My MTEN4 is 50 miles away. It will be on my doorstep tomorrow. This is what FM gets for not having a battery solution. Can't wait to ride it. My new safety gear is already here.
As for picking up the light by the sharp rim, may I suggest you make the ring protector (that you already have), extrude about a quarter circle's worth (bottom quarter of ring) down to the sharp rim, then have the plastic curl around the rim? That way it will be a single piece, and may be held in better.
Placing the bike on it's side then in kickstand mode is a cool trick. Thanks for sharing.

It's not DOT rated but it is wind tunnel tested - technically a skydiving helmet - I have a crappy vid on my channel but I promised someone I would throw something up (it's a BAD video with WORSE audio) so you can see both the Bonehead Composites Fusion and Dynamic models (I ordered the Fusion but it's not really for my type of head shape, and yes, it actually matters all jokes aside) as I kind of fumble through features/fit/finish/observations.
They're about 50 bucks more than a TSG Pass or high end modular styles (Bonehead has same price for their three main styles, 440 USD) , but they are featherlight and you can't see them when you are wearing them, either model I tried was basically invisible to me, as far as field of view (even though the Fusion was VERY uncomfortable for my head shape, it was like wearing a skull clamp made of air). After a brief consult with them, thinking I had measured wrong, they responded "no you did fine and for what you describe you probably want the Dynamic model, which we already put an order in the build queue when you emailed because we were 99% certain that was the issue; here's a printable return label for UPS the Fusion back to us and your Dynamic model should be up in a couple weeks on a priority build".
They're not cheap, no. They're not fast, no. The service - amazing. The helmet - amazing.
I tried various flight and luge helmets but nothing I wanted was anywhere near my price range...then I found skydiving helmets, which are good enough for banging off trees when you're falling from the sky, even though they're not DOT rated I figured that was probably good enough for the riding that I do.
I wouldn't put it against a bollard at 50MPH but then again, you're pudding in a cup already at that point no matter whether your helmet survives.

I have that same helmet. If you use a bumper pad for infants in the face it's really comfortable and adds extra padding in a crash.. for those who don't know they run a bit small so get a larger size as they are a tad small (made for people in India)

    • @EUCWayOfLife
      @EUCWayOfLife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Ya if I could have got a 620 I would have but 600 seems to fit me "okay" and the padding inside is definitely not the softest on the forehead...
Another trick when you start the lift the face sheild up you'll feel a point where it stop or gets tighter before opening all the way like 10-15% open. LEAVE it in this position on hot days, it vents super well, keeps most bugs out and it shuts up air onto your face and the inner shield to prevent fogging.

returning my S22 and buying at least one of these. For Sure.
I can't trust my S22...every time I think about using it, I think about all the videos Rev Rides had me watch to do the tests...even if it continues to pass the tests, I feel like it could die at any moment and I don't want to be doing 50MPH or sending off a 3 foot drop when it happens.

Hey good vid, excited to get mine in 2 days. That's excellent range for that wheel. I hope they update it to allow a kill switch because I don't know if I want to pick it up by the front with my fingers so close to the tire in case it decides to take off. My only dilemma is which color protection package to get. Did you get black back in stock? It's a tie between that and yellow for the little dude. A street tire arrived today for it at my home, but I'm going to keep that stock tire on until it's worn out. It reminds me of an old school Panasonic TNT 8-track tape player, lol. Crocs matched the color scheme.

Also with the wheel at that much of an angle I 100% doubt the motor would ever engage even if setting it back down or I wouldn't be telling people to do it hahaha

As someone who has owned unicycles from Inmotion and Leaper Kim, I must say the production quality and design of the Begode Mten4 are disastrous in comparison. It’s basically two metal plates with no aesthetic design, very rough around the edges and extremely easy to catch your hands on, potentially causing injury. The transparent cover also came with permanent, glue-like stains that could only be fixed by replacing it, requiring disassembly. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not recognize this as a defect and refuses a refund. I strongly advise against purchasing this model due to its poor craftsmanship and lack of customer support.

Well I have Tesla T3 for city riding and V12HT for the rest of my rides. T3 is crazy small already with such power and range and 16inch tire :D. I think Mten4 is more gimmick than a proper wheel. Built guality is also not that great either... It is awesome that it is possible to put such power and battery in so small package, but why adult men needs such a tiny wheel? :D T3 is already so small that nobody cares about it. If I want tiny wheel for short distance, there is already V5F on the market for ages. it is also small, light has troley handle, it is waterproof.... I do not get the hype about Mten4 :D

Hype is just for those that want the wheel, are curious about the wheel, want a SUPER small wheel, are switching over from a OW, etc.
My friend rides OW and bought an mten4 because it's safer, rides better, packs in his truck easier and cost less than 1/2 of his GT.
You can not fit a t3 or v5f in a backpack... For those that commute to college, school etc. I'd much rather have something small enough to put in my back then have to trolley it everywhere or leave it somewhere because I "can't bring it in class".
