What an amazing classic game, I genuinely thought you covered this a long time ago but I’m happy you’re playing it now
Just remembering the background music makes me nostalgic
He replays these games sometimes i think he played the 2nd a few months back
he did

I used to love these games. I remember playing Age Of War 1 and doing the most disrespectful thing possible. I didn't evolve to the next age for as long as I could stall.
Turns out, Cavemen can actually hold their own against advanced alien tech. 4 egg turrets, spamming dino riders (so cheap once the opponent evolves a couple of times), and they can't even get close enough to hurt you. Save up, then upgrade all the way to alien in one go, get four ion turrets (the blue ones) and win. Sometimes for fun, save up until I can summon a bunch of the strongest units as well and just crush them. Cavemen hold up aliens, then suddenly have advanced ion cannons and everything.
Can't do that with Age Of War 2 though. The power scaling is a lot better there.
Also reminds me of another, similar game a friend showed me once. Trying to remember it. But the whole point was gathering up an army and fighting various parts of Japan to rule over the entire country. It had an insane ending to it as well. Can't quite remember the name though.
i think i know that other game...
"the great war of Prefectures".
that one certainly has a crazy ending, you have to fight Aliens on small Islands at the end!
still doesn’t make sense a caveman with a dinosaur can’t beat a military dude with just a knife
Armor games and Age of War. Brings back memories. Also, Epic War anyone?
epic war me
DF, no matter how long you sit there, not sending anything at all, the AI will always send units at you. They have unlimited money in both games
i love playing this game as a kid, such a fun yet simple game concept.
Melee dmg upgrade goes up like crazy, it's also pretty cheap to maxs out. So you have some 2x stronger units at the start of the game
Oh my god. Now this is a game I haven't seen in YEARS.
This, Dino run, and Raze used to be my entire life😂.
I played countless hours in elementary school playing this game what a time to be alive
You finally playing GOLD (Good+OLD) GAMES!
Edit: 15:05 "Question mark" man & Dog 💀
I feel like I definitely played a VERY similar game about 20 years ago. Kitten Cannon next?
Classic game played it since i was young now i am an adult and enjoying the video.
so nostalgia i used to play this when i was a kid back in 2006
Lol, i played this game. It was so easy. In the beginning, you spam $25 guy every time you have a chance. AND YOU WIN, EVEN IN IMPOSSIBLE DIFFICULTY I SWEAR
i remember playing this for hours the music is still trapped in my head and i hear it as you are playing
10:16 Well, you're playing a bugged version of Age of War, as Ion Ray was never supposed to have such a high reach. The original creator of this game released a patch on newgrounds which fixed bugs such as the pause bug with god spells and the Ion Ray range bug, but unfortunately not before many people disseminated the old bugged version all over the internet, so the newer version is somewhat obscure
I believe theres even a third part of this game, but dont remember if it has the same name
5:53 RIP Jeremy, you'll be remembered 😔
Making a unit give more to the enemy than they cost to summon is just recipe for defensive stall playstyles
How many of yall remember newgrounds?
I gotta say the fact I’m not listening to glorious morning (the song that plays in there background) is a huge missed opportunity
Duuude this brings Soo many cool memories 🤩
This is nostalgia central right here
Swords & souls is perfect for your channel!
This game is so nostalgic
Used to be my game when I was 8 sitting in computer class playing this was always a good time
I like all of his videos
When I was playing this game I always thought the volcano icon looked like a one eyed woman with puffy black hair when I was young
i used to play this all the time in first grade when we would go to the computer lab
In the army age if you buy the top tier turret, you can’t lose
This is soo nostalgic
in the first game you had a best unit each age, in the second each unit counters a different one.
Glorious Morning - waterflame
its nice to see the entire game, even though you deff play on easy difficulties, but its better content. i've played some of the games you've played like Grow Your Guardan and even on medium difficulty, spawn was twice as rough lol.
I play most these games to see the entire game, its nice to watch it quickly instead
Does anyone remeber calling in your special and pauseing the game and it dropping all at once
Good ole addicting games, kongregate, armor games, ect loved age of war
Brooo this game was so nice omg…
I love your videos
Your awesome I swear

