@istunark there's a plethora of videos online with people not wearing gear and speeding on gsxrs. The term squid means you don't wear gear and have no regard for your own safety. As someone with 2 gsxrs 1 is a 600 and the other a 1000 I could say for sure these are some of the best bikes ever made I've had an r1 and zx6r as well and rode a few cruisers but the stereotype is built because they are really cheap bikes and go stupid fast which is the main appeal

Dude I had a Neon lol. First car I bought in the Army in Columbus, GA. Got it brand new when they first came out, no power windows, no power seats, no power steering, no radio, no ac, manual transmission with cloth seats smh. All I got was an engine, bodywork and payments. Yes they got me, build credit they said smh.

i wouldnt knock ruroc too much, their 4.0 definitely just saved my life last week, i crashed and got catapulted at 60+ and landed face first. both femurs broken, tib/ fib amd collar bone, full gear. lucky to be alive, id trust ruroc with my life again
Man, you ain't lying about WA. Driven in every major city on east and west coast. Jacksonville FL is the worst, IMHO. Because they obviously know the right way to drive, but don't care. It's mad max there. People literally having gun battles on the freeway at speed. WA was way different. I fell like they literally just ignorant of every traffic law or consideration. Ask them why they just moved into a lane without signaling and cut someone off, they probably don't know they have signals and don't understand right of way at all. Florida's know who has right of way....he with the most horsepower. Hence the insurance being highest there. I really miss WA state.
How come you guys can speed on the highway and don´t get caught? I mean, it´s on camera? Overhere they go after the youtubers. And jail´em. Is there a rule there that you have to physically get pulled over by cops in order to get tickets or what? We got licence plate camera´s all over the place and get fines via the mail.

Like I know people who swear any brand is reliable and others who will say they aren't. Maybe the Japanese bikes hold up to more abuse but if you don't abuse your bike I bet they all do just fine. I own a ICON MESH AF Jacket, Ruroc Atlas 4.0 and a 06 GSXR 600 (Purchased on the 14th). I feel singled out xD None the less I think I look shwanky and Im loving the GSXR huge upgrade from my Ninja 300. Ganna take it slow and learn the bike before my transformation sets in and the flip flops comes out and my tentacles come in. But fr tho nah fuck that speed is cool and all but I like living and taking in scenery more. I might not have anything to come home to as or right now but Ik i will one day.
Great video. I was really into the Aprilla 1100 Factory when it came out. I like the 1000 too. I believe it is a razor sharp handling bike from reviews I have watched and read. It's not in my price range at this time and dealers are not in my area so it would be a major road trip just to go look at one. I was 18 when I started riding in 1981 so the Japanese Big 4 are burned into my DNA 😆 Honda came out with the V-4 Interceptor sportbike line in 1984. 500, 750 and 1000cc. They had a strong, linear, power band. Yamaha had the V4 Magna which was a cruiser and the V4 Sabre which was more sporty. Later Yamaha came out with the VMax. Suzuki's V4 500 Gamma was a 2-stroke if I remember correctly. There were many great bikes over the last 40 years that I have been riding. It is fun to remember them and the ones I have ridden. Italian bikes are handcrafted boutique bikes, meticulously assembled, therefore cost per unit is much higher. Japanese manufacturing as a whole is built around the keiretsu system with streamlined JIT manufacturing processes focusing on quality volume meaning the cost per unit is lower.

Shoei X-12 MM LE or a X-14, Alpinestars Gp full leather gloves, RST Kevlar jeans or my Herioc full suit, Sidi Vertigo 2’s always! I would put any Japanese bike up against any manufacturer! 1/2 oil content hooked to a dyno left full throttle for 24 hours. Every Japanese motor will make it but every European bike will be dead! They don’t win a Suzuka 24 hour. They went 500cc 2 stoke to 800cc 4 stroke to 1000cc 4 stroke! Zuk is working on electric bikes because MOTO Gp is going electric. Stay safe Bruddah

Triumph is annoying 🤡 bikes sat at eurocycle waiting to get fixed cause parts from italy took 3 months. Still gonna get the moto 2 daytona 765 tho🤣 lesson not learned. Thats why having 3 japanese bikes is good so you got spares lol

Thats why the street triples got sold. I think having one moto 2 daytona is as far as im gonna go from the japanese bikes since its so much faster to get parts for them when needed
