I'm fixing to do this to a Ranger 500. Gonna be no room at all. Probably will remove the side plastics and gas tank to make it easier. Thanks for the video. Now I know a slide hammer is the way to go.
@@MrKalicat just coolant. I tore the entire engine down and split the case. Replace the pump bearings and shaft. Took my time installing everything. Was in no hurry. Honestly I'm about to just roll this thing off a cliff.

How did you remove the outer seal??
Hi i used a screw with slide hammer to remove the seal the center of the seal just broke off
If my atv is only leaking antifreeze from the weep hole . Do I need to replace the oil seal too. Or just the first seal 🤔
No you could just change the antifreeze seal .

What did you use to install the water pump seal
I used a socket
Face palm. How did you install the mechanical seal. The video skips that part. Not sure why lol.
I just used a socket the size of the outside diameter of the seal and taped it in doesn't take much force
@@MrKalicat So, mine leaks from the weep hole after installing new pump and seals.
@@futuregamer5791 what is leaking oil or antifreeze maybe a seal was damaged on install or perhaps the shaft is worn

@@futuregamer5791 so it's the outer seal don't think I can be much help you went alot further than I did maybe try another seal.
