Hey Andrew, been watching since vlog #1. Everything, especially the film making has improved so much since that vlog and im constantly enjoying your uploads! Keep it up Mr Neeme
I don't watch your vlog regularly but as I'm now early on this one, I'd like to say that you do good work! Good production value and interesting content. So keep it up and greetings from Germany
Hi Andrew! Hello from Romania.Great job with the vlog.I watched every episod, some of them twice;)You are the best poker vloger. Great job keep up the good work.
Andrew, you bring a unique presentation and have a positive well rounded outlook on most aspects of life and poker, PROPS FOR THE VLOGS, i THINK I SPEAK FOR ALL VIEWERS SAYING WE APPRECIATE YA!!!
Mail in the Couch!! Another great blog! I really looking forward to watching...Also... I received my "FAVORABLE" T-shirt.. love it! Not to sure about the shades at the tables... but thumbs up on the beanie(s)..V-log keep running good!!!
That was a great way to finish off the NCAA tournament season. The Cosmo looked like a synthesizer with the music playing, and the bouncing lights, super cool!
Great vlog again, Andrew. Cheers from one of the countries you didn't mention; Finland :) watching since vlog number one and enjoying the ride. Maybe see you next September when I'll be in Vegas for the fourth year in a row.
Hey Mr Neeme! I work in a casino here in London, UK and understand the pain of a backwards schedule. Going to bed as the sun comes up: not favourable (yes, correct way to spell it here in England ;-) ). Anyway, Goodluck on your "normal" schedule hunt and another awesome video! Till next time!
In the hand with pocket 4s, how often would you say you would check the flop given the low texture of the board? It seems that unless they have an overpair or a set themselves you won't get much action. I would guess that the opponent's hand range would be weighted towards high cards in this spot. How often should we check there and hope for a high card on the turn? I also think that checking the flop here gives you the ability to delay C bet those flops with air since you could check monsters.
I would usually cbet. It's multiway with flat callers from pre, so ranges are relatively wide. While there's no flush draw, there are straight draws to hands like A5 or A3 (which also count as high cards), so I want to make those guys pay to draw out on me. Plus the mid-range overpairs that you mentioned will call. Even two-paint or Ace-paint might call to spike an overcard. Lots of possible hands in the calling range, so might as well bet for value. If it were heads up and the other guy 3b pre, I'd be more inclined to check to him and play more passively, depending on how the board ran out.
Okay I've looked around online everywhere, and cannot find them. Those sunglasses with the yellow highlight, where can I get those? I love those sunglasses.
Favourable tune. The irony of Yorke's 'Analyse' playing in the car while you're in the middle of analysing hands. I'd suggest it was a deft touch, but the valet guy would have to be in on it as well ;) One thing I love about poker, as complex a beast as it is, is there are a finite number situations, of spots. Life...mmm, not so.
Any merit to checking back the set 4s on 6 3 4 board three way? Not a ton to protect against, and seems hard for anyone to have much on that type of board....I thought it was hard to flop a set btw?!
ive been watching your blog for quite sometime. didnt even realized i havent subscribed yet , since most of the time your videos always shows up on my device. LOL -your fan from the PH.
These no-joy flopped sets are an excellent lesson in why open raising preflop with pocket pairs is favorable. If you just open limp preflop with those hands, the pot is smaller when you pick up the flop without resistance.
PapaCharlie9 the value in flopping sets primarily comes from when you cooler aces or kings, where it won't matter much whether you limped or raised pre. you're only gonna hit a set 1 in 8 times, so raising pre just to make a bigger pot when you do hit isn't necessarily a better play as you're throwing money down the drain 7 out of 8 times.
"you're throwing money down the drain 7 out of 8 times" If you only fit/fold, that's true. But you may have fold equity and you may have the best hand, so it's not quite so cut/dried. Raising pre gives you more options, though it is preferable to do so in position. If it's usually the blinds that call 1 raise pre, you will be in position.
Yes, it's not great to be 3b and I tighten up my open raise range considerably if there is a sheriff on the Button that 3bs often. That said, you don't have to be extremely deep to go for implied odds. 20x-25x is the usual standard for implied odds for sets. In 2/5, if I open for 15 and get 3b to 45, there only needs to be about 750ish effective to make a $30 call correct.
