    Great video as always.
I love seeing Hector get KOed by Ajax honestly, lol. Serves him right. Plus that's a cool scene.
Also like you say this is the first time one of the Gods has openly lead men into battle on either side. Earlier in the Iliad Mars and Venus(this can get slightly confusing..the version of the Iliad I read was an older version that used the Latin versions of all the names instead of the original Greek version, so Mars instead of Ares, Venus instead of Aphrodite, and so on) and Apollo assisted the Trojans but by giving them god boost powerups, or disguising themselves as a human hero. But in this book Poseidon leads the greeks into battle in his god form, openly; and that's interesting. If I remember correctly, the book will get more supernatural from here, with Achilles battling a River God, and I believe at least one other personification(I could be misremembering too).
And I like how they all switched from their small shields their bucklers, over to their big hoplite shields, to drive back the Trojans. Not a big thing but I like that moment.
Achilles is still stewing in this book I see. I mean really does he think he and his men will be spared if the camp really is overrun? Or does he just plan to push out to sea the moment it looks like the Greek camp will fall? The latter most likely. Like you say Ajax can handle Hector just fine. Or he would normally be able to if Zeus doesn't protect Hector that is, which he does all throughout the book until Hectors end(and aside from this chapter and a few other instances where Zeus' attention is elsewhere). Maybe cause I like The Aeneid but I like hearing about Aeneas too, from the Trojan side; though he's not as interesting as Ajax, Diomedes, Odysseus, and many of the others.
Achilles plan backfired spectacularly. I mean, he will get his chance to shine alright, but he shouldve buried the hatchet when Agamemnon went to beg his forgiveness and return the girl(and offer some extra ones as compensation) so its hard to have sympathy for him at this point. Though Zeus will soon make it so that Achilles goes into battle again, and this time he wont be thinking about how much the greeks should need him. I remember him chasing Hector around the walls of Troy during their duel.. I look forward to the next videos!
