaw to activate if you have super strength is enabled, you have to look away from anything that you can pick up, then take out the chainsaw then itll work @Farmer Cop
Also, no mans land had an update where the trigger to sell wood is on the pallets sellpoint
A little bird told me that the area around no mans land could use a local bakery needing standard grains to produce goods for the village in the area maybe one could open soon!
