are you good to people?

you see people every day... I hope. How do you treat those people? What do you think of them? What would you do if they mistreated you? The idea of showing goodness to others for nothing in return has been misconstrued to mean that someone is weak in their character and is not able to stand up for themselves. But it does the very opposite, it shows strength and firmness in a person's character to respond with goodness.

Salaamu alaykum, sister. I just wanted to express my gratitude to you for making these videos not only to speak on issues that impacts society, but to broaden them in a way that highlights ayats and hadiths mentioned in our Qur'an. It's truly remarkable how you're able to accomplish that and I simply wanted to reciprocate that in the best way I know how. I know I'm not obligated to do this nor am I doing it for attention. The good in me just couldn't resist, my bad. Jazakallah khair
Mashallah!
May Allah reward you in kind
WWWWW MASHALLAH
Money can never repay for the wisdom and love that you share in this platform but here’s a humble amount to hopefully help a little bit to keep you making dawa videos. Please keep making us feel uncomfortable because truth is way better than comfort. Lots of love.
Thank you for her ❤❤
WOW WWWWWW
This woman is genuinely something
I just can't explain how the timing of your videos is always on point for me Farah. it is a sign from Allah, for sure. I am in my late 20's and I just had a semi-mental breakdown 20 minutes ago because of betrayal/hurting I got from some people and told my mom on the phone, that I don't want to be nice to anyone anymore because no one deserves it and they betray you and treat you like sh.t as if you were stupid just because you are 'good'.. and even if they deserve it, you can never know it, so maybe the solution is not to be nice/good to anyone at all instead of looking who deserves it or not (which I never did anyway, I was nice because that's who I am and wanted to be). And now seeing this video.. helps me to make up my mind.
ps: also your 'unfriend them video (since I am still watching your video right now and you mentioned it), you literally uploaded the video when I was thinking about cutting ties with some of my 'friends' and after I watched it, it was so clear for me, it was a sign from Allah again, I cut ties with them and I feel so peaceful! I really like this video!
If you genuinely feel peace when certain people leave, and are concerned that they take advantage of your kindness, then you will benefit from that newfound time alone that you can spend with Allah SWT. It could be a sign that He wants you to spend time with Him and build your relationship with Him instead. While doing that, you can pray for good/pious Muslim company and insha’Allah good people will come into your life. Sometimes they pop up out of nowhere.
People come and go, that’s the nature of this world. If good people come and naturally leave/drift apart/move somewhere too far, appreciate your relationship for what it was and move on (insha’Allah you’ll see each other again in Jannah). If bad people come into your life and leave, thank Allah SWT that He kept you away from them. And sometimes you wonder why fun friends left you, only to realize later they weren’t very good people. Trust Allah SWT and remember Surah Ash-Sharh. Verse 5: فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
English translation: “So, surely with hardship comes ease.”
Losing friendships might’ve been difficult, but insha’Allah better things will come to you. If you make a difficult choice that is better for your iman, you’ll be rewarded insha’Allah.
thank you very much for your effort and time writing this. It really made me feel better. I think that way as well, I trust Allah and won't change my attitude about being nice or good, I will just distance myself from people who use them. @@user-ge3ut2bk5l
video just started, i’m not gonna act like i watched the whole thing but guys please listen to the title 🙇🏻

