I saw Zappa in 1975. The crowd rushed the stage. He told them to stop, sit down, so the people in the back could see. Then the entire show was him playing and skat singing. He had an anoyed look on his face at one point at the end of the show. The last song he played was : "The Idiot Bastard Son". That was a great concert. It featured this woman playing the zylaphone. That was the only electric percussion instrument at that time. That's what I was told anyway back then by an expert jazz drummer. I read that Lou Reed didn't like Zappa's music. Well as Andy Warhol would say: " So What".
Zappa opened my mind and has made me unprejudiced with all kinds of sounds. The first time I was exposed to contemporary music, free jazz, all kinds of outsiders, it was thanks to him. he enriched my life with his music, and made me reach many other artists. plus of course it made me laugh out loud. It's crazy how Lou Reed hated Frank Zappa. Members of VU reckon Zappa screwed them over by pushing back their debut album by a year, so he could release his album first.
In the Days of Vinyl Monday Past I've found a favourite. A lovely relaxed discussion with you enthusing about your new stuff. Gratitude shines out and Paul must have felt elated. My fav would have been Benefit because I picked up a copy pre-owned, side one is perfect but side two clicky all way through. I also came away with Joni's Hejira where I think the paper inner sleeve had degraded into a white dust but the album plays lovely. What's Going On is a great exception as exceptions go. Collecting what you listen to and not heeding some guidelines that are some kind of Vinyl bible just emphasizes how you think for yourself. In this early video I found the natural individualism and enthusiasm of it's creator just irrisistable. So good A.
Love your videos, you are such a delight, I feel I know you! Wanting to tell you that yes indeed, Quadrophenia is also a great rock and roll movie. It comes w a dbl set soundtrack, different from THE WHO release. One side is older songs from other artists, like Louie Louie. That side also includes an early WHO song, I'm The Face. Then there are 3 sides of songs from THE WHO Quadrophenia album. Includes one song that is a rare WHO song entiled, Get Out Stay Out. Chk the movie and soundtrack out, I'm sure you'll love them! Rock On, Abigail!
1) No early Genesis? 2) Sooo jelly of your clear red Beatles ‘62-‘66. I have the clear blue ‘67-‘70 set. Bought it on 8/14/1980 (still have receipt). Went back to store hoping to find red vinyl, no luck. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Abby, I just recently stumbled across your chanel, and I love it. Congrats on Tim Buckley and Smith. I got my copy of A Group Called Smith also last year and I really like it. Now I am trying to watch all of your videos, wish me good luck with that.
I love how you show off nothing but 60s and 70s rock, but out of nowhere you show off Death Grips’s The Money Store and THAT’S the one you were the most excited for! 10/10 video, subscribed!

I found this channel three days ago and I've already watched all your videos; you're very charismatic Abby, keep doing what you do! Loved your Ziggy Stardust vid
Ope you'd kinda already answered my question on your most favorite Paul Simon songs in there heh heh. Sorry I can't watch all back episodes right away, these work pretty much like a universe trip since it's like seeing a categorically-superior version of me etc etc, having to turn it off, "can't handle" type thing. (sorry the only other nickname aside from Abbus/"the Abbess" that came right away was "Flashback", which is damn clichéd, normal and drug-specific). These hit freakin hard but same as with..."that", it eventually comes back around to being the greatest stuff I've ever seen. oh hey somethin from "the Bay, man" lol, love QMS except for Dino. I KNEW YOU HAD A COPY OF SMITH! Gayle McCormick rules on there
Some great records, Tim Buckley would be my pick of the bunch. If you have any interest in the UK mod scene of the 1960s Quadrophenia (the film) is a must watch.
I remember walking into a record store once and the cashier was freekin over my shirt, he had a " Back In The USA " shirt on. " We're swappin shirts , brah !! " lol. I'm sure they repop those shirts all the time now, but in those days, it was like finding hen's teeth. Always fun huntin' around eh !!
happy late birthday! it's nice to see you finally got a copy of Back in the USA! and you finding Tim Buckley is an interesting coincidence as I've been listening to that whole album today. also, big up Paul, whoever you may be!
