Never underestimate hitting the putting green before the round. Even if its just 10 quick putts, only takes a minute or two. It honestly helps me more than going to the range which I never expected. It has been the game changer this year for me.
You guys will love pinehurst, i live like 35 minutes away. Lots and lots of great golf, not just the resort. I highly recommend Tobacco Road. Its not to far from pinehurst.
If you guys ever travel east of Hartford Ct, I recommend Wintonbury in Bloomfield CT, and The Ranch in Southwick MA, I'm fm OH, but daughter lives near them, very nice courses .
I completely understand using the shotscope for tracking your stats, but for a 2.5 handicap like me I would use a range finder to get the most accurate yardages
We have stacked it up against the best range finder and it's pretty darn accurate. The stats could all level players improve. What's keeping you from scratch, where are the misses and mistakes?

The shot Mike had on the par 5 would be a punch shot with my Taylormade UDI 2 iron...it is definitely my favorite club in the bag.

There is a Toptracer range near me and I’m not overly impressed with it. I can flush a 4i and it says it only flys about 160. Maybe I just suck.
Interesting. I wonder if they just got something wrong ... this one was pretty laser accurate. Are they limited flight golf balls?