PapaCharlie9 I agree that you can get some money out of low pocket pairs even when hitting sets, but your initial equity is only 50% against any two over cards and you're virtually always going to under realize that equity since low pocket pairs have such bad playability (most flops have multiple over cards that scare you). Low pocket pairs without a set are gonna be losing unless you're playing very weak tight players that you can get to fold a lot. I actually agree that you should open raise when it's been folded to you, but just because I don't want to deal with balancing a limping range. on the other hand, when you have 3 limpers in front of you, I don't think there's any issue with limping behind.
Damn! I knew I shouldn't have gone onto TH-cam right before cleaning the house... now I have to put off cleaning for 30 more minutes to watch my boy Andrew Neeme do his thang.
Rounders is an awesome movie! My dad was a pit boss at the Taj Mahal and when they were filming at the Taj he was an extra, but don't think he made the final cut (at least I could never find him). As always great vlog from one of the best. Tanner gives a big thumbs up too!
Andrew, Late to the party bro, Good work as always. Isaw the vlog on the go and just got a chance to comment today. Love the content as always and your editing skills are getting better with each 1.
Reminds me of the last time I was in Vegas (February), I was playing at The Flamingo and was dealt AA 3 times within the first hour or so. I flopped a set two times and didn't get a caller preflop the third. I didn't get paid on any of the hands.
Yang's got the spirit, promoting our 4 poker casinos "" Edgewater Vancouver Grandvilla Burnaby Hard rock, Metro, and Riverrock Richmond, " cash game tables, thanks Yang.
Dear Brian's Boss: I can confirm that Brian is diligently working to figure out more optimal lines for the company to take, and he will soon report back to you with important information regarding... -Folding is boring -3 blinds > 2 blinds -Bars with views for the next company christmas party ...and much more. Cheers.
The first time I watched your video I thought wow...Aarons found a new gig for the offseason. Being from Wisconsin and a devote Packer & Badger fan I still like your style. Keep flopping the nuts.
I love the videos and the reason behind them. It's great that you seem approachable & better that you started off doing these projects simply because you love it and it shows. Now that you do your own content have you stopped watching others? I have seen every video that you, Doug Polk, & Alec Torelli have made and will continue to. Is there anyone that worth watching that I missed. Thanks as always for your efforts. If you ever do a favorable card holder let me know I'll be the first one to sign up. Thanks, Clarence
Andrew, do you think you can make a routine for playing from 5-6pm to 10pm or something like that? Or the action at this time is bad? I wonder if you can have a discipline routine and be a Vegas Live Poker Pro.
Andrew any tips for someone having super swingy sessions? I'll go on a few month downswing in 2/5 then run up one buy in to 10x it. Now I am done in the gutter again... is it just brutal variance?
Tough to know without watching you play any hands in particular, but my guess would be that you're playing a very loose-aggressive style, which would naturally result in higher variance.
If you swing through Wisconsin. Roll through Milwaukee and play at Potawatomi. If you got time drive 2.5 hours and play at the Horseshoe in NE Indiana just outside Chicago.
Yeah, this past weekend at the little club in town I was lucky enough to flop quads on one hand and managed to get all the chips in by the time we got to the river. (The other guy was on a flush draw and rivered it.) Would have been so tilting to not get any action. Then I got sucked out on a couple of times and ended up down about $60 for the session, but you can't always run good.
In Emeryville Ca We either play 1,1,2 with a 200 max buy in or 2,3,5 with a 1,000 max buy in. Also your can straddle anywhere (Closes to the button has priority). Should come check out the Bay Area some time!
Been watching religiously for a very long time now! Thank you so much for making my life that bit more interesting!! Turn 18 later this year and have been playing poker for years now so I'll finally be able to sit at a table in a casino in the UK. Quick question, do you find it hard adjusting to play against opponents of different skill levels? I find it really hard as it often affects how they play/ where they call. Anyway, please never stop making videos, I love them!!!! Many Thanks, ~Dec :)
Love your videos! One question: why not start with a check on the 642 rainbow board? Looks like it's pretty safe to give a free card even to 2 villains.
Andrew I love your vlogs especially the filming style! Reminds me a lot of Casey Niestats vlog style, but with your own personal twists! Do you take inspiration from any other TH-cam vloggers? Keep up the good work!
I think the first set of sunglasses are a little big. Second yellow are definitely the best as you mentioned. Beanies work. Would love to see a few more difficult spots you've faced and how you handled them. We all learn from mistakes. Keep up the great Vlogs!
Hey Andrew....enjoying the Vlog's, have watched them all....they are "Getting Better All the Time" I hope I can take a pic with you some day when I am in Vegas...maybe even buy you a beer.... Thx, keep up the nice work.... Darrell, from Winnipeg Canada
