I had no idea that the conversion was just fittings and refrigerant. I thought the a/c pump and hoses needed to be replaced. Thank you.

awesome to see the iroc out and on the channel again! I recently bought a 89 with a 305 TPI and man your videos are helping alot! Especially your timing video it helped so much. If you ever can maybe record you driving this car around on a cruise and maybe getting on it? haha enjoy the videos hopefully you figure this AC fittings out as we are nearing the summer AC is gonna be needed big time.

Hi there from England. I have a 1987 IROC, I have replaced the drier, condenser and all the seals ready for r134a. My only problem is that there is one Schrader valve located on the hard line which runs along the frame rail on the passenger side, it wont come out and I snapped the tool off inside it. What is that valve even for, if you connect the lines directly to the drier anyway? I don't know if I even need to bother with it. Cheers.
How did you stop the leak again ? I’m having the same leak problem from my 1988 Z28

Did it get colder once you got it Rollin out on the highway?
Not really, it was low on Freon.

To be honest I've never had it out, nor am I sure where it is located. I would guess under the dash, passenger side.
