I feel so privileged when I listen to this demo. I've been listening to Otyg since 2005-2006, and at one point I had all of their songs on my HDD. Back in the day, we'd download music from the internet... this was before apple music or spotify. I'd spend hours and days listening to all kinds of band in the folk metal genre. When I found Otyg I knew right away that I had found gold. The melodies and the atmosphere are very unique, and the lyrics captivating. Reading the songs text (wisdom/witchcraft/folklore) felt like discovering the world of heathens and magical beings. You paid good service to the community of heathens uploading this masterpiece.
If ever there was a band that was truly slept on. It's NUTS how they haven't blown up even if they've sung in Swedish. Eluveitie doesn't sing in English either and even if their older stuff is just as solid gold as Otyg, it makes me sad that Otyg hasn't gotten the recognition they truly deserve
