- If you like hexagons and need shelves, you should consider making something like this. It is a simple diy storage shelf that gives you a honeycomb look. In my case, this hexagon shelf is a gift for my wife to store her yarn.

I love these! And bonus points for saving the back and knees lol ❤
Using the blue tape for glue squeeze out does work. You need to remove the tape before the glue dries. That way the glue stays on the tape but will not tear it.
They turned out great
Gorgeous!
i too love banjo kazooie
Looks great.
love it
Nice! You could also make hexagons without the doubled sides where they meet. That requires cutting 30 degrees on each side of some pieces, and changes the lengths those pieces. But, the math isn't all that hard. It does make the glue-up a bit harder.
Nice work !!! Is there any way you can add small lights to the front like LED’s? To showcase what’s in the cubicle. Merry Christmas
Definitely possible, but might need a lip to hide them
You might want to consider adding two more hexagons and put on top of the outer two, then put the put two of the sperate pieces across the top, then you would have one long flat surface on the top and increase the storage space a lot with the same footprint
PS: Only suggestion may be to cut them entire until 1/2 width, and have two shelves!
If ur wife like lighting then some led light make it pop
Long time, viewer love your content. Just out of curiosity how are you planning to fix your shelves to the wall? You never really disgusted in your video. Also what do you think the weight capacity is going to be for the shelves once they are completed and hung on the wall?
I'm not sure about weight capacity but as long as the glue holds, I believe they could handle most small objects. Also I plan on putting it on top of some other shelves. You can kind of see them in the thumbnail.
Pull tape before it dries.
After all your comments about not using plywood, would it be rude of me to point out that your sled is made out of plywood?😝
You are correct 😃 and that is part of the reason I don't like cutting it 😁
Showing ads before your video is disrespectful, manipulative, and unethical. Shame shame shame.
I'm guessing you are new to TH-cam
