This overview came at a good time since I was looking for a new game to play on Game Pass. Oddly enough, I'd never even heard of this time even though it's right up my alley. Thanks again for the overview.
Tried it and while it did look nice, it just didn't click with me. I think the UI felt a bit clunky (for a lack of a better word) to me, even though it was very atmospheric. Same with the gameplay, it just felt an odd bit too sluggish. Can't really put my finger on it. I feel like I expected combat itself to be a bit more fast paced and the tower defense aspect to be more steamlined I guess? Well, and the presentation/story was a very mixed bag. All in all I'm happy that 'experimental' double A games like this exist, even though it wasn't for me.
