Ford Ranger Bed Swap 1993-2011 How to

This evening we swapped the bed on a 97 Ford Ranger. Process should be the same for 93-2011 Ford Rangers. Short beds will interchange from 93-2011. Thanks for watching and if you have any questions just ask.

Oh man, of course the bolts connecting it to the frame is there, my 2011 came with a wooden bed box in it, I'd have to take that out, then the bed to get to my frame just to clean it all up and repaint it.

Yep. The beds are interchangeable.

Hi I got a ford ranger 2002 extended cab but I wanted to put a step side form a single cab ford ranger truck would it fit..

As long as both beds are “short beds” they will swap no problem. You’ll also have to change the rear bumper and gas filler neck as they are also different.

Yes. You’ll have to change rear bumper and fuel tank filler neck as they are different. Bed will bolt up the same.
