I bought the dual blaze when they were on sale during prime days. I haven’t used it yet. I just unpacked it yesterday and washed it and did the test. Glad to know I can do the veggies with the tray out. I look forward to using it. You’re the best with your videos. I love when the kids are your taste testers! ♥️

Thanks, Cathy. Answered all my questions and then some. I have since discovered that I can now replace my oven and my skillet! Almost anything that I can cook in my skillet, comes out as good or better in the Blaze; I can cook in a sauce on lower temperatures or just add a sauce at the end, stir and keep warm. I never thought that I could live without that basket!

I've been using a Philips HD9220/29 air fryer since Q1 of 2014. Super simple design with just a rotary knob that only goes up to 30 minutes and a rolling temperature wheel. That's it! So I've been using an air fryer for a VERY long time. Sadly the timer knob has started sticking which has become a safety hazard so I can't walk away from it unattended anymore. Stumbled across your channel today searching for a new air fryer and thanks to your videos I've narrowed it down to these two. I do LOVE having the removeable basket instead of a tray that my old air fryer has so that makes me lean more towards the Pro II but the Dual Blaze is so tempting as well. I think I may just pull the trigger on the Dual Blaze. Thank you for all the great air fryer videos!
Thank you so much for explaining how the different settings change how the burners work. Who knew? I’ve been using the Airfry setting for everything on my Dual Blaze. And it’s definitely quieter and easier to clean!

I had my 2 1/2 years old Cosori Air Fryer after my very first "egg" air fryer (only a few months old) was accidentally dropped and broke the basket. I LOVED it and can't image to live without it. I finally upgraded it to Dual Blaze on the Prime Day sale. Omg, cleaning the DB tray and basket is SO EASY! Especially two hearing elements! I just bought your cooking book! Thank you!

Cathy this video was super informative. I got my dual whenCosori had a trade-in a few months ago. They gave you a choice of newest models for 50% cost free ship both ways! The clean up is the best as you demonstrated, but the dual heat feature does a fantastic job as well. I got to thinking about popcorn and googled in in any AFer…tons of recipes but the bottom line is preheat, then 1/4 cup kernels x 5 minutes…and, make a foil “pan” with 1/2 in sides to put kernels in. Tried it last night and was excellent…thought to myself, why the foil pan in the dual? Another test today…just dumped kernels and popped away. BONUS? No “OLD MAIDS”. This last test? Popping slowed with 2 minutes left so I reduced temp to 360 and time to countdown 1 minute… please keep up the videos 🥰
That's awesome, Sunny! I've done popcorn in the Pro II in the past and wasn't a fan. It was a bit sketchy! You are right - no need for foil! Maybe I'll have to give it another try. 🤔

I was following your lead went bought the Cosori Pro II yesterday after watching your other videos about tips and tricks about the air fryer. Now I'm having a question / concern about the basket handle melting issue. Should I be concern about it? Is yours having any issues ? I saw handle melting issues, screws fall off, bottom of the unit overheated and caught on sparks....etc., it makes me having second thoughts of this unit, what would be your suggestions? Thank you .
Cosori has excellent customer service. Last week, my 6 month old Cosori Pro stopped heating. I emailed them and they sent detailed instructions to reset it. Five minutes later my fryer was working like new.
I use it everyday and don't know how I lived without it.

Thanks so much for the review! So glad I found you because I’ve been debating between the two! My one question is how easy is it to clean? The baskets look easy enough to clean but what about the elements above and below? And do the baskets scratch easily? I currently have the Ninja Food grill and I’m so disappointed at how many scratches their are on the bottom plate and it’s so hard to clean around the element not to mention the round mesh that protects it is so time consuming to clean. The food tastes great but I’m so hesitant to use it because of the time to clean it.

I've just ordered the dual blaze from Amazon, it's coming tomorrow. I like the idea of having no basket and of having the crisper tray instead. Also of have twin elements.
First time on this channel. Saw this air fryer in a short of a guy cooking vegetables, saying that it does not need to preheat because heats up very fast. So, wanted to see the fryer difference and found this video. It is great! Very objective, nice comparison. Nice recipes! I chose the Cosori Smart Chef Edition which I think is the European version of the Pro II.
I didn't really want to spend as much as the Dual Blaze costs - although it looks really good - we'll see how I get on when my new air fryer arrives. I can't wait.
I noticed that there was a lot of grease build up on the inside top of my Instant Pot air fryer around the coils and after cleaning it, the door no longer will stay closed so cleaning it once somehow screwed it up. So I am now wanting to buy a Cosori--how do you clean grease build up around the top coil area?

with it. I guess it won you over! I bought one during Prime Days (after only having my 5.8 since January) but it’s still in the box. You’ve motivated me to unbox it.
Have you tried the dual blaze? If so how does it compare to the pro?
@@kckomats143 I have both. I like that you don’t have to flip the food in the Dual Blaze and the basket is much easier to clean because it doesn’t have the little vents all around it where grease gets stuck.

