Dealing with the paper money does brittle and falling apart. All the pawnshop does is put them in an acrylic, hard case each bill, and then Jack to price up. They sell each individual bill that will take care of the falling apart. Lol.
They must be fast af at the pawn shop at processing and barcoding what they get even before they know what they have because if you look at the flask at the end it is already marked and barcoded lol
Not a bad show at all. Yes, it’s staged and the acting is atrocious at some points, but I watch it to see the historical items people bring in. I just love seeing what people (especially collectors) own that I didn’t even know exist. Like a lot of the historical firearms people bring in.
Would love to see a version of pawn stars in other countries, im sure there are shows like that on local channels in other countries, wonder where I can find something like this :)

Germany and Austria has Bares für Rares, but they don't sell in a Pawn Shop, but in front of 5 arts experts/resellers which bid against each other. A lot less heckling, a lot less fighting, older art pieces as well and generally higher prices (it's insane how much old jewelery or paintings can be worth!) I always felt that Pawn Stars was the way more grimy and "american" version of that (as in overproduced, a lot of editing, background music, "experts" that seem to live on standby until Rick calls them and so on... 😂) Edit: Bares für Rares is on YT as well of course!)
Actually, Cavalry used Sabers (a curved-blade sword), as this was, an M1860 Light Cavalry Saber. Swords are generally a straight-blade. The episode text description is correct but the conversational narrative was not.