For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.
-Romans 3:23
How we can find eternal life? Where do we look? And who has it?
We find the answer in the Gospel of Luke, in a conversation that Jesus had with a man whom Luke simply identified as “a religious leader” (18:18)
And the answer Jesus gave to this man’s question is relevant to each of us today.
He approached Jesus and said, “Good Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life?” (verse 18)
Jesus replied, “Why do you call me good? . . . Only God is truly good. But to answer your question, you know the commandments: ‘You must not commit adultery. You must not murder. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. Honor your father and mother’ ”
(verses 19-20)
Jesus took him back to the law. That’s because God did not give us the commandments to make us righteous. Rather, He gave us the commandments to function like a moral mirror in our lives and show us what we’re really like. When we look at God’s law, we realize that we fall short.
Amazingly, this man said that he had obeyed all those commandments since he was young.
So, Jesus told him, “There is still one thing you haven’t done. Sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me” (verse 2)
This leader had so much going for him. He was moral, religious, and powerful. He was sincere and could have easily qualified for membership in most of our churches today. Yet something was still lacking in his life.
He may have been the only person who ever came to Jesus and then left in worse condition than before. It wasn’t because of what Jesus said. It was because of his own reaction. He didn’t like what Jesus said to him, so he walked away, filled with sorrow.
Even though he came to Jesus with the right question and received the right answer, he made the wrong decision. Why? Because he was not honest with God or himself.
As George Bernard Shaw pointed out, “There are two sources of unhappiness in life. One is not getting what you want. The other is getting it.”
So many people believe that one of these days if they win the lottery, if they strike it big, then they will be happy. And if they do actually realize their dreams, they often discover that it didn’t bring them happiness.
The same Jesus who offered eternal life to that religious leader so long ago is also offering it to us. First, we must realize that we’ve sinned. We all have broken God’s commandments time and time again.
Second, we must recognize that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on the cross for us. He shed His blood for every sin we have ever committed.
And third, we must be willing to repent of our sins.
That is what we need to do to inherit eternal life. That is God’s trade-in deal.
The nostalgia of this is immeasurable.

I remember staying in the 1st age for a while until I had a bunch of egg turrets. They hit less hard but had such a high fire rate and thus consistently kept enemies off.
This is my childhood gameplay. DF just flush me with nostalgia. I was struggling in impossible difficulty, but there is a way.
DF's vids could be 1 hour long and I'd probably still watch them entirely.

You can literally beat the game on the hardest difficulty by spamming archers, I love this game
Glorious morning brings back so many memories of this game.

I loved the video, love this game but it wouldnt be a DF video without him completely not noticing key things, he kept using his ultimate in the second one and using up a lot of exp and he had no clue 😂😂 much love DF❤
You should play army of ages it's a direct sequel to war of ages 2.
Ahhh Age of War what an og game I played this so many times. Keep you're content up I'd love to watch more❤

you can win on the hardest mode by just spamming slingshotters. yes thats right. you can win the hardest mode in the caveman age. dont even need any turrets.
This uploaded just in time for me to fall asleep to, what beautiful timing
Yo bro facts I has the same idea
You have just posted everyone’s favorite childhood classic man. well played
Just save enough for an egg turret by using abilities and slingshot guys. You can survive for a while with an egg turret and any units being sent out
Another incredible classic game like this one was Army Of Ages, me and my brother loved it and played in turns, sad that it is (Hopefully temporarily) dead because of Flash Player's death
Funny thing about the egg launcher it is better than anything up to fire catupult and cannons
This was the game that I spent hours on during fourth grade just playing over and over
Omg if this is age of war then i remember playing this on flash oml i love this game
Please play more of this df!!!
I’m disappointed you don’t have the original music playing for this game, it’s such a classic song, just nostalgic vibes
Did you... Turn of that legendary soundtrack?
I never had the patience as a kid to get too far in this, good times
Him not knowing that the enemy is a npc
I played this too
I love your video and your voice, you so cute and funny:)
If aliens wanted to know human history in its entirety.....this game would be it.
11:52 There are no critical hits in Age of War 2, there's effective damage however. Different units have different strengths and weaknesses, it goes as follows:
Infantry: Strong against support, weak against armor
Support: Strong against anti-armor, weak against infantry
Anti-Armor: Strong against armor, weak against support
Armor: Strong against infantry, weak against anti-armor
God's wrath is its own separate category and therefore has no strengths or weaknesses.
Also using god spells in Age of War 2 is not a good idea unless you're in a pinch or unless you're in the last age
this game is genuine nostalgia for me i always played it on unblocked google sites on school computers in 6th grade
Age of war 2 is a lot better, with more things! (Also generals which some are easy, some are insanely hard. 1 is unlocked automatically when u play 1st time, 2nd which is Hades comes once you beat the main game once on any difficulty. The other 8 are unlocked by an in app purchase [For some reason a few weeks after I bought the gamepass, it refunded yet I kept the gamepass.])
God why can't remember the name of this why stupid me
Age of war
Why is it stuck at- ah nvm, thought the whole video was finna be 240p... luckily it only lasted for like the first 10-15 seconds 😅
I remember the best strat was spot spam ranged
Romans before Egyptians? I didn't really pay much attention in history class but I'm pretty sure that's not how it went....