To help get yourself on more of a normal sleep cycle, what about trying to play at the first table when it starts? I play PLO and always get to the casino early for the first table. I like seeing what all the other players are in for and knowing when tilt is likely. Great videos! They are very helpful to understand what it's like to play day-to-day as a pro.
Huge fan of the Vlog, Andrew. Been with you since the early days! One quick comment. I get your lead out with the first two flopped sets (against flushing and straight/flushing boards), but think a check may have been better on the 246 rainbow flop against the raiser and other caller’s ranges. Maybe let them catch up a bit (unless you’re protecting against gut-shots). You’re a better player than I am, so would be curious to know why you would be betting out that.
Hi Andrew! Watched almost every video of yours. I really enjoy Poker and I'm reading lots information and I think I prefer playing cash games instead of tournaments. What can you recommend me? Shall I start playing in the local casino 1/2 or play online on pokerstars. For the record I'm 18 years old. Greetings from another international viewer from Sofia, Bulgaria.
hey Andrew, quick question around your poker schedule. I noticed from your phone record you only play cash games once every 5 days or so... do you play more and keep a separate records in between these dates? or do you have a day job during the week (pretty impressive if you only play part time poker and are winning at 5/10!)
hey Andrew what app do you use to save your session stats? i use poker income pro and not sure if i am completely satisfied as i spotted and dealt with annoying glitches and was looking if anything better is out there.
Hey Andrew, couple questions: when you're taking a break from the table, do you evr take the chips with you and look for a better game on the way back to the table? Secondly, since you deal a lot with cash, are you ever worried about muggers on the strip, or do you pay in the cash straight away? P.S. sick vlog breh
I like the yellow glasses, love the KGB T, and I wanted to mention something about sleeping during the night versus the day. Your body releases chemicals at night time, for different parts of the bodies organs. They are subtle yet vital. (people who work graveyard shift live fewer years). If you are thinking about having children I highly recommend you sleep at night. :) I have a small exterior maintenance company here in Vancouver,BC. but I also teach Qigong. My sensei taught me an ancient a 10 minute routine for "waking up, and a 10 minute routine before sleep. I've thought about teaching poker players because sometimes we play, and we get tired but still want to play. So after the 10 minute routine we are either fully awake and refreshed or the other routine we feel ready for sleep- and believe me, you get a deep, restful sleep. Anyways, I thought this would be something cool to share with poker people. You know how often players will get a massage, same type of thing but a little different. Thanks for your videos and I look forward to playing poker alongside some day. Cheers!
You can do that, but if you want, I can teach it to you instead. We could do a skype session and you'll need a white piece of paper and a blue pen! ;) Qigong is the grandfather of yoga. It is a moving meditation that builds the energy body. You will love it. How can I message you here for private info?
Just switching it up a bit. I just like how you can get just about any angle, and no reason to always have it in the same spot. Aside from it being a sort of "signature" shot.
I paused the screen to look at your phone. Weird that you're going every 5 days. I just wouldn't have expected such an odd and consistent pattern. And WOW you must do well at the casino a lot. Lots of green 3-4 digit dollar values. Pretty nice.
hey andrew does that app POKER INCOME help you manage your bankroll a lot better? also did you get the free version or the paid version whats the difference?
Hey andrew, i noticed that the videos with a thumbnail containing chips/cards/poker table scene have more veiws than other videos without such thumbnails. awesome vlogs, keep it up
The first two sets of shades both look really good. Beanies are great as long as you wear them when its cold, it just turns ridiculous when people wear them when its not cold (people with cancer get a free pass on this one). The first beanie looks great, the second one is not my style. Third set of shades looks good, ranked slightly below the first two sets.
About runnning it twice...does the casino take rake two times then? Or only one time? If the casino charge rake two times you should only run it once. Right?
I know it does not change the pot size since you are all-in. But at the casino in Sweden they charge rake twice when running it twice. I just wondered if it's the same in Vegas. (if the pot reached the cap of the rake)
Hey Andrew, been watching since vlog #1. Everything, especially the film making has improved so much since that vlog and im constantly enjoying your uploads! Keep it up Mr Neeme

