Do You Need Eyes To See The Light?

This is my first attempt at doing something that I've never done before - I improvised on the piano and then harmonised it with a string quintet - violins 1 and 2, viola, violoncello and contrabass. As for the name while looking out the window late at night I saw flies flying around a street light and thought about how they always follow the light. Then I started wondering weather you need eyes to see the light, or can you also just feel that it's there and as an extension to this - what is more painful - being surrounded by light and not being able to comprehend it, or having the means necessary to, but not having light itself to take in.

Time is an interesting concept - it's said to move at a constant rate, but it sure doesn't feel that way. I'm glad that you found something to take from my music :D