@@niqabi-. No, I'm just pissed all the time😂😂
@@PosieJulia😂😭I don’t want to say that you are possessed but look into it, we never know
being too nice too people is not good. Thank you for this message. I needed to hear this. God Bless.
You don’t understand how much I needed this video
I loved this episode so much, it came in the right moment! I'm overthinking a lot why people mistreat me, hurt me with their behaviors and think stuff like "I wouldnt say/do that like this why do you do that"..its easy to be good in a moment but its so hard to STAY good when the circumstances become harder and I think thats the real trial behind this. There is so much wisdom in this. Even this is a test.. how to stay good even if people here and there mistreat you and so on.. amazing topic to philosophize over!!
Being good to people, what i noticed before and after i have truly practiced islam by heart. Before, i was just being good out of pleasing others and that leads me to overthink it because I haven’t really thought of it much for myself, like i havent really applied it to myself causing my values to not really go my way because of my dependence of people’s reaction unto my action being good to them thru people pleasing-and when i have practiced islam by heart, the being good to people notion really changed, i am good to people now because that is what doesn’t bring me much anxiety or every thought, causing me to strengthen my values and respect for my boundaries and self. I felt it so much when you said ‘you never truly know much about people until they reveal themselves to you’ that is so true in a sense where you let them do what they want to do and what you respond in exchange would matter in so much goodness in a way where you wouldn’t really say anything about it but just listen attentively and respect whatever it is. It is such a nice notion in islam that being good to people means respecting the bounds of not only everyone but mainly yourself.
SubhanAllah!! So beautifully described! People are more inclined towards goodness that is our Fitrah :) This is Allah STW's mercy to us and something to motivate us towards living out our true nature which can even be a higher state than angels Alhumdullilah!
1:20 Nobody tests your patience more than your family and government employees 😫
20:11 I have an atheist friend who rarely shares things on her ig stories, and guess what she shared the other day when all the people around the world is talking about Palestine. She shared something about protecting panthers. I was literally shocked that she was so proud about herself to do that.
i’m in tears, this video found me when i needed it most. thank you farah.
19:14 save the entire world for eternity ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
These podcasts are such a blessing, alhamdullilah😊
I like the background it has a vibe to it📚
According to Usama Ibn Sharik (may Allah be pleased with him), we were sitting with the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم as if there were birds above our heads, no one among us spoke. Then came people who said, "What is the best thing that is given to a person?" The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "Good behavior."
❤🔥
Thank you so much ,sister! This video is exactly what I needed,I was on edge of thinking that “ well people suck sometimes” . But when you talked about how people sometimes are so beautiful, i almost teared up man!May Allah guide us all and grant us with Jannah by His Mercy😌
Love your content it is now part of my Jummah.
Its actually really nice hearing someone say your thoughts out loud. Thank you!x
This came at the time that I am so desperately disappointed from people around me, I don't know how to be good to them. It's like I can't handle them any more, I tried to see good but they show me the opposite. I felt idiot trying to jutify their actions with good intentions.... leaving in peace is the only option indeed 🙏
Soo happy u posted !! I'll watch this video later I just felt like leaving a comment cuz ure one of my fav notifications
Loved this episode please make more episodes on how to become a good person
The part about Allah knows of our feelings and He knows if someone hurt us or He would know and care if we hurt someone really felt like a hug but gave me goosebumps at the same time thinking of the accountability
Love your work Farah ❤❤
I just click the video because of the background and now watching the books... wanted the library tour
Yes please!
Jazaki Allah Khayr❤❤ you helped me so much and please make a part 2 about how to be good to people in more detail
Indeed, sometimes we get caught up in thinking that people or the world are bad, but as you said, yes, there are bad things, but there are also good things too
ماشا ءّاللّٰه لَا حَولَ وَلا قُوَۃَ اِلَّا بِا للّٰہِ الࣿعَلِّیِ الّعَظِیمُ

First of all Hayeti I love you for the sake of Allah. Ur videos are always directly connected to a life situation SubhenAllah. I will watch this video tonight with my children, 10 and 8 years old ❤
Farah, my dear sister, I have a request to you. Don't know whether i should ask it from you or not but because of the fact that i absolutely see you as my own sister and that your podcasts have made a significant impact in my life, these vulgar ads that show up in between the your vdo, really does a big damage. You're someone i look upto, the way you've changed drastically over the months has inspired me to become like you my elder sister. I don't know a nicer way to put it, but would you please stop monetization on your channel? This would multiply your reward immensely my sister. This would help us as audience to concentrate on your insightful talk in general. That would have been awesome, believe farah didi (elder sister). Forgive me if i became a bit rough. Also salam from India. Jazakallahu Khairan my dear sister. May Allah bless you with more wisdom, health and prosperity in deen and dunya.😊
are u talking about the ads between the video ?
Salaam, I’m not entirely sure how TH-cam ads work, but here’s a possible tip: next time an ad pops up, pause it, click the three dots on the right, and it should show the “My Ad Center” page. Click “block ad” to block that same advertisement from showing up again. You can do this all over TH-cam whenever it happens, and those ads should stop showing up.
Unfortunately this doesn’t always seem to work for me, for example Instagram ads keep showing up even if I block them. So I understand what you mean when you say turning off monetization on these videos might be for the best. Unfortunately I think TH-cam might also automatically monetize certain videos, from what I’ve heard? Thank you for bringing this to everyone’s awareness in such a kind way though.
@@user-ge3ut2bk5l the tip that you shared is a hit and miss, my brother. If monetization is turned off on a channel, TH-cam shall never show ads on the contents of that channel. A lot of such Islamic channels are available, for example 'Yaqeen Institute' by Dr. Omar Suleiman. I know this might be a bit too much for us to ask of her but provided that sister Farah has sacrificed a lot of haram things for the sake of Allah, i felt comfortable asking her this. Let it be the way it is, even if she doesn't, that's okay, we'll still listen to her just like we did before inshallah. May Allah guide us all to His recommended path. Amin.
May Allah bless you and ease your affairs in the dunya and akhira
the unfriend them part was sinister

Как всегда в точку Фара!🤩
it feels illegal to be this early lmaooo
لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله ❤
May i please say, my kind sister, i think it all comes down to "do onto others.." BUT DO IT!!! people don't actually think one day they could be in the others' shoes and need help. Like in your example, if it was that woman trying to go through, she'd let herself go ahead, lol. Ugh
The people love you girllllll 🩷
