Blind Hem Tutorial Using a Janome Computerized Sewing Machine - Montavilla Sewing

Lesson on how to do a blind hem using a Janome computerized sewing machine. This lesson was done using the Janome 3160, but the information in this video can be applied to any Janome, Elna, Bernette, or Necchi sewing machine that has the blind hem stitch. The stitch number may be different on your machine, but the process and machine settings are the same.

These videos are an absolute life saver. I just bought a Janome 3160 machine after sewing on on the same antiquated machine for the last 30 years. Having the videos is so helpful especially because the instruction booklet that comes with the machine isn't very detailed. Don't know what I'd do without your help. Thanks so much!!!

When I use this foot it keeps sewing into the hole left, so all it does is go from the hole to the right and of course everything locks up. What am I doing wrong?

Hi does this apply to the Bernette38b as well?

This Would be more Similar to the Bernette B37. The B38 would resemble the Janome 4120. But other than the method for stitch selection, Yes!
