Strange. I bought one of these and tried my wife's hair dryer on low to see how it would perform, it blew. It was using about 450 Watts and it blew. I am incredulated at your amazing test. mine has gone back and I am waiting for a replacement. Thank you for this amazing test. Ken UK.
Love it...gotta get 1.. My question is ..does it make a lotta noise?...the ecomax has lotsa complaints on noise....this one looks perfect for me...hope noise is tiny
I just upgraded mine to the ALLPOWER 2500 model with 300 watts of panels for 1370 bucks tax included free shipping. The difference is huge. These units work much better when it’s sunny and you are charging while you are using it 😊
1500watts x 8hrs = 12kWh of consumption. That is a massive amount of power. Actually it is almost as much capacity as I have in my home connected backup system on 11 circuits. Thanks for watching and commenting.
This Allpowers unit is quite confusing. Seen a few reviews that don't rate it very highly and peoples comments don't speak too highly of the company support either.
This video is sooo American)) Very amazing! Thanks! I have bought this stuff just today. Hope it will work. But one thing I’m not sure about is if this station can run a water pump. The pump is about 1-1.2 kwt I guess but they say it takes up to three times more power when starting. So if we get about 3 kwt of consumption for a short time when the pump starts will this cool thing handle it? What do you think?
I think it might just run it. They claim a surge power of 4000watts on this power station. That should easily handle a pump with a surge of 3kw. Hope that is helpful. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
@@JustinsProject Well, I have tested this device with my electric pump. IT WORKS! The pump is 1.1 kWt and the ALLPOWERS S2000 managed to operate it without problem. I used a special soft starter which supposed to decrease the starting current by 25 percent. No peak has been detected in the moment of starting. It jumped up to 800 Wt and then slowly increased up to 1,1 kWt as it should be. So, the question is answered. Now should the electricity interrupt I can use even the water pump to supply the water to my small country house.
That was all impressive, but key question wasnt answered. How long will it actually hold a charge when its being used in emergency, all that powers great but not if you only get 2 hours, worktime.
Don't fall for nonsense. I bought it and if you connect an electric blanket for 4 hours, you already lose half the battery in power. I charged it to 100% yesterday (which took 4 hours on power) and after using the multicooker for 25 minutes and 4 hours of electric blanket on medium setting and I now have 3% battery left. Worthless thing!
What wattage is the blanket rated at? 4 hours does seem very short for a heating blanket. One of my multi cookers (ninja foodi) is rated at 1760 watts on certain settings though. That's a lot of power.
Exactly I don't see how these guys act like it's an actual generator , they lose power fast after you charge them and try heavy loads , mine can run a diesel heater for at least two nights and some charging of phones , but it's not really a power station in a sense of taking place of a inverter generator , get real lol
I am amused.... I see a 5.1KWH LIthium battery at $1400 or this thing at 2000. Given the solar you have I think I am missing just how cool it is. NO reply necessary.
Get off the bs it can onley run all that for a short time , i have a 2000 and it is onley good for a short time for big loads , but it works good for a diesel of grid heater . Sure you can get a bit out of it to do some heavy duty ...but it dies real quick so get her done .
Typically, it can output more than the rated output for a small amount of time. Usually, a 2000 continuous output inverter can surge to 2x (4000w) for a very short time. On powerstations, they have total solar input rating. Different for all powerstations. Capacity rating. Output rating. Those are the main selling points. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
The system is rated by inverter output and battery capacity. Depending on your needs, you may consider a larger power station. I have an EP800 with B500 batteries that backs up my house.

this is probably the best test video ive seen.. thank you..
Much appreciated! Thank you for watching and commenting.
Can you discharge and recharge it at the same time using solar panels?
I also want to know this 👍
Yes you can
Great review!
Thanks!

how is this holding up i heard there are problems with these units after some time
It's still doing great for me. Just used it the other day during a blackout. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
This is great...need to purchase a couple
I would like to have at least 2 of them also. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻

It's much quieter than my River 2 Max. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
That was impressive haha! Great & fun video Justin!
Much appreciated 🙏 Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻

Congrats on the upgrade! Thanks for watching and commenting!
I wanted to see a test of a 1500 watt cooker or heater. Need to know if it can handle it for 8 hours.

Tha’t awesome Justin👍
Pretty cool stuff! Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻

Depends on the consumption of the appliance(s) someone would be powering during that time. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻

@@judithmattos5224 It probably is Judie as I have watched a thorough review on Allpowers S2000 and I would never buy this unit.

Amazon has it for around 1000 including 200 watts of solar panel

not lithium phosphate, so the total cycles are much less
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
Why is it made in China only. American or German made would be more better.

I think this system is bs it only run for short periods not worthy at all
