The April run will likely stall short of all time highs around 455-460 on major resistance, before tanking back down to 420's in May. then I can see a run back up to 500+ through the summer
knowing the longer term trend.. should make it easier for shorter term trading
@@davidkayser5430 yh, that is why it is very important to choose stocks you will invest in. Invest wisely either for short term or long term.
@@davidkayser5430 2022 is going to be the best year for all investors. soon the market will sky rock.. i invested
@@ruzunasaben7658 I still don't understand the market. we buy then we sell then we buy.. should we sell now? am new to the market. Isn't it cheaper to just hold and accumulate?pls, do you work with an expert? if yes, how do i reach the expert that assists you?
0:52 so it is 12 credits? meaning you can take just this one class and you are already a full time student?
Excellent video...well explained and very simple to follow and learn. Thank you.
49:46 this is interesting i choose choice b first time and choice a second time. My reasoning is if I’m going to take as risk to win big and probability is in my side why not
So amazing that we have this kind of knowledge available at our fingertips.
Capitalism providing top free content in the most effective and accessible way. Gotta love it.
crypto is disturbing the stock market
@@MaghoxFr To bluntly state that "capitalism" is the reason we have access to stream such quality educational content at such a *low cost from MIT is much to black & white from my experience. There are SO MANY VARIABLES you have to look at & a key one that would factor in could work in favor of pure altruism. I find the pendulum always finds its balance though.
*by either watching commercials/letting them mine your data/paying $11.99 per month to TH-cam +/&/or pay directly to content creators that do the hard work for us/patreon/etc
This isn't the Wok shop? I was looking for fried rice recipes

Cant thanks enough this channel team and lecturer.
My class is off due to corona. So i am here trying to utilise my time. Grateful 😇
I have little grounding in Math (work in the medical field) - is this series suitable for people without a math background?
Thanks mit for giving us quality and deep knowledge about finance
I appreciate having 2 different camera angles👌🏼
If you were looking to do a start-up (business) what do you think is a good problem to solve ( product/service/solution for a market)?
lol think of your own shit
Thanks so much MIT for making this quality education available for everyone
For the first time I watched something straight for 1 hr. What a great university!
Doesn’t seem to be a playlist.
Can we get a link to the next video in series on each video?

MIT and no periods in between this a new world
i think the value of this course can best be described by personall anecdote. if i could go back in time and give myself a sitcky note that said "learn how to buy and sell options" i would trade my entire post 6th grade education for that knowledge.
The Stock Market is the place where you will find real quick how smart you really are...
This video has relentless ended up in my recommended page, I never click it, and never intend to watch it. It amazes me how often it pops up though
I wonder where these students are now.
I'm from india a 20 year old kid. , interested to build career in finance, dream of becoming the investment banker and lot more any guide or suggestions for mr
What a great introduction by Dr. Jake Xia! He jumps directly to basic finance concepts but quite easy to understand version. I'm an engineer, but still, get his general ideas about terms and concept.
BEST WISHES FOR YOUR SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS 💗
I dont really get it right now but i am 12 and this video helped me understand finance a little
In the process of growing,
the main concern is how to overcome
egoism and dig up the roots of evil.
thank you for your knowledge and giving this knowledge thru cost free channels
I'm a finance professor, and I was asked to teach other (non-finance) professors about finance... I'm just going to send them this video.
Those saying they wish their teachers taught like this, you should also remember the kind of assignments, tests and exams and grades you would get then😂
Best analysis and concept.
Thanks Dr. Jake xia.
Thank you Open Courseware.....so profoundly enlightening. MIT....THANKSSSSS a zillion

Successful people don't become that way overnight. What most people see at a glance-wealth, a great career, purpose-is the result of hard work and hustle over time.
I am here because soon I have to take a finance class for health care administration . When I took it for marketing I barely passed . I want to learn how to understand this subject and be able to pass it next year
Japan and Australia has been a great international relationship,as the partnership goes on the hedging on the which one goes high as being financed bidirectionally?
Dr. Jake Xia You are amazing at your teaching style. 🤩🤩

Most of the content in this playlist is merely theory and historical methods that nowadays are obsolete, if you want information of modern topics read "Advances in financial machine learning" by Lopez de Prado.

He really mentioned most of what I learned in 1 year of studying trading
good strategy! You have made a lot of good videos. Adore! I'm a big fan.
thank you for posting these videos and making learning free!!
Poor initial explanation on FX Currency Hedging. Any further material or other resources that explain this better? I dont understand why to hedge the risk there is separately, an FX trade, an interest rate swap and a currency swap. Why does he not just forward currency hedge like the student explained?
Can anyone attend these classes? Even working professionals?
Smashed the likes. Automation is not math . Nature is not using math. If probability of some stochastics is NP-hard (most real world problems are) than statistical learning is not the goal nor the starting point.
That example he gave with gaining capital in Japan and investing in Australia sounds very similar to the Arbitrage Pricing Theory
Clifford McEachin It's not. It's another financial method of application. I'll let you research for learning purposes ;)
