So many good things in this camera, no USB-C thats a mistake
true!
Exactly
Great video, what about big lenses like the 300mm f4, do you think you can still work properly with them despite being smaller than OM1? thanks for any reply as I want to upgrade from my EM10 MKII and thinking about the two OM options.
No USB-C, no flash unit, no battery charger, no Olympus logo, same physical design as previous EM-5, old menu system - not quite a worthy upgrade.
Shame no Flash shipped with this model
True, but AliExpress has them for around $50
Where’s Steve Buscemi’s son?
Covert Black ops.
Bloody expensive for what it is
I was thinking it’s super under priced for what it can do.
@@WhoIsSerafin you mean the "vertical video" right ? That's a gamechanger for sure...or the 20 mpixels sensor ? Or the micro USB port(all the competition has type c),or the small battery ?
Look at the competition with the same money you can get cameras such as canon eos r,Sony a7 iii ,nikon z6 ,panasonic s5
@@Sorennn94 don’t do video.
Never use the micro usb.
I like the small battery because I want a small body first and just put a extra 2 in my pocket and I’m good for a 10 hour day.
But I do like the very small size with a weather resistant body.
TRUE 6.5 stops of ibis unlike other manufacturers drastically not telling the truth.
The very useful, at least for me of the handheld high resolution shot.
Nobody else makes a body with those features so small, the others mentioned are big bricks for what I want.
For me it was pretty good deal and honestly I was pretty hard on the camera when it came out.
@@WhoIsSerafin I respect your opinion
I regret having bought it. For the price, the OM1 is much better. The OM5 has a very bad grip, an even worse viewfinder, very little autonomy, and an unintuitive menu. Additionally, when using zoom type 12_40 2.8 or 8-25 f4 it is very uncomfortable and unbalanced.

FOLDING GRIP FOR OLYMPUS OM-D EM5 MARK III,OM-5
Seems like a good grip all round. If you still have your camera.
