Agree :-) Outstanding Lathe and I was also very impressed with the manual details for break-in and wiring :-) Very refreshing to have a manual with such well written details :-) After in place, I carefully removed the Center Sheet metal between stands and bolted in a very heavy set of shelves to add several hundred pounds of weight ... Also benefit was lots of extra tool storage space below :-) Well Done Video, Thank You :-)
Kenny, I haven't had any issues with vibration on mine. Surface finish is great if you watch feed rate as with any other lathe. The stands are very sturdy and it sits solid on them. For leveling, I used shim stock instead of leveling feet. I've ran mine several hours now with no complaints. Top spindle rpm is 1450, I wish it would run at least 2000rpm. Aside from that, it has served me well and I've turned out some super accurate firearms with it.
Darn good video Jeremy! Thanks for taking the time. I have been looking deep at those Grizzly lathes. There's lots of video out there of happy owners, JT and Cagnilia. Any buyer's remorse? Maybe should have gone with a bigger one? Don't mean to knock down the one you own, which I might go with. Just really looking for straight up advice. Thank you again
Does the lathe come with tooling and what size tooling does it use, also how is the carriage stop set so you don't hit the chuck when turning or threading
I have heard horror stories of motor vibration causing surface finish issues after the lathe breaks in. Have you experienced any of this? Are the stands sturdy enough to prevent the lathe from being tippy? What kind of leveling feet did you use? I'm about a few days from pulling the trigger on the G0750g. Any advise would be great.
Hi please who, guy, is the right one for the market Quick change tool post for G0750G Lathe , Example AXA, BXA ,CXA , BECAUSE I HAVE THE SAME AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO BUY .Thanks ,best recards .
