I am back with another exciting Tech Video.
This is the 15th video of this tutorial series call Cloud Computing with Microsoft Azure.
In today's video we are going to configure the Point To Site (P2S) VPN configuration live in Azure Portal.
And also we are going to test it by using the VPN client in our client machine.

hey thanks for your vpn setup videos, I need all the traffic to go through public ip, I mean after connecting vpn, when I check my google browser, I want to see gateway ip, can you suggest this is possible and how
I don't think so...but let me check if I get any solution for this.. 👍
Hello thanks, if I create a new VM inside a new ressource do I need to create new rootcert and client cert ??
Well I think so as the resource group is different. You should go for a try and let me know.

What's the impact, on updating the gateway in production, does it stop services or safe to configure the P2S in hours?
It depends brother based on your requirements..but yes P2S is safe in production, I never implement it but yes I used it.
Great tutorial very helpfull. is there a wa y you can ping vice versa? let say the Azure VMs can ping the onpremise Endpoint via P2S vpn?

Nice video. Does Azure P2S always work for Split tunnel? My Internet connection drops after connecting to P2S VPN. Any idea why this could be happening?
Ya, this often happens when we try locally in our machine, I faced it too.
Our enterprise uses user certificate to connect to vpn, is it something configured just like the client certificate you performed

Do you renew the cert after it expires or create a new one
No like I said I never implemented it on prod.
Why are certificates asked for me in p2s configuration instead of tunnel ? I'm not sure.
Hi Thank you for asking the question.
Certificates are used by Azure to authenticate clients connecting to a VNet over a point-to-site VPN connection. Once you obtain a root certificate, you upload the public key information to Azure.
I already configure point to site now I would like to setup always on devices vpn configuration do you have ideas how setup xml profile for point to site is their any videos ?

I have configured all the things but I have installed remote machine for vpn setup and still vpn not showing

can I add multiple client machines using the same ClientCert file on azure network?
Well I did not try that, but actually you should.
Imaging there are 200+ machine in an office how could it be possible to have different file for different machine.
@@techwithpri yup and I think to configure 200+ machines, the best practise is to configure site-to-site VPN, right?

There is one problem here Client ip doesn’t match with vnet ip spaces so connectivity is failed
It has to be under same address space.
It will choose one of the ip address out of 256 addresses range which we provide in address pool during configuration.
To be honest, I did not understand, but if I follow the steps, will I get an anonymous ip address for companies (good ip no proxy or vpn) when I create an rdp