Hi Abby, Happy belated Birthday ! Mine was July 24th ! I own that Kate Bush on cassette tape.Jethro Tull Benefit, Stand Up, and Aqualung are my favorite Tull. Beach Boys are always great, saw them in concert at MSG N.Y. on Thanksgiving late 70's. Quadraphenia,Magic Bus,Who's Next, My Generation, and The Who Sell Out my favorites.I was in love with Donovan when I was a teen,I always wanted that album you have "Wear Your Love Like Heaven" was used on a Loves Cosmetics commercial. I grew up with The Beatles,so I love every single album ! Kinks are "Legend". Do you own any The Zombies albums ? Great dress..looks like you raided my teenage closet ! Happiness, and Paisley, Cindy
i do have a zombies album! that record spinning in my intro and end screen is an awesome color pressing of Odyssey and Oracle. and thank you, happiness and paisley to you too!
That's a great bunch of records! When I was about 11 or so my older sister came home with Freak Out. She showed me the way... anyway I was WTF is this!! Mind blowing stuff. It Can't Happen Here is the most accessible tune and so true today, but other are indelible. Enjoy!! Spin on!!
MC5, I love the fact their ladies designed their stage clothes. I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but check out LOVE with Arthur Lee someday, the self titled first album, DaCapo, And Forever Changes are amazing classics. :)
YES that's one of my favorite nuggets of MC5 lore! i need to know what happened to what i call the "shiny disco pirate shirt" rob's wearing on the cover of KOTJ
@@abigaildevoe It was all of the cool metallic fabrics used to make those jackets that really got me. I love the fact the guys had no problem being so shiny. :)
Wow, you certainly have some generous and brilliant subscribers Abigail, some great additions to your collection there ! And your fella sounds like he has great taste in music as well, nice one. Belated Happy Birthday from England by the way !
The red and blue Beatles comps are the first albums I bought with my own money when I was but a wee lad. Original US press on Apple. But my favorite find of yours was A Group Called Smith. Love that one. Love Gayle McCormick’s voice. Wish she sang on more of the tracks. That’s a good one for a thrift store find.
Haha, that was me who spotted Endless Summer in your collection. ( actually, others did as well after the fact) Light a candle when you play Quadrophenia. It WILL change you life. Yes, the movie Quadrophenia is outstanding. Phil Daniels performance as Jimmy is something you'll never forget. A very young Sting plays the part of Ace, King of the mods.
@@abigaildevoe Yes, I've achieved my goal. LOL. It really is a distinctive album spine. Today's paisley print dress is a good match for Endless Summer. I'm hoping that your copy of Quadrophenia has the 40 page booklet included. It helps a lot when following the music even though it's just photographs with no written narrative.
Great collection and love your reviews. Noted James Taylor "Sweet Baby James" . I have had this and "Mud Slide Slim etc." on replay for over a week. Would rate the latter as better but both send me to such a happy place. He is just so laid back, love his natural voice, love the melodies and great backing musicians etc. But above all, many of his songs are full of "that loving feeling". Have a great Christmas. Keep doing what you're doing. Love it.
I loved the MC 5 as a teenager.I first heard them on a New York based cassette label called R O I R tapes. The song was Skunk(Sonically speaking)!!!! Life changing!!! For me.The root of punk rock. Thanks ❤
it's so cool that you were introduced to the 5 through their later material. i got to play "sister anne" for someone who'd only heard the KOTJ era stuff on a podcast recently, that was lots of fun
Another great video, Abby. Great to see 'Child is Father to the Man'. I showed that one. Don't you just love that eerie cover shot? My UK version doesn't have the rear red spattered artwork.
