plus he doesn't seem to realize a good amount of athiests were raised to believe in god. They just realized at some point that to them it doesn't make sense and they stopped believing.

My local gym wouldn't let me do any weight training without a spotter even though I told them Jesus was always right by me. Their lack of faith is bringing me a lack of gains.

I love how the second guy is like "we all have issues, you not getting to the gym is NOT because of your lack of time or shitty situation" like, buddy, not having enough time or money for the gym are literally the *main* reasons that people who want to go to the gym don't go. He really said "I'm privileged and time and money has never been an issue for me, so therefore I think that's how it is for everyone"???
Also that the gym solves actual problems? Lol. It might "fix" your vanity lil'man complex. But not actual issues. 10/10 those guys' problems are not real problems...
I think my favorite thing about religion is that people who don’t believe in anything are usually saying things like “no hate to any religion, believe whatever you want to believe but I’m just pointing out a flaw” and then people who want to push religion are just like “atheists and such are just denying ourlordandsaviorjesuschrist, poor thing is going to hell”
I think that’s a big difference between faith and religion. (TO ME) Everyone has a different faith and ideals that they believe in, it may be similar to others and that is what makes a community. Religion is the culmination of one persons ideal faith in which they use to convert others.

However that doesn’t take away from the FACTS of the original comments stance on organized religions.

I will admit I have met some pretty egotistical atheists (as in they thought they were so cool for being an atheist). But, just like any group of people there’s going to be bad folk. That doesn’t mean all of them are like that. There’s hundreds of reasons as to why people leave popular spirituality or just don’t like religion at all- it’s not just the ego. There’s the want to find your own spiritual path, religious trauma, just not vibing with any sort of religion at all, and so on. It’s not ego lol
