Repaired HO Brass Southern Pacific AC-9 GILA Monster

Recently I repaired this HO scale brass Southern Pacific AC-9 aka The GILA Monster ! Made by KTM some 40 years ago. Enjoy the run by testing.

Yes, all brass. Don’t know what it weighs, but you notice it’s weight compared to most engines that’s for sure

It's not backwards, this isn't the Cab Forward model, that would be an AC-5 (generally)

gWebberArts .....it looks very much like a cab forward. Please accept my apologies. I have a Rivarossi AC12 and it looks very very close

Alco Power yes, I’ve seen your videos of your AC12 .. both engines have many similarities, except the actual cab location. Not had to be confused by them 😁👍