Love listening to you talking & fangirling about music, cover art and records! So naturally, I'd really love to get a video with 60s/70s book recommendations from you! Stay groovy Abby♡
great records,! among of those you have showed my fav are ,ten years after with " a space in time" , jethro tull with " benefit " and both of creedence clearwater revival
Great score at the Good Will. Congrats ! Big fan of Donovan too. Surf's Up has some real gems on it. I was able to get Feel Flows: The Sunflower & Surf's Up Sessions 1969-1971, such a joy. My favorite Steve Miller Band releases are the first four albums, 1968-1969, I guess that means his psychedelic period. Excellent, entertaining presentation. All the best to you !
I'm British and I discovered this album in 1974. My girlfriend at the time had a few Beach Boys records which she liked to play, we were at high school. Her brother was at college and he left his uncool records behind at home. I liked the album and thought it was pleasant. My friends were not so kind and thought it was just dated 1960s pop. They liked British rock bands like Pink Floyd, Yes, The Who, Zeppelin, Crimson, Deep Purple, and Sabbath. The list was endless, as many bands had recording contracts. My generation never understood why Brian Wilson was considered a genius. It sounds a lot like elevator music.
Nice acquisitions! My favorite of the bunch is probably the Howlin' Wolf LP, because he's my favorite blues artist. Ziggy is my second pick---that looks like a nice copy.
I am a huge Doors fan, but I always liked the Dennis Leary joke about how we didn't need a 2 1/2 hr movie about them. Leary said he could some it up in 10 secounds. Jim Morrison, I'm drunk I'm nobody, I'm drunk I'm famous, I'm drunk I'm dead, end of story. Ok that was very insensitive I know. I heard a radio interview with Ray Manzaric twords the end of his life. He said that Oliver Stone should've remembered that it was he that was the college drop out, and Jim Morrison that graduated from the UCLA school of cinema with honors. I still think that Jim Morrison would have gone onto a huge career if it wasn't for all the factors that destroyed him. I know a girl who went to see them in concert. She said that Morrison spent most of the last part of the show, under the stage with the microphone, daring anyone to come under the stage and fight him. Was he out of control? Yes for sure. Was he the Rock and Roll equivalent of Earnest Hemmingway. To me he was.
a rock-and-roll hemingway...i like it. if jim had lived longer, i like to think he would've quit rock-and-roll to be a writer for the page and screen. it's where his heart was
I have a good majority of the records you got there. Surf’s Up is one of the best (yet weirdest) album in The Beach Boys catalog and Goats Head Soup is the Stones most underrated album. I happen to have a copy of Hurdy Gurdy Man, great psychedelic album. Great video!!!
this video makes me want to visit a record store again lol, i went to two record stores recently but couldn't purchase anything just yet, i found a nick drake record and somehow didn't cave in haha. also my fave record off of this video is surf's up by the beach boys for sure cause i'm a massive beach boys fan :)
Awesome you love the Beach Boys. It is my youngest daughter's favorite band. I took her to see them for her 13th birthday a few years back. During the concert she told me she wanted to meet Mike Love. Long story short, she got to meet Mike Love and he autographed her Beach Boys baseball cap. Talk about being the best dad ever! lol
Other artists you should do are Rory Gallagher, Little Feat albums from the debut up until Feats don't fail me now, Stooges Fun House, David Bowie's Aladdin Sane and the Kinks Something Else.
great Abby video, we all want everyday's video from you-we are poor creatures lol love your "hi hi hi" when you show the mc5 lp lol it's like a little girl in a candy shop re-lol you show my favorite who album "quadrophenia" (i don't like the movie from 1979)-love the beach boys-the byrds -the beatles (thanks to paul for sending these great albums) -byyye !!!!😉😉😊😊😇😇
Wow!!! can you really surprised me with that Howlin Wolf record that's a good one.. & the MC5 You didn't strike me as a 60's-70's woman!! OK yes I'm hooked already and I subscribe to your channel and I'm going to check out your other channel I have / Had just about every one you showed (this is my 3rd collection now up to 5,000 Lp's) That ten years after is amazing> I got all there stuff check out Live at the Fillmore it's the yellow covered one from 1970 or 71 amazing!!!! You can take all of your Jimi Hendrix's & all of your Eric Clapton's & all of your Jimmy Page's nothing will compare Alvin Lee he is one of the most underrated guitar players ever in my book!!! a group called Smith another good one. You surprised me with Frank Zappa is one of my favorite musical composers I have everything that guy ever made Enjoy Happy Spinning.
