i just love simple. This is perfect for what i need. i have a simple tools and lots of free wood i collect so really need simple diy job. also i have so much stuff so need plenty of organisation. your videos give me confidence to build my own furniture.
Great video - thanks for sharing. I actually just finished building a set of almost identical workshop drawers to fit into an existing metal cabinet in my garage! Same technique except I have the base of the drawer inside the sides - not sure it makes any difference in terms of strength but it seemed easier for me at the time.
Thanks for this. One thing though that nobody seems to cover about drawers, is sizing of the drawers. Here you did 3 drawers. What I I wanted 2 drawers or 4 drawers? How do I determine the depth of the drawers themselves? What If I wanted 1 deep drawer and one narrow? Maybe you could do a video explaining that process?
Divide by your opening. Then subtract 1/2 each. If you’re opening is 12” and you want 3 drawers. 12/3=4”- 1/2”= 3.5” drawer hight. If you wanted a small and a large drawer you could space them at 3” and 9”. You’ll need to subtract 1/2” from each so your drawers will be 2.5” and 8.5”

Is that a staple gun? Or Brad nailer? What size fasteners do you use for 1/2” material like this? Thanjs
I used an 18ga staple. But you can Brad nail it or screw it. Wood glue is the most important part
