Gin it has a savoury fermentation taste not sure if you know edamame (if not imagine mild buttery green beans) taste? put that together with a slightly stinging fermentation taste. you usually add a kind of udon-noodle soy sauce and a bit of mustard though without that it tastes a bit boring. (ps: but it kinda stinks)

Yes! I eat natto regularly! The smell, is a little hard to describe. It has a slight spoiled smell but also with coffee notes. The taste is delicious though! Some people dont like the texture, but its not sticky or slimy in your mouth. So yummy!
Natto is an equired taste many people dont like it and i think the taste varies between people, for me Natto tastes like coffee and i love it in my miso soup. also the texture is as u can see is slimy and the smell is offputting for some people.
