Been playing for almost 40 years and never took an interest in Jacksons and could never understand the appeal, until I found this guitar on sale for 140 dollars and figured what the fck. Best decision I made in years. Loved it so much I bought another 4 Jacksons since and love every one of them. They really got that neck right.
i agree, it was the same for me at first, i never likes the jacksons but then my guitar that i had broke and had a gig so i bought this same one from a friend who had one laying around from his brother and knew nothing about guitars at all for 40$, best decision made! totaly worth it!!
My very first guitar was this exact model jackson dinky with a tremolo bridge and I tuned the action to play just as well as any 800* prs guitar out there. The local guitar salesman was impressed by how well it played, despite the shortcomings of the stock pickups lack of tonal brightness you get from upper end single coils but you get what you get.
Same here, got one with a cracked neck, fixed it loved it, now Im 3 jacksons deep. The jackson licensed floyd rose are actually pretty decent, you just have to dial them in. 😊
I went ahead and placed in an order for this guitar. It was the best decision I have ever made!!

I've Checked out these Jackson Js Series guitars. For the buck there a great choice for guitar players of All levels and all ages.More people should get into playing
I have one of these, my only complaint is how stupidly high the nut was, especially on the treble strings. And I'm still in the process of getting it fixed. Apart from that it's a decent guitar for the price
Получил сегодня JS11, но в описании была с серебристой фурнитурой, а пришла с черной. Думал вернуть, ибо черная краска сцарапывается, но потом передумал. Пусть будет для разнообразия (на моей Fender Squier Bullet Strat HSS - серебристая фурнитура). Разобрал - сделана добротно, с экранированием! Смазал порожек и седла струн, настроил анкер, высоту струн, проверил мензуру - все быстро и просто. Лады значительно шире, чем у Squier, за руки не цепляются, качественное лаковое покрытие. Сопротивление бриджевого звукоснимателя выше, чем у прежнего суперстрата (15.1 против 10 кОм) , что косвенно может свидетельствовать о большем количестве витков катушек и, соответственно, большем выхлопе (нековый хам - 8.1 кОм). Машинка - на 2 болтах (подобная на Ibanez GRG170), простенькая (на Squier - на шести) и ее ручка не вкручивается, а просто вставляется с фиксацией. Вычитал, что назвали эту серию "DINKY" за то, что корпус у нее несколько меньше стандартного - 7/8. Приложил к прежнему суперстрату - да, чуть меньше. Гитара удобная, хорошо звучит, отлично выглядит и недорого стоит!

Price doesn't matter tone is mostly in the fingers practice matters more than the price of your guitar zakk Wylde palying a hello Kitty proves this so if you like something that's only $100 get it

It’s a great place to start you can replace all most all the things on here eventually! It’s a perfect foundation that has something missing not cheap stuff added! Needs a better nut and maybe tremolo some day. If you are a either guitarist don’t worry about much with it!!
I had a Jackson Dinky JS11 only Jackson I ever owned I like a flat thin C neck, I like a radius 12-14 . Comfortable neck.I also have a Glarry burning fire I love the neck on it as well its 13.7(all Glarry guitars have this neck radius)

I own one of these in red. It's a fantastic guitar. I should have got locking tuners when I got it, but I choked and didn't think of it. But I put better pickups in it and it's a fucking awesome little guitar.
Pickups are so cheap to make that "better" pickups are usually just ripping you off lol

I just bought this guitar last week at a pawn shop for $100.00. I don't think it was every really played. Great guitar for the money, better than my more expensive Ibenez.

It plays like a cheap RG ibanez for like half the cost. It's a great little guitar. I just put better pickups in mine and it's fucking great. Even the pickups it comes with are pretty good.
The original pickup is high output as advertise?
I own this guitar it sounds awesome in distortion and clean not that great .. Overall good guitar ..

which is better to start the squier affinity or jackson dinky js11?
Cristobal Vergara :D if you’re looking for something more rock and roll-ish style go for strat ( squier ) (ex: Nirvana went with the strat body and sounds really good ) if you’re more into metal amd heavy go with the jackson
I have this exact dinky, I just put better pickups in mine and it's great, LOCKING TUNERS ARE NEEDED FOR THE WHAMMY SHIT.
I still haven't got locking tuners for mine yet so I haven't been able to use it.
Awesome. I was gonna get the ibanez mikro, but now that i know that the jackson dinky minion is 2/3rd smaller than the ibanez mikro im goin with this one since ive got a small body frame and small hands.
Can anyone maybe tell me about the overall quality of one of these? Is the wood and hardware any good? Or does it age faster than milk? I want one
Out of the box, it is surprisingly nicely made for such cheap money.

How is the tuning stability? Do the bridge saddle screws hurt your right hand when palm muting?

good but trem sucks.. mine throws everything out of tune no matter how well cut or lubricated my nut slots are..
@@Mikau-gb8uo what ive found helps slightly with this guitar (note not fixes, but makes it more tollerable) is to remove one of the three springs on the trem, makes it easier to use and it goes out a lot less

На гитарах такого бюджета я бы не использовал активно тремоло. В целом строй держит. Если заменить пружины и смазать будет лучше.

Finally I bought a guitar for learning and practising. I chose this JS11as used for good price and I'm waiting now to arrive. The size is smaller than regular strat or as the same? How much weight is it, lighter or heavy?

По цене - более, чем привлекательная - 139 евро в Германии. Как она соотносится с начальной гитарой Ibanez GRG170 (250 EU)? Стоит ли переплачивать?

Epiphone's aren't great for Metal, you have to change the pickups but the wood is probably better, they use mahogany rather than basswood (Jackson use it for for all their JS guitars, it doesn't sustain well).
