as a person who has cleaned a plane before they dont do it on a regular basis and it can get pretty fucked up like hey this baby pissed and the mother/father didn't tell anyone about it fucked up

My grandad was notorious for eating anything no matter the state or whether he liked it or not. One time my mum was receiving chemotherapy and he happened to be in town that morning buying groceries so he thought he would pop in (he was also a very sensitive man, his daughter having cancer hit him terribly hard so he never went to the hospital with her for chemo or radiotherapy because it was too hard for him so this was a fairly big deal) he comes in and he’s got all these shopping bags ready to head home and one thing that he always did was buy fruit and vegetables for us, he loved going to farm shops and getting stuff and he would always get us some stuff like grapes or avocados nice and fresh and he got my mum some grapes to eat while she had chemo for the next 6 hours and he gets a little flustered with all his bags and drops a couple grapes, a couple hours earlier we had removed a bin from her room because something in it smelt terrible, like the person before us had done something NASTY in that bin, poor person maybe they got sick, maybe they changed a stoma bag, but we removed that bin so fast because it smelt awful, as luck would have it, this grapes my grandad dropped landed and rolled around the spot where the bin was, before any of us could say “oh I’ll get it, the bins outside” he just bends down and picks them up and eats them. Off of the hospital floor, of a chemo ward where the most god awful smelly bin was. Just eats them, doesn’t even notice that we all are squirming and gagging at what he just did, he had grapes he was happy. He was perfectly fine though, they say some people have a stomach of steel, I don’t know what kind of stomach my grandad had but it was stronger than fucking steel, believe me. Safe to say we did not touch those grapes for a while just because of the sheer mental image of what had just happened.
They don’t shampoo the floors but most airlines do vacuum floors at least semi often

As a fat guy, I would not eat any bagel that fell face down on any floor so it would be really nice if people would stop assuming that all of us fat people are just a bunch of gross Jabba the Hutt's

Nope. Not only do people drop food in the band room. There are not vacuumed often and they NEED to be deep cleaned cause even if the floor does get vacuumed, there is still remnants of spit from peoples instruments. When someones brass instrument is full of spit it needs to be released through the spit valve. and where does that excess spit go? on the floor.
People (usually) dont spit on carpets purposefully but its technically mandatory for brass players to release spit so they can play better and not screw the instrument up. they arn't looking for a sink or trash can to dump the spit.
as a woodwinds player (alto/tenor sax) if any form of food touched that floor even if it was immediate, i refused to eat it. and im saying that now as a diesel mechanic who eats with grease on his hand sooo ya know
