A new colour family order for the Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens | Adult Colouring

A viewer had asked in the comments of my April 2024 haul if I could swatch on camera the 180 set of Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens that I purchased. I had already swatched the pens, though.
But... :)
I've since decided to try to improve upon the colour order of that original swatch. I cut apart the old swatch cards and then played around with the 180 colour chips until I had them in an order that made more sense to me.
Join me as a swatch out the new colour order! (Warning: As always, it's a long, rambling, chatty video - if that's not your thing, my apologies. :) If you'd like to skip ahead to where I have all the colours swatched out in the new order, skip ahead to time stamp 1:11:38 .)

NOTE: This chart is NOT in the colour order I have on my swatch cards in the video. I might someday put together a one-page chart using the order I've created - someday. :)

@@colouringchemistand I did! Love love love the teals and aquamarine colours - I always find sets to be lacking in those colours. Same with pencils. Now to shop and find the best price! These are a bit of an ouch but it’s still my birthday month for one more day 😅

For the stain on your sleeve, try a bit of peroxide, it is a wonderful stain treatment and a general aid in Laundry.

Hi Connie. I purchased the 120 set plus the 30 blues and greens. Will you please post a photo of each finished chart on your community tab? The numbers are hard to read on the screen shot. I always re-order everything, since I am quite picky on what order my supplies are in. I do a quick swatch on scratch paper, then number them based on what order I decide on. And…sometimes I will decide to change my order again.😅

Thanks for the swatching! Great colour order. It's always fun to order and swatch colours. I try to do it in between colouring pages 😊
Thanks, Dieter - glad you liked it! Yes - I find that ordering and swatching colours really helps to train my (scientist's :)) eye to see colours more like an artist would see them and that helps with my colouring. Plus, I find it fun and relaxing. :)

I've tried two different cases. :) The first one was quite big and the loops were a little too big. I prefer the one I'm using now much more - it's this one: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09895QCNY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Would not using water and a brush help us figure out if say a dark green leans blue or not?
I just realized I miss 10 colours. I bought the 80 set instead of the 90 set way back when.
That is a very, very good point!! I'm definitely making a note of that going forward - by diluting out the darker colour, I can better see the undertones. Brilliant! Thank you!! :)

Hi Connie! I have the 90 set…. That’s one of my waterbased markers sets i did not use anymore and now i am almost buy the other colors! what do you do with me 🤣🤣
