    Had to remove a few jokes and sadly a Peep Show reference for the video to be published but what can you do? Hope you enjoyed it anyway, don't forget to subscribe for part 16! Thanks for watching!
    (ps if I didn't make it clear enough in the intro, I featured the 'my husband's an engineer' in ep. 4 but I wanted to show the group freakout that followed it in this episode, so you're not getting deja vu if you feel like you've seen it before don't worry haha, just included it to reintroduce the scenario, the rest of the video is new content)

      Agreed, we took a cruise a couple of years ago. We arrived at the airport 3 hours before our flight early in the morning. We got into the town were our ship was that afternoon and then boarded the ship the next day. On the way back we stayed at the same hotel as before and than left to head back home the next day. Again we gave ourselves several hours after we checked in at the airport. There's no excuse for these people cutting it that close. If it's truly that important for you to get to your destination than you need to arrive the day before the event. Also, if your going to have a layover you need to give yourselves at least 4 to 5 hours between flights.

      The absolute lack of gratitude that they displayed at the end is also astounding. Jane did them a MASSIVE favour by stealing another airplane, and risked submitting a whole other crowd of passengers to further delays, as well as potentially getting herself in trouble for it later. And still, they were unsatisfied. I get being frustrated, but shit happens. They were yelling at the people who were simply trying to help them.

    • @cristinaflorina9538
      @cristinaflorina9538 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes but people are different and some people might have emergencies. Imagine if one of them is an important employee and their work booked them on that flight last minute and this happens.
      Not just that but that could affect people going to work even if you go the day before. If I had the flight in the afternoon and it's usually a 3 hour flight to get to my home country, I would plan for 8 hours max to get to the bus to be able to travel home in the evening.
      However, if instead there would be an 8 hour delay on top of the 3 hour flight AND on top of picking the luggage AND on top of walking from the airplane to the exit depending how big the airport is, you'd be sitting at 12 hrs (worse case scenario). Those 12 hrs could mean I would get there at night. There are no buses after 10 here so I'd be stuck in the airport for the whole night (8 hrs) and I'd have to take the bus in the morning (which takes another 3 hrs) which would mean I would miss work. You're pretty much sitting at a 23 hr travel approx, or 25 if you're stuck in traffic while on the bus from the airport or on the taxi from the bus station for something that shouldn't last more than 8 hrs. When you look at it that way you start to realise their frustration is justifiable.
      Yes, the front desk has no power when it comes to delays but you have to also be empathetic and understanding of their reaction instead of saying "I wouldn't be upset so why should they".

      I've been stuck on a plane boiling in the summer and after a 30-minute delay, the mechanics confessed they couldn't get it fixed within the time frame so the pilot cancelled the flight. While everyone else was fuming with indignation and cursing their lungs out, I was ruuuuning to the ticket counter as fast as I could. Wouldn't you know it - only ONE other person on my plane had the same idea. I wound up waiting only 5 minutes and was next in line. I knew the poor girl was in for a long, terrible morning so I waited for my heart to slow down and finally in the nicest voice I could come up with, I begged for the next flight out, even if it was at 9 pm. There were none but she told me she could get me on the first one the following morning. I didn't scream and cuss. WTF am I supposed to do? Steal the plane? I called a relative to drive me home so I could get some sleep. When I got to the gate the next morning on time, I hadn't even looked at where I was sitting. She bumped me to business class and it was a direct flight so no stopovers in Germany! Wow, that was sweet of her. I cannot help but wonder if she upgraded the ticket because I didn't drive her crazy like the other 200+ passengers would...

    • @largol33t1
      @largol33t1 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I don't know why but this seems to happen whenever someone flies with budget carriers. The US version of this show is with Southwest Airlines and the snobs that abuse the staff at that airline are absolutely NO better. They love to have shouting matches (see who can shout the loudest! LMAO.) On one episode, an entitled idiot thought that screaming as loudly as possible would magically get the plane's problem fixed. Nope, it resulted in the security guards booting him out of the airport! Bloody fool. Ironically, he LEARNED from the experience and was back the next morning, blabbering apologies nonstop as they rerouted his ticket. I guess his change in attitude helped, he was out on the very first flight that morning.
      There was a similar show that aired in Australia and wow, they're worse than the Americans! They sometimes barge their way through the line (do they REALLY think the others are going to let them do that without consequence?! Wow). Whenever they missed the flight, they act like they read the fine print (hint, they never did, the reaction clearly shows) on the ticket and act like football hooligans. One actually acted like a spoiled child throwing a tantrum. He sat on the luggage scale and stone cold refused to move. The security guards overpowered him and threw him out! LMAO...

    I completely get being mad at EasyJet for the delays. But what I don't get is everyone getting mad at the people at the desk. It's not their fault the plane had technical faults, or that they keep getting fed information that turns out to be wrong (like the crew being on route, then a few minutes later they're no where to be found). I used to work customer service, and I've had people rage at me like this... and just WATCHING this was giving me anxiety. It's not the desk people's fault, stop raging at them so that they can do their jobs.
    I've literally been delayed once 9 HOURS because of technical difficulties. Granted, I was 14 and didn't have anywhere important to be... but it's still not great being stuck outside of security as a 14yo with very limited funds for 9 hours. I was part of a language trip so one supervisor had to keep an eye of all of the class so we couldn't really go anywhere. And even if some of the class had connecting flights or trains to catch, none of us raged because we knew it wouldn't help the situation! >< people like this drive me mental

    I was at the customer service desk getting a welcome talk by the woman manning the desk and showing me how to use the computer, when in the first 15 minutes an angry customer showed up shouting about the car park ticket machine not working and shouting that we "shouldn't be sitting there chatting behind the desk instead of providing customer service" lol
