The nether activity is just the pale heart patrol zone with revive tokens, reduced healing and a very half-assed "randomizer" of probably 4 mini-public events. Bungie also definitely is going to butcher the rogue-LITE aspect, i guarantee it they probably looked at or played a classic genuine rogue-like/lite and thought you know what lets put this in destiny and not know how to properly implement it and call it a day.

I'm over here seeing people play gms meleeing every single enemy in said gm and healing to triple HP basically on every cast, getting back their melee constantly, running through gms like a steam train. I'm actually fine with actually being challenged in this activity that way.

Because last I checked that kind of kills the curiosity to explore and figure things out. I think the healing reduction is only specifically for the activity. You don't passively gain any healing and all healing from all sources are reduced. So even if a small amount, it's on demand healing for the activity. Plus the Strand version is different. The Solar No Hesitation we have gives allies Restoration and with Physic gives it to ourselves and gains weapon damage to yourself so either way the Strand won't heal as much. With this Strand one you're giving allies a weapon damage boost as well as spawning Unraveling projectiles. So some synergy with anything that works off Unravel and a somewhat passive way to gain Tangles without having to use abilities or Sever (which requires abilities to proc). Depending on how it stacks I can see people using this in Dungeons or Raids on those 1 shot supers like Golden Gun.
I hate the argument about the vog weapons being craftable. Everyone was saying make it craftable, they do it and bring new perks. What do people do, instantly complain that they don’t want to go and get them. Guess what don’t go get them then and shut up already
No matter what Bungie does people are gonna complain. People didn't want crafting because they wanted to grind, and so Bungie made it so you had to grind for the weapons. Then people wanted crafting back because they didn't want to grind for the weapons. But when they add crafting back, people get mad that its back.

What Bungie should have done is develop Destiny 3 years ago so after the Final Shape concluded, the “episodic” content would hold us over until D3 launches with a new story, onboarding for new players, etc. Pete and the boys wasted money and resources so the devs have to continue making DLC for D2 and still have to support old gen consoles. Personally I think they don’t have the tech to really bring Destiny forward and innovate without making a full blown sequel and they don’t have the resources to do it.

@ well I've gone flawless 15 times and Im mainly a PVE player anyways I only play trials for PVE weapons. But I know plenty of people who aren't very good at the game who have gone flawless and me myself I am not that great, I only have a 1.19 average KD. As I said, the last time going flawless was genuinely seen as a accomplishment in destiny was d1 considering the community was much more toxic, the meta required way more skill imo and you also needed 2 other people who you could work with and in d1 there were not as much bail outs. Also we already have a card in the game that puts you back to 3 wins if you get a flawed card and giving a free adapt weapon for getting 7 wins, idk why sweat or you in fact is acting like this hasn't been the plan for a long time to make trials have a higher player count.
Everyone is banking and hoping on that this season will be the last one of the "tying up loose ends" things and that whatever expansion they're cooking up will not be 70% recolored assets and 30% intentionally vague sh*t that means nothing but is used as an excuse for "expanding the Destiny universe".

on the contrary; do seasonal content to gain the ability to earn seasonal weapons without doing seasonal content. you can now earn seasonal weapon rolls while playing anything else in the game. done chasing seasonal weapons? extra glimmer to top you off, or more enhancement cores if you need them. fucking golfballs/basketballs. it's an objectively helpful system that makes the loot chase easier and less restrictive.
@ilredelnulla9837 titan melee focused most of enemys and boss or flying are off map and explode on kill. In mid to high difficulty content there dead before they use there melee and if the melee doesn't kill and in higher difficulty content they don't get buffs needed to be useful. Titan only good in strike difficulty ad clear because only place they can fully use there kit. Most of weapons that have come out do every thing titan does already making them pointless.

I think the healing reduction is only specifically for the activity. You don't passively gain any healing and all healing from all sources are reduced. So even if a small amount, it's on demand healing for the activity.
Plus the Strand version is different. The Solar No Hesitation we have gives allies Restoration and with Physic gives it to ourselves and gains weapon damage to yourself so either way the Strand won't heal as much. With this Strand one you're giving allies a weapon damage boost as well as spawning Unraveling projectiles. So some synergy with anything that works off Unravel and a somewhat passive way to gain Tangles without having to use abilities or Sever (which requires abilities to proc).
Depending on how it stacks I can see people using this in Dungeons or Raids on those 1 shot supers like Golden Gun.
I hate the argument about the vog weapons being craftable. Everyone was saying make it craftable, they do it and bring new perks. What do people do, instantly complain that they don’t want to go and get them. Guess what don’t go get them then and shut up already
No matter what Bungie does people are gonna complain. People didn't want crafting because they wanted to grind, and so Bungie made it so you had to grind for the weapons. Then people wanted crafting back because they didn't want to grind for the weapons. But when they add crafting back, people get mad that its back.

it's almost like this is the same community that complains that new players (and f2p players, which vog is f2p) don't get love. alright, you don't want to go back into the vault of glass to get new, reprised weapons (which btw, vog weapons stopped being relevant by witch queen and fatebringer was killed by coup in ITL, so it's not even like you were just in there). that doesn't mean it's somehow a bad thing to reprise old content to bring it into parity with newer game systems. the community is managing to bend over backwards to paint the idea of reprising old content as a somehow bad thing to do, when it's quite literally an objectively good thing to do and is even giving support to newer and f2p players, which is something people make another habit of complaining about.
destiny players make it their job to fling undue hate about anything that doesn't make them literally shit themselves with excitement. if they don't have to get a new chair at the end of a reveal, they'll find a way to demonize everything about it.

What Bungie should have done is develop Destiny 3 years ago so after the Final Shape concluded, the “episodic” content would hold us over until D3 launches with a new story, onboarding for new players, etc. Pete and the boys wasted money and resources so the devs have to continue making DLC for D2 and still have to support old gen consoles. Personally I think they don’t have the tech to really bring Destiny forward and innovate without making a full blown sequel and they don’t have the resources to do it.

@ well I've gone flawless 15 times and Im mainly a PVE player anyways I only play trials for PVE weapons. But I know plenty of people who aren't very good at the game who have gone flawless and me myself I am not that great, I only have a 1.19 average KD. As I said, the last time going flawless was genuinely seen as a accomplishment in destiny was d1 considering the community was much more toxic, the meta required way more skill imo and you also needed 2 other people who you could work with and in d1 there were not as much bail outs.
Also we already have a card in the game that puts you back to 3 wins if you get a flawed card and giving a free adapt weapon for getting 7 wins, idk why sweat or you in fact is acting like this hasn't been the plan for a long time to make trials have a higher player count.

@ilredelnulla9837 titan melee focused most of enemys and boss or flying are off map and explode on kill. In mid to high difficulty content there dead before they use there melee and if the melee doesn't kill and in higher difficulty content they don't get buffs needed to be useful. Titan only good in strike difficulty ad clear because only place they can fully use there kit. Most of weapons that have come out do every thing titan does already making them pointless.
