Love watching your videos on cars. Must be sweet talking to someone who is still around and can tell you stories about your Grandfather. Memories are the Best!! Thank you for all of these videos.
Just checked out the '58 Bel Air today. It looks rough, but amazingly solid under and a good starting point for the price. The '66 Coronet was (in my opinion) the deal of the show! In a time when the asking price for some average driver condition 2-door V8s that are NOT special models are up to $30K it was refreshing to see something turnkey for a reasonable price. The LAST thing I would do is restomod it!!! The rear chrome panel was roached out a little more than this video shows, and that is about all I would replace, and drive it as is! Also, it still has the 'death-can' master cylinder, so I would upgrade that.
@@GNXperimental Nope, fire hydrant in the early 70's. The second owner of 42 years as a teenager had not realized he parked by a hydrant. Opps. I have no idea who shot at me.
Thanks for the thumbs up. I own the car and it certainly draws the crowds. I drive a 62 Falcon sedan delivery as my summertime daily driver, now being updated. The 65 is 1 of 1 so its a restoration.
I’m planning on coming to Carlisle next year and Hershey for the 70th year anniversary the week later will be over from the uk and really looking forward to it Parker I hope to meet you when walking around the shows.
Hi Parker, just want to say great content as usual and ime so envious because you guys have so many swap meets , parts reasonably easy to source. I have a 73 440 roadrunner here in Perth Australia, all paperwork, but finding parts is sooooo hard🤦♂️.. and to buy from America costs a packet in postal charges. Anyway, keep up the great work buddy👏👏🙌🙌🙌👍
My parents still have their 66 Comet Caliente convertible, it was the 1st brand new car they bought after getting married. Had it restored back in the late 90s and drive it every summer here.
18:44 - The 1961 - 67 Lincoln convertibles are some of my all-time favorites ! I also love the Jaguar XJS sitting behind it, (I have a '96). Carlisle was always a favorite time of year for me when I lived in Altoona. Great memories !
Parker you have your work cut out for you on the meaning of 442. It changed over the years from 4- speed and 4 BBL to 400 c.i. and then the automatic trans was introduced. The 455 engine in 1970 really did not apply. The 2 always stood for dual exhaust. I know you can do it!
Hey Parker, Carlisle was my favorite and easy to get to from Roxborough. Now that I live in Sarasota I saw about a week and half ago a 69 RS Z28 45k miles original protecto plate with the original owner. All original unmolested no center console pre cowl induction hood car. Even the laquer was in great shape with the checking in the normal places but has never seen snow and never been in the rain for about 35 years. It was a real treat and I got some awesome phone pics too boot.
Because. Of the fondness of my grandfather and I i loved hearing that story about your grandfather couldn't sell the car so he started parting the car out at the show that says the great story
It was blue white interior white vinyl roof. In May of 1972 I paid $400 for it !! Had it only 29 days on memorial Day two old ladies in a big four-door Pontiac T-Boned me 😢😢
I was there Wednesday and Thursday. I wanted to see what you had to say about the 67 Camaro, in your thumbnail. That dude was insane. $16K for a #5 condition 6 cylinder parts car. I bought parts for my 69 Mustang and 73 Camaro. I live about 50 minutes from there and started going in 1983.
That highly modified Fairlane @ 15:20 has 1967 taillights, or it is a 1967. I had a '66 and a '67. The '66 was my first car back in '75 when I was 15 years old.
I own the 65 Sedan Delivery, the side trim is factory. 64/65 could have the same trim...I was unaware. Since this was a special order the person optioned it out fully. Im sure it started with the A code engine.
Damn I missed it this year I should have went especially since I'm only an hour away from Carlisle but as usual people take a bunch of overpriced crap up there and take it right home I sold two nice square body Chevys up there at the spring Carlisle last year but they were going within 2 hours because they were really nice trucks for real good deals
None of these beasts are worth anything without skilled labor to make them the thing of beauty, they're just another old car until someone brings them back to life!
DONT BELIEVE THIS GUY. Cars are alive and well and theres more and more young people getting in to it all. Oh, and guess what Eugene....Women.... Carlisle had "gulp" women looking for parts, builders, and turn keys. I was there, bro, 4 days. Come on, Eugene...Two more beers and the nightmare will be over. Geez, this guy.
Dude, please... 'stickers' have politicials' names on them. Automotive accents are called GRAPHICS. Please stop insulting your audience and the cars you're showing. Otherwise, nice job!
FIND ONE BRO for the price you think you can get it for.... CANT be done and if you do J.U,N.K. Im around the United States many times a year...I see and know. My advice is, If you see something you like and you're willing to invest, time, money, blood, and devotion including all aspects of your life, do it. Otherwise, do what this guys done run his mouth from his recliner and get another beer. I suspect the stuff this guy builds is a classic pile of, thats right, PILE. God Bless the idiot.
This is quickly becoming a top 5 channel for me.
The first car with the rumble seat in it is my favorite car of all time.I'm 52 years old now.I used to draw that car as a child

This is a fantastic service. Cool cars for us to look at. Lotsa eyeballs 👀on the cars to improve chances of selling.

I enjoy your knowledge Parker, keep the content coming
I go to spring Carlisle, GM & Corvette..Missed fall this year so this was a nice recap…
66 Chevelle Malibu was my first car ! 283 cubic inch with a slip and slide Powerglide !! 😊
Sedan delivery Ford is cool as anything.
Gun shot on one side and the other side it looks like it battled a forklift.

@@MikeLeonardi-u7nThat car is awesome- I can’t believe all the options they put on a “work wagon”.
Loved it used to go back in the day when I was restoring my car

That 427 fairlane is a great deal, especially rust free. Wish I could afford it
Typical fall Carlisle weather. Been decades since I moved away to TX. Always seemed like early winter moved in just in time for the show
You’re like the Indiana Jones of cars! [17:21] Another great find.
Outstanding!!
Carlisle is awesome 😅
Awesome cars ! Prices are not crazy
Parker your video is way too short, I could watch for a few more hours. 👍🏻
13,500 for a Pontiac Pheonix with a Nova front end and interior. I wouldnt be too sure aboout it being a factory 75' Nova SS

Modern Day My Classic Car!
The life of a used car salesman. He used to sell vacuum cleaners but he found out it sucked.
Cool video. I like the panel wagon but the price seemed a tad steep.
18,500 for the 66 Chevelle seems a little high.🤫
Born in.the usa since 1966 northern calif 🇺🇲
Obs truck, what does obs stand for? Thanks
I always heard old body style
@@RobertSmith-le8wp thanks Robert for info it sounds right to me also
