I looked at some Indiana games, Jack didn't look that bad he showed potential back then. Being at UM, with better coaching, I know he has gotten better, and he has a way more talented team at UM. I just say may the best QB win the job.

I think Jack Tuttle has been over looked. I know he didn't play in the spring game but he did a good job while in there last year. He is a very fast runner, has a good accurate arm and is football smart. I like the QBs we have and the competition is going to make everyone better.
I've been saying this all along. He was a high 4-Star prospect who has played behind two guys that both just got drafted in the first round. He did get some starting experience at Indiana when Penix got injured and he is more athletic than people realize.

@@freeheeler00 - yes I believe Tuttle will be the starter and go on to have a great season. The experience and athleticism he has cannot be overlooked. He can run and zing the ball in there with precision.
I speculate this is on purpose. IMO it is to mislead opponents to to try and counter Orjis skill set. And give a false confidence aswell as a sense of uncertainty to other programs that UofM is “not confident” within the QB position. I believe Tuttle will get the start in my honest opinion

Tuttle's stats at Michigan are an 82% completion rate on 39 attempts for two TD's and zero INT's. Not bad at all.
Side note.. looks like Osu is trending to get Maxwell Roy.. great prospect but not a huge loss.. have marshall & Williams.. osu only had 1 DT taken so it makes sense they pushed harder for Roy

We will have a top 10 recruiting class. These coaches get a lot of credit. Sherrone has been most impressive, steady. Can't wait for the season to start.

@@MichiganSportsTalkOn3 currently has 7 guys favored to Michigan. If all 7 commit and Ivan Taylor flips then Michigan would have a 247 composite score of 265.11 which still wouldn’t be good enough for top 10 class (based on prior year scores)

Every time Sherrone speaks recruits join. Looking forward to finishing up our portal work next month. Still need some depth at linebacker and defensive line for this year's team.
Offensively, another OT and a 6'3 or better receiver would solidify what's looking like a versatile, explosive offense.
Harbaugh was NOT good at getting highly rated classes. I am pleasantly surprised so far with Coach Moore and his staff! They seem to be doing a really good job
@@GeorgeBillingsworth-ty9cd Apparently Coach Harbaugh put a clause in his contract that stated that UM could only replace Jim with Sherrone if Coach Harbaugh were to move on and coach elsewhere.
That's beyond high praise. As a matter of fact, Nick Saban's decision to retire may have had something to do with the advent of the Sherrone Moore Era.
His ability to coach (defeating two top 10 teams in his first 3 games/winning the Joe Moore award in both of his seasons as O-Line coach) AND recruit is second to none.

I “HOPE” Sherrone will be good for Michigan. Let’s be honest though..Sherrone isn’t an Offensive Coaching genius or defensive. He made some great hires but those people can and will leave eventually.

He was promoted to offensive line coach in 2021. He won the Joe Moore award in his first season as OL coach. He would win it again in '22, making Michigan the first team to win the award in consecutive years. He was then promoted to OC this past season and was immediately thrust into the fire as interim HC against two AP top 10 teams(Penn State and Ohio State) He outshined, outclassed, outmaneuvered, and ultimately got the checkmate against both Ryan Day and James Franklin.
I happen to know that Coach Moore is a football junkie. His idea of date night with his wife is ordering-in Chinese food, and watching 1903 Princeton vs. Yale highlights.
The word 'genius' isn't quite strong enough to describe passion meeting purpose. Let's just say Coach Moore is different in the best of ways.

@richhopson6063 it's going to be a good year. Team 145 has talent. Cultures the same. I'd like to see Davis Warren just march down field. Tell you what. Michigan QB room is not a problem but a strength. They are tight with one another and will make each other better.

Unfortunately, it looks like Maxwell Roy is predicted to commit to Ohio State so that is annoying. But hopefully we can land a few of these guys you are talking about. It would be nice to crack the top ten in recruiting classes after MSU and OSU fans talked all of that trash.
Yeah would suck to lose out on Maxwell Roy, but as long as we keep Nate Marshall and Jaylen Williams committed we’ll be fine. We also have Bobby Kanka who recently reassured his commitment

Anyone that knows ball knows it’s between Warren & Tuttle. The only Orgi QB play you’ll see is for hybrid or wildcat. Cant read D or progressions, I’ve been saying those two guys since Feb. Orgi will see the field for those that like the guy, so don’t sweat it!

Warren or Tuttle- last thing Michigan needs is a QB who isn't accurate.
Whoever doesn’t turn over the ball & gets the first downs & sustains drives should be the guy.
No turnovers is most important because our defense is so good that we will make the playoffs if our QB just does not turn the ball over.
We don’t need Patrick Mahomes gunslinger. We just need a guy who doesn’t turn the ball over.

I have been a fan of Meeeechiiiiigan since I was 5 or 6 years old I am now 54. From my understanding the number one Jersey is not given to you it must be earned. Mister Walker has not earned the number one Jersey therefore he should not be wearing number 1.

In 2021 Michigan didn't have Connor Stalions. In 2022 your own coaches say they changed their signs for the Michigan game so Stalions was irrelevant. In 2023 Stalions was gone and you played Michigan MONTHS after signgate broke.
