Allll the cozies! I love them because they can be so calming in a world of chaos, lol. I’m glad you liked my pick, even if Keisha tried to steal it from me 😉
Awwww! Happy Heart! Both you and Lauren putting out cozy mystery vids on the same morning! Making the gma in me smile! Thanks again for having coffee with me💞🫂~3~
Franklin looks like the cutest town!💕 I get in cozy mystery book moods every once in a while. They are just really easy quick reads. Dark & Stormy is on my TBR
Some of my favorite cozy mystery series are Poppy Mccalister, League of Literary Ladies and The skeleton in the family 😊 they all just have great vibes!
Glad you liked these! I’ve only read a handful of cozy mysteries and I wasn’t a fan, but I am not ruling them out altogether. I do like cozy fantasies, though. :)
So happy you made this video! Cozy mystery is a newer genre for me and so far I’m loving it. My favorite cozy mystery would have to be In the Company of Witches!!
Gurl. Same. But are we surprised? 😂 I have never given a 5 star to a cozy, and I have the exact same thoughts as to why. But I have loved some of them! And enjoy them as palate cleansers. But it’s just hard for me to love them. Live and let chai was my 4 star one 👏🏻 love Bree baker.
I fell in love with Cozies years ago. I read series over the years as kids grow up. Went to college etc. it’s amazing. I have 5 star cozies. Always will be
I love a good cozy! A Dark & Stormy Murder is on my TBR! I love any series by Ellie Alexander. Her Sloan Kraus series is my fav, and I’m a couple of books in to her Meet Your Baker series and liking it so far.
I've actually never read a cozy mystery before but since you and some other content creators that I watch like them so much, I'm kind of intrigued and I wanna try one now 🤭
I went to the Ashland Cozy Mystery Festival in October and it was amazing! I think sometimes it can be difficult to find more "serious" cozies out there, but I would recommend Ellie Alexander's Bakeshop Mystery series. The first ones is one of my favorites. I would also recommend: -Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderer's -Murder and Mamon -Dial A for Aunties -Death by Dumpling All are really good, and I think are slightly less cheesy than the typical cozy is!
My favorite cosy mysteries series right now is the dale detectives by Julia Chapman. So so underrated. It's about a special agent who run away from London, and return to his hometown in the Yorkshire but he's hated by everyone. It's so funny and the characters are so lovable. We have murders to resolve, a lot of tea with milk, romance, the pov of the dog... And the series is really well noted on goodreads too if you're not convinced yet ahah (leelys)
Booksandlala has read and recommended some cozy mysteries! She tends to read what I think of more “modern” cozies, like Jessie Q Sutano rather than traditional cozies. You might like Gigi Pandian as a cozy author too.
The false hope that you were about to say 5 stars and then you didn’t. BUT 5 stars in different genres mean different things for me. So I think a 5 star “cozy” is still a 5 star! 👏😂
You read 2 of my absolute favorite cozies in this video! Love that! My rec for you is: “In the Company of Witches by Auralee Wallace ✔️paranormal cozy ✔️deals with GRIEF ✔️made me ugly CRY! 😭 Please vlog your reading it!
This is just a thought, what if you did a read prompt in your reading journal of what you think a five star cozy mystery looks like? I mean you had a few that were above 4 stars. I think if you ask your self what are they missing to not be a five star…. It will help you find your standard on a five star for a cozy mystery.
But I agree with you, I don't give a 5 star for a cosy mystery or even for romances...I usually give them a 3.5 or 4. My absolute fave books are fantasy and mémoires.... But I love reading them too because they're entertaining.
Does it really matter if cozy mysteries aren't trending? I've been a huge cozy mystery reader for a while now. Also, for me a lot of them are 5 stars. If you never give a single cozy a 5 star, then it might not be the genre for you.
That’s what I was saying. It’s sad to me they don’t trend because they do deserve more attention. ☺️ I love that they’re 5 stars for you like some of my friends! 👏🏻 I can accept that they’re a fun genre I like reading sometimes but maybe won’t be 5 stars. Not everything I read needs to be 5 stars for me to enjoy it.
WAIT!! A strong brother sister dynamic??? Ok I muuuust read it soon now!!! 😍😍😍
Yes! You should love it!
Loved the video! And love that you made the drink from the book I always found it super cute that they put recipes in the cozy books
SO glad you enjoyed ALL of these 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🥹🥹🥹🥹🩷🩷🩷

Cozy mysteries are my go to for seasonal vibes! You can find a good cozy for honestly any holiday or season
I agree!
I fell in love with Cozies years ago. I read series over the years as kids grow up. Went to college etc. it’s amazing. I have 5 star cozies. Always will be
I love that! Finding our genre is so rewarding!
So glad u made this vid because I love a good cozy but don’t know where to start. I’ve only read some on my kindle.😊
I love a good cozy! A Dark & Stormy Murder is on my TBR!

I’m convinced! That sounds cute!
My ONLY 5 star cozy is Crime and Poetry by Amanda Flower 💕
I don’t know why but I just didn’t love that one.😭
@ Aww! 😆 I’m glad you found some good ones, even if they aren’t 5 ⭐️ it sounds like you had a good time with them! 🥰
Not us both posting a cozy mystery reading vlog on the same day 🥰🤭🥹 besties for suuuure hahaha
I haven’t been able to watch yet but such a bestie 👏🏻🩷

I read that one two years ago and really liked it too!

I think if you ask your self what are they missing to not be a five star…. It will help you find your standard on a five star for a cozy mystery.
I think I just have to accept that I enjoy this genre plenty but maybe won’t ever rate one as an all time favorite book which is okay too ☺️
Franklin is one of the best towns in Tennessee.
💯

Hello Beautiful ❤
I've tried cozy mysteries and discovered that I don't like them.
Does it really matter if cozy mysteries aren't trending? I've been a huge cozy mystery reader for a while now. Also, for me a lot of them are 5 stars. If you never give a single cozy a 5 star, then it might not be the genre for you.

I do still think you’ll also enjoy The Secret Book and Scone Society! 🫶
I will still try that one too