wow some awesome albums there, love cosmos factory and pretty much everything else, agree love crate digging in charity stores, you can turn up some real gems amongst the crap, best ones ive found are john mayalls blues from luarel canyon and elvis is dead by the cramps, love to see more updates
Donovan's Greatest Hits was another heavy rotation in my Mom's household - love it. My personal fave is COSMIC WHEELS; not his most popular, but it's his glam record and, frankly, Marc Bolan borrowed a good chunk of Donovan mojo to begin with so... I'm heavy on glam rock, it's a major rabbit hole!
Hey Abigail-what a fun video! Howlin' Wolf is one o' the greatest ever. Check out his other classic albums. Back In The USA is also my favorite MC5 album. Al Jardine (Beach Boys) lives in Big Sur 'n I run into him from time to time in Carmel. A rare double Donovan album I highly recommend is HMS Donovan. Kathy's Song is also a favorite. Check out the original version on Paul Simon's first solo album, The Paul Simon Songbook. Do you have James Taylor's first album on Apple Records? He went to England 'n The Beatles signed him. Fantastic! Quadrophenia is one o' my favorite Who albums but I pretty much recommend any o' their early releases. I especially like A Quick One While He's Away. Benefit is my favorite Jethro Tull album-I first saw them live on the Benefit tour-but I must admit I'm a Jethro Tull fanatic 'n highly recommend any 'n all o' their early records. I bought Freak Out! when it was new 'n collected all Mothers O' Invention albums. We're Only In It For The Money is a MUST LISTEN! Check out Steve Miller Band's first two albums-Children O' The Future 'n Sailor. 'N pay special attention to the track My Dark Hour on the Anthology album you have-Paul McCartney on drums 'n backin' vocals! Keep up the good work-Best wishes from John.
all great recommendations, thank you! i don't have JT's apple records album but i love his cover of "in my life" i've been getting big into the who since my episode on Tommy, my favorite of theirs so far is The Who Sell Out. and the rolling stones rock and roll circus performance of "a quick one" is in the rotation as well!
I now know you have Elton in your collection but now i’m wondering do you have any Genesis? At least the Peter Gabriel years? I could spot the spine of Jimi Hendrix “Axis: Bold As Love” from a far in one of your videos.
@@abigaildevoe Thanks. That's the problem when English is not your, no my, first language :) After the self-titled album they called them 3 and 4. By the way, my favorite album is "Freak Out!" and I bought it the first time when I was 12 in 1967.
Howlin` wolf London Sessions is a joy Abby..if you don`t hate cd`s there is a deluxe version of this with 28 tracks and some very interesting liner notes..
My buddy used to run into Rob Tyner at a local party/liquor store before he passed. He lived in a suburb of Detroit until his death. Tyner always dressed in black even on very hot summer days. Always Mr. Cool!
@@abigaildevoe He lived in Berkley Michigan just four miles from Detroit. Just a regular old neighborhood with houses sitting right next to each other. He wasn’t rich, just a normal guy with a wife and kids. Hard to believe that he’s already been gone for more than than thirty years. By the way, I really enjoy your taste in music. It’s refreshing! Have a great day!
Great acquisitions! I've been collecting records since Christmas and I've been enjoying it. There's a lot of music-related TH-camrs you should connect with. You deserve more exposure on TH-cam.
thank you! i don't know of many other music youtubers, i joined the vinyl community by accident haha. it'd be cool to know other people in this corner of youtube!
