Wow great race! This is one of the closest I've seen so far. That 2nd Moldorm fight had me on the edge of my seat!

This shits awesome....So are item locations identical for each runner?....or can 1 Runner open 10 chests and get all rqrd items and win?
They use identical seeds so they are guaranteed identical item placement, but no one, not even the commentators, know what is actually in the race.

So why is Andy allowed to skip Moldorm? Not sure what the point of calling it a tournament with hovering allowed. Z4TOX got robbed. Why not alliw wall clipping since that allows you to skip Moldorm also?
It is not out of bounds. Floating is a "minor" glitch. Only thing not allowed is out of bounds. I agree with you, I think fake flippers, dark rooms and floating should not be allowed.
You know what else would have gotten Z4TOX the game? Not falling to Moldorm 3 times. Hovering there saves 5 seconds with the sword they had, 10 seconds with MS. It's really not that big a deal. Out of bounds allows you to skip everything; hovering allows you to skip hookshot (that's all), and that comes up maybe once or twice out of every hundred times because of how often Swamp boss is required.
Hovering is useful in maybe 5 situations, and all of them are risky. Every hover attempt takes around 10 seconds, and most of the time it takes 15 to go the "long" way around. Plus, you need to mash the button really fast, so much so that it's a skill and not a cheat.
Should we also ban using the hookshot and mirror to skip moving blocks? How about bomb jumps? Why don't we just remove everything that requires skill and effort entirely?
it saves more like 8-12s (with tempered) :) but yeah, of course hovering is allowed and super fine. andy is the better player anyway, so he deserves the win