Thought the same Thomas. Curious for an answer from Andrew, too.
Okay I've looked around online everywhere, and cannot find them. Those sunglasses with the yellow highlight, where can I get those? I love those sunglasses.
You're in luck, Marc. Not only do I have the answer you're looking for (spadessunshades.com) but I got a free shipping code for you: AplusB
Thank you so much Andrew! Can't wait for the next vlog man, I look forward to your videos more than anything else on TH-cam these days.

What are using to keep track of your logs 27:13? I just use notes on my Iphone but I like what you're using.
Thanks Andrew. Love the vlogs!

Hey Andrew, the shades look cool, but I agree on no shades at the table. Also agree that rounders is a great movie!

Just a feeling...but think you will be getting some boxcutters and letter openers on your next Mail on the Couch segment
Not a moment too soon.
Rounders is an awesome movie! My dad was a pit boss at the Taj Mahal and when they were filming at the Taj he was an extra, but don't think he made the final cut (at least I could never find him). As always great vlog from one of the best. Tanner gives a big thumbs up too!
That's cool, must've been fun to be part of the production and then see the final product, even if he didn't spot himself.
Hi Andrew! Great vlog!
Can you say, please, what is the app at 27:13 for recording results?
Thanks

You sir, are the TH-cam poker vlog goat.
Hey Andrew in the California Bay Area they do have 3 blinds... we have 1.2.3, 2.3.5, and 5.5.10 games.
Andrew, do you think you can make a routine for playing from 5-6pm to 10pm or something like that? Or the action at this time is bad? I wonder if you can have a discipline routine and be a Vegas Live Poker Pro.

Chappel Hill baby!!! NC is my home, & U gotta love UNC! Heading to Vegas Saturday, hope to see u at Bellagio!

Yes Sir. I think that is enough change to the game to keep it interesting.
Nothing glamorous about a normal schedule. Keep grinding!
What's the over/under of MOTC segments before someone sends a package too large to be opened on the couch?
Been watching religiously for a very long time now! Thank you so much for making my life that bit more interesting!! Turn 18 later this year and have been playing poker for years now so I'll finally be able to sit at a table in a casino in the UK. Quick question, do you find it hard adjusting to play against opponents of different skill levels? I find it really hard as it often affects how they play/ where they call. Anyway, please never stop making videos, I love them!!!! Many Thanks,
~Dec :)
For me, adjusting to skill level is only hard when they are better than me, which is most of the time. ;)
Andrew, you're the GOAT man. Keep it up.
Yeah Casey is a pretty big influence. Luckily he's not a poker player. I also like David Dobrik but he's completely different.
Do you feel there is an advantage at playing during night hours or are you just doing it out of habit or to busy during day hours?
I think the first set of sunglasses are a little big. Second yellow are definitely the best as you mentioned. Beanies work. Would love to see a few more difficult spots you've faced and how you handled them. We all learn from mistakes. Keep up the great Vlogs!
Hi Andrew, superb content as usual! Just wondering what apps do you use to track your session? or any good recommendation ?
Hey Andrew....enjoying the Vlog's, have watched them all....they are "Getting Better All the Time"
I hope I can take a pic with you some day when I am in Vegas...maybe even buy you a beer....
Thx, keep up the nice work....

