I met a woman in the small appliance isle a few weeks back getting ready to buy a power xl oven door type cooker. I immediately told her I used to have one years ago and they are junk. I showed her your channel on you tube and she subscribed right on the spot. I showed her a couple of videos where you compare different cookers. The thing she really liked was the list of videos of all the foods you can cook in an airfryer. I saw her yesterday in the grocery store and she bought a Cosori from Amazon. She bought it because of your reviews. She also said she uses it everyday! This is just to let you know you do make a difference in people's lives in a positive way in what seems like a negative world! Thank you

THANK YOU so much for conducting a comparison review including the Paula Deen Ceramic Air Fryer. It has been on my wish list for a long time. And YES YES YES - - please do a video comparing other brands of ceramic air fryers. From this review, I concluded that I would not be happy with the PD because of the heat emanating from the external basket; the LOUD beeps; and the 10 qt size is way too large for just one person. What I liked about the PD AF is the front location of the digital panel; ability to raise the height of the inside "shelf" of the basket; and of course ceramic versus teflon will always be a win-win for me. Thank you for educating us on all things "Air Fryer" - - LOVE your videos!!! 🙂

My original Paula air fryer is still going. I have gone through 2 COSORI with bad customer service. I have pulled out Paula again for the win. The elevated rack would have been used for the fries when you wanted them cooked quicker and crispier.

Thank you so much for this review! Yes, please do a review for more ceramic coated air fryers!!! I was considering the Paula Deen air fryer because it was one of the only ones that are ceramic - VERY important for my families health! But I will admit the price is what made me hit the pause button.

I had a Paula Deen air fryer for about a year. The first problem I had was it would not shut off running unless you unplugged it. My husband, the fixer of all things, did manage to fix that problem. Great, I loved that air fryer! Then just two months later, the whole display died. I was so upset and frustrated at this point because it wasn't very old, and I just threw it away and got something else. I will never buy anything Paula Deen ever again.

    Good Afternoon Cathy,
I just found your channel because I have finally made the decision to purchase my 1st air fryer.
I was initially interested in the french door type of air fryer simply because they had a window with a light to see what you are cooking.
However, it seemed more difficult than just pulling out a drawer full of food, and pouring the fries, etc. into a bowl.
I think I have decided on the Instant Vortex Plus 6qt Air Fryer with ClearCook - Black...
But, I can't seen to find an answer to my question on this air fryer. It says it tells you on the screen when cooking half way to done and to shake the basket, but is that just on the screen OR is there an audible beep ?
Also, someone told me that this air fryer does not have just a normal plug, do you need an upgraded electrical outlet ?
Also, my "total budget" for this item is no more than $100.00, will be waiting and watching for BLACK FRIDAY SALES...
    Thanks

The Dual Blaze double burner is a great feature - no pre-heating, no flipping, which you didn’t point out, but my favorite is it’s so much easier to clean than previous models. The basket doesn’t have holes in it which is a game changer.
On the Paula Dean, I don’t like the combo metal & black exterior = fingerprints on the metal. But even if her AF was better, wouldn’t buy her brand.

I would love for Cosori to get your input for a new air fryer model.

Can you review the Kyvol AF600 ceramic coated? It’s only 1350 watts but has an FDA carcinogen/65 warning none. It’s also smart with an app!

I'll stick with my Cosori. I would eventally like to get the dual blaze model. I hand wash usually, but like that I can put the Cosori basket in the dishwasher if it's really greasy. Is the ceramic easier to clean on the Paula Dean?

My Cosori dual blaze has all the presets illuminated and the mode you select turns orange. Maybe it's been resolved in a firmware update. I love mine..full chicken and steaks in it are amazing

I had a viewer email me about the firmware update and I did it... but sadly, still no illumination. :(

I prefer staintess steel and ceramic coating instead of forever chemicals. There are always particles emitted when the unit heats up... even without scrathes on the surface

How was the chicken skin not crunchy in either air fryer?? Thank you for this ceramic review!

I had dual blaze and wasn't impressed with all the hype. I now have Paula Deene AF in red and love it. Its beautiful and cooks fast imo. I usually follow cooking times that I see on yt but have to shave off a few mins bc it cooks faster than the times given. Plus I love the size.

Definitely more ceramic, stainless or anything but teflon test.
I really want an air fryer but I flatly refuse to buy one coated with teflon and I couldn't careless what so called "experts" have to say about teflon not releasing any toxins unless it reaches 500 degrees.
Before I knew any better back 30 to 40 years ago and got sucked into buying a teflon pan I think we all know that teflon does not last, it wears down quickly and starts to flake but long before that like literally every time you use it from day one its releasing micro-particles onto the food in the same way that we get micro-plastics and even a cast iron pan releases micro-particles of iron, enough that if you cook with cast iron you should get plenty of iron in your diet. So it doesn't matter how gingerly you treat it, its still going to release micro-particles of cancer causing chemicals into your food, its inevitable and theres no way around it.
So they can make the claims all day long that teflon is safe but that is clearly either a lie or they're seriously ignorant.
So, the only air fryers I have any interest in are ceramic, stainless and glass, and obviously if these companies had anyone working for them worth a ratz arse then they would make an air fryer basket and grate out of carbon steel which is just as non stick as teflon and gets better with age with zero toxicity.
One that looks promising right now is the "Paula Deen" 8.5qt ceramic and stainless air fryer, the one that just has a knob on the front that adjust the temp and the time and thats it. and its only $50

yes, please - more reviews of the advertised "non-toxic" air fryers.

This doesn't seem like a fair fight though. The Cosori has a double burner while the Paula Deen has just one. A better comparison would be the Paula Deen vs the Cosori II.

I was very curious about this review. I have had this Paula Deen air fryer over a year and a half and it’s been the best air fryer I’ve ever owned. Just FYI it cooks bacon just fine! And FYI it cooks the best burger I’ve ever cooked. Plus it’s an air fryer and of course it’s going to get hot, children shouldn’t be around the air fryer anyways. Really glad I tuned in so I could support Paula Deen in this comparison; because she as real as she is on television. By far all her products are all so good! Teflon is bad for your health too so why would you want to cook with a Teflon air fryer for your family anyways! Paula Deen by for won this comparison; really disappointed your channel was for the other air fryer! I won’t be watching anymore of your productions.

I think im going to buy a Ninja air fryer in another week or so, or MAYBE on Prime day! I really like my Ninja Foodi and the fact that they don't use Teflon.
