Cool stuff! At 11:12 you mention that after doing the stop-track trick, the LIOBOX will automatically select the next song. AFAIK this is not what happens within Ableton (it just stops), so is this a special feature that LIOBOX adds?
Hi bro. Really appreciate what you are doing in this channel. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I have an issue in Ableton. I have a MacBook Pro with M2 pro chip. When I play VSTs and when I extend my Yamaha Modx with Midi zoning, notes are continue to stuck. (Midi Hanging) I’ve tried everything changed the whole rig except Mac Book. Do you have a solution for that?
I got the liobox 2 , I have the play audio 1U . I went by the directions but everything is in French . I did find some English but I couldn’t download the script as there was no liobox 2 script in the computer :(
Disclaimer: I have never done a Playbackshow but I am an Audio Engineer and this is amazing and interested. As far as I can tell everything surrounding this topic is build upon Ableton live. And when you ask people why Ableton they say "because its in the name bro ... its made for live". Yeah ... right. I know I can just use Logic Pro but I wonder ... is there evidence why that would be the inferior option? Or is this just the "my DAW is better than yours" Extension Thread?
I started on and used Logic for production for years. Even with all of that time under my belt; Ableton Live is simply the better DAW for live use. The native routing capabilities for sends/returns/outputs is great. It's modular and flexible when it comes to quick arrangement edits, navigation, MIDI I/O capabilities, and is overall just more equipped for the needs of a live performance. Real world application and experience: I had an artist that insisted on running playback and keys through Logic. He did his best to emulate the basic features of Live with Meta-Events, but they were not able to keep up with the simple needs for the performance (and it doesn't seem like Apple is super interested in revisiting/updating them, even though they are the most "live" worthy feature in Logic). It was a nightmare and you end up spending a lot of time working around what it can't do or doesn't do well. I prefer the UI of Logic's piano roll and the ability to export a tempo map. But other than that, Live is superior. Of course, all of this is in my opinion/experience. No "my DAW is better than yours", but (while people on the internet are assholes); often times, there's some merit behind what people are saying. I still love Logic and it will always have a place in my heart. But it all depends on your needs, if you simply need to play a couple tracks and have ample time between songs to navigate; you can just use Logic.

was also curious about this. Not sure if there was IAC action going on
Hi man. Nice stuff.
How do you create auto stop markers a the end of each song?
Also curious about that. Does liobox just see the word stop and then know to stop at that marker?
Hello sir! Any idea if the MIDI port is pinout A or pinout B? Trying to get an adaptor and don't know which one to buy. Thanks a lot.

Didn’t you still get a solution for my issue?

does anybody know a shortcut to reboot or reset the Liobox 2?? mine is stuck in midi marker mode.
It would be nice if they would create a version with touch screen
This thing is so hard to get in mexico😢
Lots of fingerprints for not being a touch screen. Makes the screen harder to read (besides being blown out by the brightness).
