@@ashleytoltonart I used to paint as well and after selling my paintings I was devastated. I loved my paintings so much and never wanted to sale them but I was forced to do so because my work was reserved and paid in advance (contract). After that I never painted any picture again.
This made me so happy! I just completed a similar challenge, doing 6 First American girls whose photos I took at a Pow Wow several years ago. I was always too intimidated to do them, but decided it was time! Like you, it was a bit overwhelming, but I'm so glad I did it. Aren't these great learning experiences and confidence builders? I use color pencil so my work takes quite a bit longer, but I so envy painters that can capture such beauty so very quickly! Nice work, and congrats on doing such a nice job~
Yay!! Go team conquering challenges!! I’m so grateful for all the opportunities I get to learn. Color pencil amazes me, so good on you, because that is far from an easy medium! 🙌🏼☺️
Hi awesome paintings! Could you share the name of the authors you got the portrait from? I really want to explore anatomy and portraiture as well 😊 thank you and awesome work from you ❤
Hi there! The cowboys are all originally done by Mark Maggiori. I don't know about the rest however. Good luck in your portraiture endeavors as well! :)
Hmmm... it varies quite a bit. These one day studies are 8x10" or 9x12". My full oil paintings tend to be more in the 24"-36" range. Hope this helps! :)
i loved all of them but the cowboy ones amazed me! thank you for sharing your beautiful art
thank you so much!! I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed them!! 🥰
The picture you are painting is really good, I would say it is excellent!
thanks!

@@NerimesCookie half the intro is me giving credit to the original artists. Thanks though
What size canvas do you find yourself using the most often?
