The Septim Dynasty is full of grand & fascinating individuals. It is a little hard to believe that the first 4 main ES games only involve 1.01 of them. (Martin is the .01 because he was only officially the Emperor for about a few minutes). I wonder if we'll ever get any spinoffs akin to _The Elder Scrolls: Redguard_ for these various figures and events. Splendid video, I shall await for part 2 of this when it is presented.
Quite sad how it always came down to only Uriel Septim VII, considering how a large part of the Septim Emperors went through so many rebellions. The next part of this series displays just how much of a threat the Elder Council was to the well being of some of the later Emperors, which was all started by Pelagius Septim II. I really hope spin off games take note of these Emperors and try to expand upon it. Thanks for the comment, new part should be up sometime next week!
Amound Motierre in Skyrim mentions that Pelagius was assassinated because many in the empire, particularly the Elder Council, wanted changes. I wonder what the reasoning was
Interesting. However, the Council members were in most cases empowered by their wealth and thus wanted changes that benefited them individually, so we won't know if these were necessary changes for citizens. Thank you for the comment!
