The line on your father’s big toe can be a sign of melanoma, not to freak you out or anything. Skin cancer cancer is highly treatable when caught in time. Well wishes.
You’re right, but it could also be indicative of a viral infection, such as shingles. Although the lines usually show up on the thumbs as well.
Yes, please have him get it checked. I'm a melanoma survivor and indeed this can be a sign of melanoma.

Just some advice, I would get that black line in your Dad's big toenail investigated as we had a cancer scare in our family and that was a warning sign but got there early enough.

Your dad would definitely benefit from putting Vaseline on the heels of his feet every night and then putting on socks to wear to bed. Lotion on the heels of his feet to prevent the dry skin.. and definitely a pedicure once every 2 to 3 weeks instead of once every eight weeks would help also. Specially for a hard-working man on his feet a lot.

I really enjoyed this video, and subscribed to your channel. I can tell you have a lot of love for your dad, and for your craft as well. It's important to help others feel their best. I remember as a kid my mom would work on her feet all day as a sales lady. Whenever she got home at night, I'd give her a foot massage, and it would help her so much.

I would like a pedicure but i want to keep my cuticle as mine get sore without it
I use a foot lotion after showers, wear sock or slippers, and I file once a week. The lotion is key for me since I use to stand on my feet for 8 out of 10 hours a day at work.

This is my firsr time seeing a pedicure. As a ticklish person it looks like absolute torture and I can't believe people pay to endure that. The healthy skin result looks really nice though.
Genuine question: Why not use a finishing sander or random orbit sander instead of all that hand sanding?
More precision by hand, and I can control the pressure and speed myself