How is cleaning the heating elements compare, besides there being two on the blaze?
Great video. I tried three other brands and none came close to Cosori. I went on Amazon and found parchment paper liners without holes they had sides on them also. It keeps it really clean. I did wings in it last night and they are still just as crispy as when I didn’t use liners. Amazon sells them in a square size.

There were a few other things that I had a hard time finding as you have them specifically named. I will try to remember what they are specifically but I have cooked so many things out of this book and we love it. I am amazed at how all of the fat falls off this meat. Thank you so much

Hi Jim, after a year of use, do you recommend dual blaze over the old 5.8 quart one? Here in Turkey pro II is not sold and I'm in between these two models. Dual blaze is about 3 times pricey than the old one, so is it still worth it or should I go for the cheaper one?
@@vikihandeli yes I stil use the dual blaze, love it. I also have the smaller one in my holiday caravan. The dual can be set up to cook your food on the way home as it's WiFi smart which is handy. I really like it .

Hi Maggie, I went and weighed the baskets on my kitchen scale. The Dual Blaze basket is almost 3 pounds. The Pro II basket (both pieces) came just 2 ounces less. So just about the same!

Oh, have fun, no fear! It’s just a little convection oven-heat with a fan! Great for reheating food too, like pizza or chicken, like in an oven but so quick and crispier. Pizza at 350 for 4-5 minutes, done. 😄
I was going to get the Cosori Pro ll but now will get the Cosori Dual Blaze but will wait for a sale. Great comparison.
Update: I jumped the gun and bought the Pro ll and it's being delivered Thursday. My reasoning is that the differences are not that great and both work great. Also the Pro ll was on sale. Checked this morning and the Dual Blaze is on sale for $70 less.
Like to ask the community if I should return the Pro ll and get the Dual Blaze? This will be the first and last air fryer I buy.. I returned it and got the Dual Blaze .. I love it
Which air fryer would you recommend overall? I’ve recently gotten a crisp and bake toaster oven/ air fryer but the grates are those tiny metal ones and imo it doesn’t really seem like an air fryer to me.

Hi, the dual blaze looks greta but what about the heating element on the bottom? Once the tray is removed it looks like a potential hazard especially if you have young kids helping in the kitchen! Any thoughts on this?

My Pro II I bought in 2021 has now had its basket replaced because the handle snapped off around the screws, all three at once, and I've just contacted them tonight to see if they'll warranty the non-stick coating in the bucket bubbling and peeling. How has yours held up over time?
Ours gets used 2-3 times a week at least so for under $100 I paid for it it's not like we haven't gotten a lot out of it but still, kind of disappointing.

Thank you for your thorough reviews on air fryers!! I purchased the Cosori Dual Blaze 6.8 q in light gray from QVC (150.00 after a 30.00 coupon). It hasn’t arrived yet but I’m so excited to get it. The one problem is, I was in Walmart today and they have the light gray 5.8 q Cosori Pro marked down to 89.00!! So, I bought that one too. I plan to do my own visual comparison before I decide which one to keep. Not sure the Dual Blaze will justify the large price difference. I would love your thoughts!

When using the dual blaze, is there any concern about burning the countertop because the unit has a bottom burner? Does the countertop get hot? I’m just wondering.

Cosori just came out with the TurboBlaze (6 quart). I'd like to see a review of it, especially since the description makes it seem very different. I like that has a dehydrate setting. It might be nice to occasionally dehydrate a small amount. I don't feel like I need a dedicated dehydrator. Don't feel the need for air fryer connected to the Internet.
The DualBlaze is too large for me.
I replaced my Cosori Pro with identical model because I liked it so much, but I might consider the TurboBlaze when the time comes to replace my Cosori Pro II.

Could you please give us pro/con with cosori dual blaze vs ninja dual sone 9,5 L?
Cathy, I will agree 100% on their customer service. They have the best in their business. They gave me a hugh credit on their store because of the troubles I had with their fryer ovens to where I got the dual blaze for free. I have 3 air fryers, my first was a chefman 2 qt, I still use every day, I have my Cosori oven and the dual blaze. To me the dual blaze gets used less because to me it doesn't maintain an even cooking. Example. I can do an omelet in my cosori oven and it cooks evenly with no puffing, it cooks flat. I did the same thing in my dual blaze with the same pan and I had a mountain of egg growing in the middle?. I had to try and pop it so the mountain turned in to a small hill. 😁
Oh interesting. Might be due to that bottom burner? You could use the broil function to turn that if when needed.
@@empoweredcooks i contacted cosori and they say they don't recommend cooking eggs in the air fryer, saying "For an omelet, an air fryer may not be the optimal cooking device." They work fine in my cosori air fryer oven.
@@Sparky0566 lol - they haven't tried it yet, because frying eggs right in that pan was crazy easy!
I have a question for you and not sure where to ask. I like the info on the dual blaze. Will you ever do a review on their new smart air fryer toaster oven? It looks interesting, I have the old version of the reg cosori and I love it but I’m sure I will be in the market for a new one. Dual Blaze or air fryer toaster oven. Thanks