@@abigaildevoe There's plenty of music people on TH-cam. I recommend hitting up MicTheSnare, Trash Theory, Crash Thompson, and Spectrum Pulse. They all share great musical insights and I'm sure they would love to meet you.
Marvin Gaye what a find. I use to listen to Siting on the dock of the bay on the radio when I was a kid. What do you think about Rolling Stones Metamorphosis? There's a lot of talent in the making of the LP. My favorite. I love your channel. Never could find a woman who liked my kind of music like you do. Peace be with you.
Glad to hear you found a copy of the Beatles Red album. Wonder if you've ever seen the movie, Nowhere Boy? I think you can stream it. All about John's childhood right up to the point of leaving for the US and Beatlemania. You might enjoy it.
Some good finds and vclts. Target had a massive vinyl sale the last 2w and I got a few. I got a minty Smith album a couple years ago 15$. Very sonically good recording. I got the 2nd one later. The debut is better🤩
4:16 I am actually kind of shook that you have DG on vinyl! I have "The Money Store" and "Bottomless Pit" on CD an they sound great so I don't don't know if I need it on vinyl. ⚪🕳️ It's fun to see some newer experimental music on this channel.
been keeping up with your videos cause it really helps me know/discover music from the 60's and 70's since that seems to be the time periods of music youre most interested in surprised to see you like Death Grips ! id HIGHLY recommend Clipping if you haven't heard them cause they're similar . also you been to Vermont ? im in the New England area and I don't that many record shops besides Newbury (as you mentioned) and Armageddon in Providence/Boston
really cool of you to keep up with this channel man! it's a trek for me but turn it up and electric eye records out in northampton are both great new england spots. i fell out of love with newbury when they stopped selling used vinyl
I just listened to my Derek And The Dominos 20th Anniversary Layla Sessions and More... I know I didn't say that title right but I haven't listened to it in a while.. yesterday. I had not heard it in eons and I had a real craven to hear Thorntree in the Garden, the last track. I remember the first time I heard that song and it was on CD when that same release I just mentioned was put out in the 1990s. I love that song and it hit home back then and brings me back home today 😢 I always enjoy seeing people's collections and seeing what they like and get. I'm about to try and work out a ride, since I can't see well enough to drive anymore, and hit some of the many Goodwill stores in the Fort Worth area. I know a lot of the gems have been removed by other record collectors. But you never know when somebody might bring in a collection and drop it off where I might be the first person to come across it. I've also been going through the 400 plus albums that were given to me by a friend that was going to throw away his LPs or take them to Goodwill until he remembered me and asked if I wanted them. I've been going through them over the last month and have found some really awesome gems. This friend is older than me and had been stationed over in South Korea in the late '70s and early '80s as a US Army helicopter pilot. He bought all kinds of Korean pressings of American music. I've been trying to find many of these Korean, nowadays called South Korean, pressings on discogs. And they do have a lot of them but there are many nobody has added yet. I need to figure out how to go about adding all of the pertinent information and updating a few pressings of albums not there. One that I listened to today was Supertramp Breakfast in America. I had never owned that album and really hadn't heard a lot of it. It blew me away how Hi-Fi this pressing was for 1980. I'm still trying to figure out what the KECPP is, something that is written on the back of many of these South Korean pressings, and I think it is their Ministry of Culture and Information in South Korea? I don't know for sure? But it's fun going through and learning as I make my way through these albums. He had almost everything he gave me boxed up perfectly and in mint condition for the most part. Anyway, I can't proofread this message today but I just wanted to leave a comment and say I'm enjoying seeing what new records you have got. That is always so much fun finding things and getting them especially if the price is nice (And I'm not talking about those old record hype stickers that said The Nice Price haha). Please forgive any errors Google typed and I could not immediately correct or see in this post. But I got to run...
