I met a woman in the small appliance isle a few weeks back getting ready to buy a power xl oven door type cooker. I immediately told her I used to have one years ago and they are junk. I showed her your channel on you tube and she subscribed right on the spot. I showed her a couple of videos where you compare different cookers. The thing she really liked was the list of videos of all the foods you can cook in an airfryer. I saw her yesterday in the grocery store and she bought a Cosori from Amazon. She bought it because of your reviews. She also said she uses it everyday! This is just to let you know you do make a difference in people's lives in a positive way in what seems like a negative world! Thank you

My original Paula air fryer is still going. I have gone through 2 COSORI with bad customer service. I have pulled out Paula again for the win. The elevated rack would have been used for the fries when you wanted them cooked quicker and crispier.

Literally everything in life is exposure to some kind of chemicals that can affect us. As long as you aren't damaging the teflon coating nor is it flaking off.... you're fine.

THANK YOU so much for conducting a comparison review including the Paula Deen Ceramic Air Fryer. It has been on my wish list for a long time. And YES YES YES - - please do a video comparing other brands of ceramic air fryers. From this review, I concluded that I would not be happy with the PD because of the heat emanating from the external basket; the LOUD beeps; and the 10 qt size is way too large for just one person. What I liked about the PD AF is the front location of the digital panel; ability to raise the height of the inside "shelf" of the basket; and of course ceramic versus teflon will always be a win-win for me. Thank you for educating us on all things "Air Fryer" - - LOVE your videos!!! 🙂

I had a Paula Deen air fryer for about a year. The first problem I had was it would not shut off running unless you unplugged it. My husband, the fixer of all things, did manage to fix that problem. Great, I loved that air fryer! Then just two months later, the whole display died. I was so upset and frustrated at this point because it wasn't very old, and I just threw it away and got something else. I will never buy anything Paula Deen ever again.

I love my Bella pro series 9 QT Trizone air fryer. I can take out the middle part or leave it in and
do two different items at the same time with different temps and times. It's very easy to clean
and if I like that if I decide to air fry a whole chicken, duck or even turkey, I can. It air fries,
bakes, roasts, broils and it's got a dehydrator and I like the reheat function as well.
I use it a lot now to make healthy non processed meals.

    Good Afternoon Cathy,
I just found your channel because I have finally made the decision to purchase my 1st air fryer.
I was initially interested in the french door type of air fryer simply because they had a window with a light to see what you are cooking.
However, it seemed more difficult than just pulling out a drawer full of food, and pouring the fries, etc. into a bowl.
I think I have decided on the Instant Vortex Plus 6qt Air Fryer with ClearCook - Black...
But, I can't seen to find an answer to my question on this air fryer. It says it tells you on the screen when cooking half way to done and to shake the basket, but is that just on the screen OR is there an audible beep ?
Also, someone told me that this air fryer does not have just a normal plug, do you need an upgraded electrical outlet ?
Also, my "total budget" for this item is no more than $100.00, will be waiting and watching for BLACK FRIDAY SALES...
    Thanks

What is your opinion of the Chefman TurboFry® Touch Air Fryer, XL 8-Qt, compared to the Cosori Dual Blaze 6.8 Q? Can you do a review of the Chefman or a comparison?

I have a cermac air fryer and would not want anything else. It was expensive, but really aren't you worth it. Protect your health people, you are irreplaceable.

Can you review the Kyvol AF600 ceramic coated? It’s only 1350 watts but has an FDA carcinogen/65 warning none. It’s also smart with an app!

Are all Consori Air Fryers PTFE- PFOA free? I'm good with an air fryer as long as its not those chemicals. My biggest issue? I need a BIG airfryer 3 boys wife and I. I'm digging the dual blaze.... is it PTFE/PFOA free?

Yeah I worry a lot of the chemicals in lots of air fryers. I'm glad I have my little cosori. So happy with it. ❤

Does the Cosori dual blaze have a pre heat function?

I'll stick with my Cosori. I would eventally like to get the dual blaze model. I hand wash usually, but like that I can put the Cosori basket in the dishwasher if it's really greasy. Is the ceramic easier to clean on the Paula Dean?

  • @bethjeans3780
    @bethjeans3780 ปีที่แล้ว +10

The Dual Blaze double burner is a great feature - no pre-heating, no flipping, which you didn’t point out, but my favorite is it’s so much easier to clean than previous models. The basket doesn’t have holes in it which is a game changer.
On the Paula Dean, I don’t like the combo metal & black exterior = fingerprints on the metal. But even if her AF was better, wouldn’t buy her brand.

My Cosori dual blaze has all the presets illuminated and the mode you select turns orange. Maybe it's been resolved in a firmware update. I love mine..full chicken and steaks in it are amazing

The 50W difference between the two shouldn't make a difference in overall performance as long as the air fryer can achieve and maintain whatever temperature you set. It does make a difference in how long it takes for the air fryer to heat up when you turn it on, and how quickly it regains that temperature when put the basket back in after shaking it. I'm more interested in the fact that the Paula Deen fryer gets hot on the outside when you use it, because that tells me that it's losing heat rapidly during cooking; your Cosori Dual Blaze is doing a better job of keeping the heat inside, where it cooks your food faster. If you have a temperature probe with a remote readout that would let you test for temperature consistency while the fryer is running, that could prove enlightening. I suspect you'd discover that the temperature inside the Paula Deen basket is making more frequent, wider swings than the temperature inside the Cosori, and you may even find that its average temperature is below what you're setting on the control panel.

I’m really curious if the ceramic last longer or is easier to clean. My Teflon one with a lot of use is pretty much toast after about six months. The finish just hasn’t held up well.

You have to be careful still because if it's sorayed on ceramic which uses chemical compounds to adhere to the basket then it's just as dangerous versus an actual ceramic plate and or basket. Not all ceramic is created equal

I really wanted a ceramic air fryer but almost all of the ones I saw were kinda weird and wonky or from strange brands. The Paula one would have been a top choice for me but it was only available in red or blue 🤣. I ended up buying a Gourmet Edge 6qt ceramic coated one from Camping World for $85