About to hit 50k subscribers!! All well earned!! Great work! Great videos!
Do you always raise small pocket pairs UTG?
Pretty much, unless the lineup is exceptionally tough, which doesn't occur too often at these stakes.
Beanies, I like them myself. Many people can't (or shouldn't) wear them, but you sir, rock the beanie.
Andrew: You have an interesting combination of technical ability, language skill and a sense of what might be beautiful.
andrew wil you be able to film when playing at bellagio trooper has been manging too
Right as i'm about to go to work. Thanks Andrew..
That Jacks to Jokers white Tee looks pretty cool
I watch all of your vids from sweden, keep it up man :):)

my goodness these videos are the bomb
hey Andrew, quick question around your poker schedule. I noticed from your phone record you only play cash games once every 5 days or so... do you play more and keep a separate records in between these dates? or do you have a day job during the week (pretty impressive if you only play part time poker and are winning at 5/10!)
Love the work Andrew, makes my day when I see an new vlog.
Do you only play once or twice a week?
hey Andrew what app do you use to save your session stats? i use poker income pro and not sure if i am completely satisfied as i spotted and dealt with annoying glitches and was looking if anything better is out there.
Does anyone else give the video a thumbs up before even watching? Guaranteed to be good. Keep it up Andrew!
Why did you turn Analyse by Thom Yorke off :(
Was a few seconds away from a copyright strike! 😬
Yeah, fair dues. However Thom is against that kind of thing and it's his album, but yeah you gotta be careful.
Caught Thom Yorke's "Analyse" in there when picking your car up from Valet. Nice taste in music
Cheers!
So do I just search up Qigong to find the 10 minute sleep routine?
You can do that, but if you want, I can teach it to you instead. We could do a skype session and you'll need a white piece of paper and a blue pen! ;) Qigong is the grandfather of yoga. It is a moving meditation that builds the energy body. You will love it. How can I message you here for private info?
Hey Andrew, what kind an app you using on your phone, that you showed at the end of the video with your winnings? thanks!
nice video man. don't know if the back view with the gopro tho. front view looks best, no?
Just switching it up a bit. I just like how you can get just about any angle, and no reason to always have it in the same spot. Aside from it being a sort of "signature" shot.
I paused the screen to look at your phone. Weird that you're going every 5 days. I just wouldn't have expected such an odd and consistent pattern. And WOW you must do well at the casino a lot. Lots of green 3-4 digit dollar values. Pretty nice.
Hell yeah Pablo! representing all the Casinos that I play at!
hey andrew does that app POKER INCOME help you manage your bankroll a lot better? also did you get the free version or the paid version whats the difference?
hi andrew, greetings from germany! love your great vlogs!
you have the best poker vlog.
shoutout from the Van city! got more fans then just yang from here andrew! :)
Hey andrew, i noticed that the videos with a thumbnail containing chips/cards/poker table scene have more veiws than other videos without such thumbnails. awesome vlogs, keep it up
Yeah the people like their gambling scenes, don't they.
Very thorough feedback.
First time watching....awesome work, Andrew!
that jacks jokers shirt with the cards sleeve looks dope
Nfloz Johnson it's so phat that it's dank
About runnning it twice...does the casino take rake two times then? Or only one time? If the casino charge rake two times you should only run it once. Right?
super boom Running it more than once doesn't change the pot size thus the rake wouldn't change.
I know it does not change the pot size since you are all-in. But at the casino in Sweden they charge rake twice when running it twice. I just wondered if it's the same in Vegas. (if the pot reached the cap of the rake)
They don't charge extra rake for it here. I've heard of that occurring elsewhere but not in Vegas.