man, "thorn tree" has to be one of the best album closers ever. especially following the emotional onslaught that is "little wing," "it's too late," and of course the title track. it's tough not to get misty eyed after all that. i have that Layla sessions set! got it for maybe $20 because the guy at the record store was convinced a CD was missing. (a CD was not, in fact, missing) i hope you can work out that ride to continue your vinyl collecting adventures. and enjoy all your new acquisitions - that stuff from Korea sounds super cool! take care
@@abigaildevoe Thank you Abby and very well put and described! It's definitely an emotional ride in a good, remembering kind of way on the recordings and the way they are lined up On that Layla recording like you mentioned :-) And as the saying goes, where there's a will there's a way. And I always find a way to get by the local record stores and do some shopping. I sometimes get a friend to drop me off while they're doing whatever it is they have to do as they are out running around. I'll do my browsing and shopping and then get picked up by them when they're done with their running around haha. I love it and I could spend the day in a record store and still not look at everything. It's definitely a passion we have in this hobby 👍👍 I like to think of it as a way of life finding the historic and soul speaking music 🎶😁🎶
I wish I was a good looking girl iso an ugly old gorilla . I am so jealous . But Abby nakes good use of all the wonderful gifts. Now I'm gonna get some tissues to get the envie drool off my face. That poster is incredible x5.

I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but check out LOVE with Arthur Lee someday, the self titled first
album, DaCapo, And Forever Changes are amazing classics.
( actually, others did as well after the fact)
Light a candle when you play Quadrophenia. It WILL change you life. Yes, the movie Quadrophenia is outstanding. Phil Daniels performance as Jimmy is something you'll never forget. A very young Sting plays the part of Ace, King of the mods.
so it was you!! well now you've made it into the canon of comments i've mentioned in videos haha
Love it.
Belated Happy Birthday from another June baby! The Kinks' "Low Budget" came out in 1979.
FREAK OUT! YES
Love listening to you talking & fangirling about music, cover art and records! So naturally, I'd really love to get a video with 60s/70s book recommendations from you! Stay groovy Abby♡
Wow, congrats, great stuff!
They are all great acquisitions. The Beach Boys are all my favorites. Love your channel. :)
I also like so pick up some vinyl when traveling! Once I literally had to pack 15 records in my carry on..
Great finds almost all of them. Enjoy them with your new headphones!!!
great records,! among of those you have showed my fav are ,ten years after with " a space in time" , jethro tull with " benefit " and both of creedence clearwater revival
Loving this. Subscribed
thanks, welcome to this long strange trip!
I've got a white label promo of Back in the USA! Cool find :)
Another great video and congrats on all the acquisitions 🤘🏻😎✌🏻
To me he was.
a rock-and-roll hemingway...i like it. if jim had lived longer, i like to think he would've quit rock-and-roll to be a writer for the page and screen. it's where his heart was
My Goodbye Cream doesn't have "Spoonful" on it, but the live "Sitting On Top of the World" has what I think is Clapton's fastest playing.
I love this channel so much, Abby! ❤️ My mom had the Howling Wolf London Sessions and Steve Miller Anthology on 8-track way back in my childhood.
Haha! You gotta love some CCR girl.
My birthday was also in June and I mainly bought records 😂 my fav album is
definitely the Beatles one
this video makes me want to visit a record store again lol, i went to two record stores recently but couldn't purchase anything just yet, i found a nick drake record and somehow didn't cave in haha. also my fave record off of this video is surf's up by the beach boys for sure cause i'm a massive beach boys fan :)
Talk about being the best dad ever! lol
that's so sweet, a best-ever dad moment! she'll remember that forever!
Hard to say which ones my favourite. They're all pretty much up my ally 'n the ones i don't know I listen to.
Keep up the videos :]
Wow!!! can you really surprised me with that Howlin Wolf record that's a good one..
