How long does it take to get use to? I just bought an mmo mouse today, and initially, I'm struggling. But also didn't think about visually separating my spells like this. I was use to my old mouse which only had like the 2 half buttons on the side, and I used for tab targeting. So now trying to figure out an easy way to tab target since I always try attacking dead enemies lol

Got my MMO mouse and set up my hotbars like yours and I love it. I don't know why I didn't get one sooner. I have small hands so it was difficult to have comfortable key bindings for all my abilities and my hand would cramp up after several hours.

I was screwing around with making custom Marco's in WoW for holding down shift/control and then manually typing them out for each spell, each class, or using the third party mouse software which I always was scared of getting banned for, but this bartender is GREAT! Solves ALL my problems and makes it really intiuitive and easy to use! THANKS!

Very good advice for anyone starting out. Spend $120 on a good mmo mouse and never look back. It will take a while to get used to but once you do, you'll never go back. is it possible to have keyboard bound to 1, 2, 3, 4.... and use the number buttons on the mouse for different bindings without having to use shift? I was able to do this with my old razer naga using the razer addon, but since the removal of the "num" and "123" switch on the bottom I cannot seem to figure out if this is possible. How do you turn your camera without accidently hitting a side button and blowing some important cool down? The thumb is a main anchor point for lifting and moving the mouse. It's always given me problems when using a 12 button mouse.
Relax the hand while playing, and don't grip it like you are lifting a 1kg rock off of the table. 🙂 And also don't put important CDs on the main buttons. Instead add a modifier like holding down Shift or Ctrl. I have my non-CD spells on the default number keys, and haven't tried miss-clicking yet, but I think it also depends on the type of mouse you have. My Corsair mouse is quite hard to miss-click with, but my Razer Naga is more round and "bloated" in it's design, so it's easier to miss-click with.
dont know why i clicked the video since i been using a mmo mouse since lich king days. but ill tell any one who is just starting to get into mmo and is wondering if they should dps on the mouse or keyboard. depends the main reason i dps on my mouse is to avoid carpal tunnel. i never had a problem with it thank god. i 100% would recommend the corsair mouse but dont expect it to last more then 2 years sadly mouse wheel and double click issues happen around that time.
I have thr g600 mouse but they no longer make those. I need a new mouse. I gotten used to the gshift button....i cant see myself clickin the keyboard for shift buttons. Ugh
hey quick feedback: when setting up the action bar this way it completely blocks out the sanity meter inside the 8.3 visions. i had to readjust it twice during visions. once in the room before entering where you can view the map of the vision. then again when i was inside the vision because the sanity bar move up a bit.. pretty annoying lol
All the MMO mice I have had, has had that issue. So it's not specific to this Corsair one. 🙂 The trick is to not tense up in your hand and grip it, like you are grapping onto a baseball, when you move the mouse. Just keep your hand relaxed.
I have my E and Q buttons set up the same way where I also his shift+E and shift+Q similarly. Also R is my ground mount and Shift+R is my air mount. How about yall?
You need to download iCUE and set up the side buttons on the mouse in it. One of the downsides to Corsairs mice since iCUE require a tutorial guide to understand.
Man, you look like Elon Musk twin. Really cool setup with the key binds. The space bar one I just never saw that one coming. I’ll have to give the idea of the setup a try. I have a new MMO mouse, the problem I find is the button keys are so small, I end up pressing the wrong key next to it. A bigger mmo mouse would be better. Thanks :) In my experience... The Corsair products rarely break and last MUCH longer than other brands. And they feel more expensive (not as plastic), so the Corsair Scimitar is my top MMO mouse. It just has amazing quality, however it has a single downside which is that the #1 key on the side is a bit too close to the desk, which isn't too much of a problem since you quickly get used to it, but at the start you will notice it. Then there is the Razer Naga Trinity. Razer in general spend much more money on marketing than any other brands, which means that most gamers buy their gaming equipment. When it comes to their MMO mice, their Razer Naga Trinity is most popular and probably the mouse I see most MMO gamers use. HOWEVER in my experience Razer gear breaks VERY fast... I have owned 2 keyboards and 4 mice from Razer, and half of them broke within a year (and I treat my equipment well). My fiance got herself a Razer Naga Trinity last year, and even though she rarely uses it, it now double clicks whenever she presses the left mouse button once... These are the type of quality you should expect from Razer AND their gear feels VERY plastic and cheap.... Yes I am not a fan of them hehe.

