157RANDOM Belleville Ontario here. I also Can’t wait. My collection is growing, but still have no space to actually model. I’ve always wanted to do the Kingston sub with CP Belleville sub integrated, and go train from Oshawa to Toronto.
+Rusty Springz He seems like a hard working individual who has built a great life for himself. Try it once in a while, you might not be so negativite towards everyone else all the time.
Very enjoyable and interesting. Many times we think of our rr manufactures as being big corporations, and most are just like this one. A small family of friends building in the hobby of trains. I've been to Intermountain in Longmont, Co. and they are just as personable (minus the passenger car in the basement) Thank you and I want a Nerd shirt too!
Revell offers a super detailed 1/24th scale model kit of the AEC Routemaster double decker bus. And there are photo etch after market parts to make it even more detailed!
James great video , I am glad you got to meet Jason. He is a super nerd and great guy all around. Talked to him a few times at a Mississauga train store and at a local Hamilton Canadian manufacture show. Very down to earth and he loves his trains and the hobby. Companies like mth and athern should learn from this type of passion. It's not about dollers and cents it's about making something that is built well and just fantastic. I am also glad you finally made it to Canada, Toronto is an excellent city that I live just an hour drives from. Your next Canadian adventure should be riding via or the Rocky Mountainer through BC.
Enjoyable vid Jim, good going! Jason and the Rapido team are such a cool and down to earth group. Frustrating for me is that I was visiting Canada at the same time, but my friends planned a full schedule of tourist trip visits that kept me away from Markham (grrrrrr!). I took photos and videos of my visit and will show some on the Atlas Rescue forum.
At about three minutes, You all should have " Rapido Train Pass" for you visitors. Make 'em on a copy machine ! That would be Too Cool !! At 5:00 min, we have a 1963 GM Pd4106 that we cruise in. It's a one bedroom house on wheels and it gets attention Anywhere (Everywhere) we go ! Wayne Everett on TH-cam. There are two tours of it. The newer tour.
This has got to be the best video I've watched so far on your channel... Thumbs up! 👍🏼 PS a playlist on how your home layout is coming along would be really enjoyable to watch. :)
we have a double decker buss sitting in a field here in simi valley, dunno if it is for sale, but I can find out, if he wants it. Also, if Jason could make a Yosemite Sugar Pine Railroad Shay locomotive, I would go insane!
James...Excellent video! Wow, it sure shows a person/persons who love their job. I can't wait to see some of their new things coming out. Maybe at TrainFest 2016 in Milwaukee?
Small world, I lived most of my life in Kingston. My family is still there. I was hoping to return in a couple of years, but may put that off for a year since I live approx 5 hours from Cheyenne and I'd love to see the Big Boy completed.
Nice video! Great trip! Heading to Cedar Point, eh? We are about 3 1/2 hours southwest of there! No train car in my basement ... my basement holds my shop, and a lot of storage. No layout per se ... just some Kato Unitrack I set up to run my trains ... but ... there is a lifesize African Lion and Black Leopard in our living room! Makes for interesting photo ops and conversation! ;) Stop on by some time!
I love the train myself and wishing I can get ride a real train on tracks .I own trainset but,no longer will be be able do it anymore .he's a wonderful guy man .
flat screen in the window showing a tour of scenery going by. Then you hear the bong, bong, now departing your guys version of the Space needle in Seattle.

Gees Louise @4:33 I would've been like okay interview over! This guy really lives up to the Canadian fashion stereotype too with the cut off jean shorts LOL
That was way cool! Jason seems like a heck of a guy and it looks like he gave you the royal treatment. They make some really nice models, I just don't model much Canadian stuff (no insult intended to our brothers in the north)
Cool stuff, I am only a 20 minute drive form Windsor, Ontario. Take the Via Rail to Toronto, drive via the Detroit / Windsor Tunnel. "Cool Video" • Cheers from The Detroit & Mackinac Railway 🚂
Your best bet would be to call Bachmann. Their repair service is fantastic. They will replace any broken things as long as you supply the initial cost.

I gotta say, after seeing this, and how passionate they are, I would want to make Rapido my go-to brand for trains. Really cool!
+Rusty Springz shut the hell up internet troll!
+Rusty Springz I like Bachmann, but I would rather support a small business with a passion. Thanks for your input though.
CSX Actually has a AC6000 #666, I think it is the only US Loco with that road number though.
I think BNSF has a 666, but they also have a 777. Both ends of the spectrum.
EJ&E had a GP-38 (or an SD40) with that number
Just checked and it was a SD40
166 US locos have number 666
GO Transit in Ontario has GO 666 an MP40PH -3C.
WoW I love the Moller Mac :)
That is a very very rare computer now
Per Jason' Comments>>>. How about building a Pennsy Congressional /Senator (at least the Obs and Tavern Lounge )--not offered by Walthers?