I LOVE YOUR MAKE UP
wow some awesome albums there, love cosmos factory and pretty much everything else, agree love crate digging in charity stores, you can turn up some real gems amongst the crap, best ones ive found are john mayalls blues from luarel canyon and elvis is dead by the cramps, love to see more updates
Ry Cooder's Into the purple valley and Paradise and Lunch are both amazing albums
Great show, great fun as always. Just gotta love todays outfit too! Even Twiggy would´ve been jelaous. Take care and cheers!
thanks so much!
The Byrds Fifth Demension and Sweetheart of the Rodeo are both classics. Tim Buckley's Greetings from LA is one of the greatest albums ever made.
Don't forget The Rutles "Ouch."
Peace on earth.
Maybe I misunderstood you but Child is Father to the Man is the debut album of Blood, Sweat and Tears and the selt titled is no 2. Great collection.
yes, i say “first self-titled” because they did 3 self-titled albums after child is father
Hey Abby! First off, happy belated birthday!! I’m a new subscriber 😁 love your enthusiasm! Keep it up!
thanks so much!
@@abigaildevoe you’re welcome!
My buddy used to run into Rob Tyner at a local party/liquor store before he passed. He lived in a suburb of Detroit until his death. Tyner always dressed in black even on very hot summer days. Always Mr. Cool!
mr. cool indeed. this anecdote may seem simple to you but it means the world to me - if only i could pin more than one comment!!
Love your channel!
One on One is my favorite Cheap Trick lp
Marvin Gaye what a find. I use to listen to Siting on the dock of the bay on the radio when I was a kid. What do you think about Rolling Stones Metamorphosis? There's a lot of talent in the making of the LP. My favorite. I love your channel. Never could find a woman who liked my kind of music like you do. Peace be with you.
What a catch .That JL Hooker is on my search list for 35 year. You must be a very rich gurl.
Quadrophenia is a good movie. Sting is in it. Check it out.
If you have the album iron butterfly in-Agadda-da-vida you can vinyl monday it dressed -in a godess Davi da or simpsons in a garden of eden🤔😁
it'd probably be another GTOs look haha. miss sparky was a big iron butterfly fan and recorded bootlegs of quite a few of their shows!
4:16 I am actually kind of shook that you have DG on vinyl!
I have "The Money Store" and "Bottomless Pit" on CD an they sound great so I don't don't know if I need it on vinyl. ⚪🕳️
It's fun to see some newer experimental music on this channel.
7:37 🤣
Pre or Post Gene Clark; which do you prefer, Ms. Abby?
been keeping up with your videos cause it really helps me know/discover music from the 60's and 70's since that seems to be the time periods of music youre most interested in
surprised to see you like Death Grips ! id HIGHLY recommend Clipping if you haven't heard them cause they're similar .
also you been to Vermont ? im in the New England area and I don't that many record shops besides Newbury (as you mentioned) and Armageddon in Providence/Boston
really cool of you to keep up with this channel man! it's a trek for me but turn it up and electric eye records out in northampton are both great new england spots. i fell out of love with newbury when they stopped selling used vinyl
I love that song and it hit home back then and brings me back home today 😢
I always enjoy seeing people's collections and seeing what they like and get.
(a CD was not, in fact, missing)
i hope you can work out that ride to continue your vinyl collecting adventures. and enjoy all your new acquisitions - that stuff from Korea sounds super cool! take care
@@abigaildevoe Thank you Abby and very well put and described! It's definitely an emotional ride in a good, remembering kind of way on the recordings and the way they are lined up On that Layla recording like you mentioned :-)
And as the saying goes, where there's a will there's a way.
Abigail, have you ever listened to any Mothers of Invention?
I wish I was a good looking girl iso an ugly old gorilla . I am so jealous . But Abby nakes good use of all the wonderful gifts. Now I'm gonna get some tissues to get the envie drool off my face. That poster is incredible x5.
THE ALBUM YOU MIGHT HAVE ! A SPACE IN TIME ?
I hope you find the #1holy grail 45single-led zeppelin-aside-dancing days bside-hey hey what can I do🤞😎
Early Wolf a necessity
Bad to the bone . Anthem of my youth in A'dam.