@@BaraPersson Im sure there's a way but every mouse is different. I know on my mouse there's a physical switch that says numlock on it and you switch it over to that. If not that maybe in the programming settings?
I have a question, i'm assuming you end up remembering what spells go for which buttons xD? Because I don't see any button icon layout showing. I end up ordering the same mouse tonight on Amazon to hopefully get use to it because I notice i struggle pushing the right spells.
After using a MMO mouse for a few days you will ask yourself why you didn’t use it sooner hehe. It will be much easier for you. And yes you will remember the buttons the more you play. I highly recommend installing the Bartender4 addon if you are going to use an MMO mouse.

The Elite has 18k dpi and the Pro has 16k but other then that they appear to be the same. I ended up going with Razer Naga Trinity just figure no sense in having 2 driver software since I have the Tartarus V2

Be aware it takes a long time to get use to an MMO mouse especially if your a healer but is is so worth it if and I mean IF you can get use to it and develope the insane amount of muscle memory needed.
Back in vanina wow I was using this kind of set up and ppl laugh at me as " keyboard turner" so I got used to use mouse for movements mainly. Now youtube wants me to go back to keyboard movement set up by throwing this video up my face...man! I don't know what is the right way to play wow anymore...

The Corsair Scimitar is one of the biggest pieces of shit I ever purchased. Changing the function of the side buttons is so bad, that I can't believe it made it out the door. Contrast that with the Razer Naga I purchased, which is wireless and changing the functions of the buttons is one click.
that's how i thought of using mine naturally.. but stuff get too complicated quite easily that way, especially for me as an enhance shaman in wotlk/cata

I used to have the razer Naga and it was pretty much plug in and play it recognised Number 1-12 as just another way of pressing 1-12 on my keyboard, but recently I switched to a Corsair scimitar pro and it is just a train wreck... It thinks 7 is Q it thinks 8 is R and so on.. I even went into the the Corsair software and rebinded them and it worked for a little bit but then went back to the same crap so so annoying time to go back to Naga

Like many I have a unique set up. You see, I never used AWSD for movements. so I use all keyboard keys for spells, except the space bar, believe it or not, i use my space bar for moving forward, while using the the mouse to turn and I use the thumb on the mouse side keys to strife left or right. I use all the buttons i can reach with my left hand and with the mouse I and have an alt key to double the use of the keyboard. This way i can always have my left hand free for spells, never for using alt or for movement, except my left hand thumb on my space bar for moving forward. Awkward but ones you have a custom set up, it is always easier for you, as you have never done anything different. You have so many more buttons on your keyboard, why would you use your keyboard for mainly movement, it makes it difficult to use so many other of your keyboard keys at any given time your moving around.

You can configure how many rows are in each bar and also move them around. Bartender has a ton of settings for each bar

so, you can install another addon,' move anything'. Legit lets you move any bar, window or frame

Looks good, pity I cant get my scimitar to recognise the numbers.. mapping or remap the number keys to the mouse simply isnt working using Icue.
I just bought one, im seeing that there isn't a way unless you have f-13-26 or something. Maybe the coursair keyboard fixes it?

You can change your mouse buttons to numlock numbers and it will be a whole new set of keybinds.

I use all the buttons i can reach with my left hand and with the mouse I and have an alt key to double the use of the keyboard. This way i can always have my left hand free for spells, never for using alt or for movement, except my left hand thumb on my space bar for moving forward. Awkward but ones you have a custom set up, it is always easier for you, as you have never done anything different.
You have so many more buttons on your keyboard, why would you use your keyboard for mainly movement, it makes it difficult to use so many other of your keyboard keys at any given time your moving around.
